The cabin is an updated and expanded log cabin that is directly next to the Hessel Marina, the Les Cheneaux Culinary School and the Islander Bar. Perfect for boating, kayaking, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, fall colors, hiking and other activities.

Family owned for over 70 years. There is a main house, built in 1902 where the family stays throughout the summer and four cabins built shortly after. The Summer Kitchen Cottage- named for its original purpose, kitchen for the main house, is rustic but well appointed. Lakefront area is a shared space with resident and other guests.
