Family-friendly holiday rentals in Martigny-Combe

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Chalet Feiler! The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The kitchen is generously equipped, including coffee capsules, milk, spices, oil and charcoal for the grill. Everything was very clean and cozy. The chalet has fully met our expectations! Communication with Anoushka was straightforward and detailed. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying with Patrizia and Antonio, without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

This is a large Airbnb, which is fairly close to the train station in Zermatt, and the host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The Airbnb is situated on the side of a large hill, which faces the Matterhorn. We had a beautiful view of the mountain every single day, and the dual lifts make it easy and convenient to get from town to the Airbnb. The only downside -- and it really wasn't much of a problem -- is that the Airbnb is located near the edge of town, and so it is about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of Zermatt where most of the restaurants are located. Regardless, if you have a large group, this makes for a good option. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great people to deal with. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay due to an issue at our end but I would highly recommend based on their communication and helpfulness

9 of us stayed here and the chalet was great for us, plenty of room and a great kitchen. I would definitely stay there again and will be recommending to F & F.

The stay in the castle was something very special for our whole family (6 adults, 3 children aged 4, 6 and 11)! The atmosphere is particularly elegant, the view is awesome, plenty of good amenities and the surroundings are gigantic! We enjoyed the garden with the different seating areas, played a lot of table tennis and hiked from the house, spent a wonderful afternoon at the lake directly in Bonneville, appreciated shopping in the village (especially the Fromagerie) and were from there in Chamonix (cogwheel railway: fantastic - gondola on the Aguille du Midi and hike from the middle station: breathtaking!) and in the "horseshoe valley" with the many waterfalls: highly recommended! THANK YOU, Cathrine! Also for the trust!

We were lucky enough to enjoy an exceptional stay at Michel's chalet. Everything from start to finish was incredible: the sumptuous setting, with mountains all around the chalet, the spacious chalet, very clean and with a lot of charm. The cleanliness of the chalet and all the amenities generously provided by Michel. In addition, we had the chance to meet Michel, who was very responsive about the reservation but also very attentive, many attentions in the chalet made the stay really incredible! A fabulous hideaway, so quiet, no noisy roads, no noisy people. Just perfect. Lovely and warm, very clean, full of everything we needed. Was great to just read and not have a TV And we didn't need a microwave because we were able to cook ourselves easily. Plenty warm water and so luxurious to have a bath in the apartment, fantastic!! Also Samoens has lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. In addition we were able to use a couple of spare towels as a curtain in the bedroom, so no problems at all. The information provided was so thorough, there was nothing we didn't understand. A wonderful place to stay for a week Thank you so much Scotti You have been amazing, I hope we can stay again ❤️

The apartment was very nice, the sleeping areas were very comfortable. The location was good, very close to both the downtown as well as hiking trails. Pierre was very quick to respond and friendly, and even gave good recommendations for the area. It did get quite hot in the area and the apartment got very muggy on a few nights, and I would have gladly paid more for some kind of AC. However, no air conditioning is typical for the area so it is not a knock against the apartment. On the nights where it cooled down and the windows were open the apartment was very comfortable and gave a beautiful view of the mountains. If I were to ever go back to Chamonix I would consider staying here again.

A wonderful host, cares for guests just like family!! The place is a little paradise aptly away from the promenade, offering breath taking views, murmur of the stream and quaintness. Highly recommend for all guests wishing to stay a little away from the promenade yet close to it.

We had a great, short stay and it was fantastic. The villa is beautiful, we loved having the pool to cool off in after a days riding. The villa is a short walk from the old town of Annecy with its wonderful bars and restaurants. It's also very convenient for the lake. Our hosts Aimé and Faïza were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend their place as a base for exploring Annecy and the surrounding region. I'll be back with my family at some point.

What an amazing place, complete with everything you could possibly need, and the best host, Bendrie - whose warm smile and friendly demeanor invites you to feel immediately at home. Mimi the cat also helped with that. The space was more than enough for 3 couples to share, buy we were only 3 in total so we enjoyed spreading out and soaking up the views from the balconies. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the hike to Lac Taney as well, which is conveniently on your doorstep. Also, loved the drive up and down the mountain. A perfect experience for my sister and niece to experience Switzerland for the first time. Truly unforgettable.

Comfortable apartment with great view

We came to Michel & Svetlana's to stay during the Annecy animation festival. We were extremely well received, the accommodation is perfect as well as its location easy to find (20 min from the city center), quiet and beautiful. Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. Nordic bathing is a plus. The hikes nearby are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

We went as a group of 4 to spend a moment of change of scenery at Sebastien's & we had enough space for all of us in the chalet. The accommodation is pleasant, the street is peaceful & there are quite a few activities nearby. Sebastien is welcoming, friendly & makes good apple pies for the arrival of the guests!
