We loved our stay! Our family, including dog, spent time ringing in the new year. From the moment we checked in, to having the Christmas trees all lit up was something extra special and we all appreciated. The fire, the hot tub, the super spacious and comfortable couch - everything makes this place wonderful. The outdoors - great woodsy environment with plenty of places to get outside and stretch our legs. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you! JT, Tara and family

We were in town for a event. Location was great. Loved checking out local places like the brewery, bakery and Cal's. Place was easy to find, clean, perfect for what we needed.

Great communication, clean, great vicinity to golf courses if going on a golf trips.

DaNita was great with communication both about the stay as well as providing information about the area, much appreciated. The home was definitely as advertised....we truly appreciated the use of the garage, loading and unloading in the rain would have been less fun! ;) Having spent some time in the general area the last couple of years we know the bugs can be brutal....the screened in porch is amazing!!

Angela was wonderful! The home was beautiful, and spotless! She supplied many cooking utensils and lots of kitchen supplies which made meals easy! Our group of 10 stayed here comfortably and we can’t wait to come back! Angela responded promptly with any questions we had and made sure we felt welcome! The price is incredible, this home can’t be beat!

Nice place but pretty run down. The pictures don't really match what you see once you get there. The lake is VERY small, like a pond. In my opinion, it is not worth it to rent the pontoon, there is nowhere to go. Not a safe place for small kids. For 200$ or so a night, it was not my cup of tea, compared to others I've stayed at.

After staying at Maddie's place, I went back through the listing to see what it was rated -- and was surprised it wasn't 5-star by other reviewers. I've stayed in dozens of Airbnb properties - and this one was a winner. Clean, quiet, private, and beautiful. It was the perfect place for my husband and dog to get a bit of R&R. We took a few walks, used several of the amenities in the kitchen area, and appreciated the water pressure and temperature for the shower. And the view alone was worth 5-stars.

This house was so perfect for my group of seven girls! It had a fully functional kitchen with all the pots pans, utensils, and spices you could need. The river provided a beautiful view, and the home was located in a very walkable and private neighborhood. everything was clean and there was plenty of extra towels, linens, paper towel, towels, etc. for us to use. Kathleen was incredibly quick to respond and helpless answer. Any questions we had about the house and also made sure to provide local recommendations of things for us to do during our stay.I highly recommend!

It's an incredible space, it has a very peaceful atmosphere. An incredible place to spend a good demo with family!

This was a wonderful AirBnB! We (wife, toddler, two dogs, and myself) used this as a home base for our UWSP area adventures, and it was absolutely perfect. At only about 10-15 minutes from world class recreation and coffee, this is an ideal destination for people with or without kids. Feltz’s Dairy store is a must stop for families. House is in a beautiful setting overlooking a stunning lake. Lots of hot water in the shower, well equipped kitchen and plenty big bedrooms. Also had thoughtful touches for dog owners like towels for their paws. Would absolutely stay again!

I would definitely stay there again. Wonderful home close to several towns and activities. Very clean and Ken and Sue are so responsive to anything you need, even things you don’t think you need like starting a fire in the fire pit! Highly recommend!

Everything was as described. It was nice to be able to choose how many rooms we needed, and we felt very welcomed in this gorgeous home. I grew up nearby and was visiting family. It felt so much more like home than anywhere else I've stayed, and I felt like I was able to give my son more of a glimpse of where/how I grew up. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Sherry’s place when shooting in the high school trap tournament to save us drive time in the morning. It was convenient in that it is a 20 minute drive. It was beautiful area and most importantly clean.

Kimberly & Kerry were great to work with, responsive and flexible. This place was perfect for our family and we would recommend it and/or stay here again.

Emily is a tremendous host and her home was perfect for our weekend in Stevens Point. Very clean, cozy house with a super cute backyard. Neighborhood was quiet. Emily was very prompt with all communication and her attention to details was appreciated. Thank you, Emily, for allowing us to enjoy your home.

The Chouse was an amazing space. We had an extended stay here and it was perfect for our needs. It was a great location for our family in Wausau and a perfect place to bring the grandkids over for the day. We had room to play games and do crafts. They loved the air hockey and Pac-Man games. We had several tournaments. We would highly recommended this place for a family gathering.

This place was perfect for our needs, quaint, simple, and very clean! The sun porch was perfect for sitting while kids were still sleeping. We will definitely try to book again when we come back to town.

Heather's listing was amazing! I visited with a few friends I don't see often for a long weekend and the place was great! The property was extremely clean, had grilling equipment available, and had gorgeous views of the lake. The covered deck and patio in the back were our favorite part. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area, I cannot recommend it enough!

This was an amazing place to stay! Impeccably clean and very comfortable. Every room has a luggage rack, which is such a smart idea and we appreciated them! Walking distance to restaurants/bars. This house is so nicely done and we will definitely be booking again next year for our annual Girls Flower trip! Thank you Mary Ann!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Trailside Getaway!! We were in the area for our daughter's wedding and having such a beautiful, immaculate(!), perfectly stocked home made the days of the wedding celebration so incredibly special for us. Tiffany went above and beyond by quickly answering the questions I had for her in the months and days leading up to our stay. She even offered to help with some non-listed amenities that we needed. If we are ever in the area again and need a spot to stay, we will absolutely stay at the Trailside Getaway again!!

We were here for 3 nights during a golf trip for 4 people. The place was perfect for our needs. Would definitely come back.
