They did a great job accommodating a relatively last-minute reservation. The house is just over a hill from the construction site for the new airport, so even though it's close you don't have any noise or ugly views. There are some restaurants/bars 10-15 minutes to the West in/near Calibishie. The best beach on the island (Batibou) is also close. However, other major sites are 45+ minutes away. It's a very quiet corner of Dominica.

La localisation est particulièrement paisible au bord d’une belle rivière et l’appartement est parfaitement équipé. C’est le lieu parfait pour découvrir l’Est de la Dominique. Lawrenson is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! So kind and generous! Always willing to share with you all the different produce growing on his property. Bananas, plantains, papayas, guavas, breadfruit, ginger, turmeric, coconuts, tania, limes, sugarcane etc! Listening to the crashing waves of the Atlantic are soothing and peaceful. The pleasant sea breeze is a blessing! There is plenty of room in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality stainless steel pots and pans. Make sure to bring the groceries you’ll need for your stay. Like Lawrenson says, the beauty of Dominica is in its simplicity! Good Hope is a beautiful quiet village. You’ll definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle which you should have in Dominica anyway! We visited Emerald Pool, Spanny Falls, Jacko Falls, Jacko Flats, Salton Falls which are all within 30 minutes. There is a gas station in the neighbouring village of San Sauveur. We truly enjoyed our 18 days in this mini paradise!

What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est magnifique, l'agencement est bien pensé, il y a tout à disposition pour se sentir à l'aise. Les paysages des différentes terrasses sont justes incroyables et dépaysant. Le logement situé en hauteur est plutôt ventilé, ce qui a très agréable. Je le conseille à toute personne qui souhaite vivre un moment de bonheur intense et de sérénité. L'hôte a été super accueillante et réactive. Elle nous a conseillé des endroits et des événements festifs qui avaient lieu durant notre séjour. Après la découverte de l'île, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine avec ces jets relaxants, ce qui était très appréciable. Durant les temps de pluie, nous avons pu même profiter de moments de jeux sociétés... Vraiment un espace de paradis, nous le recommandons et reviendrons avec plaisir prochainement avec certitude.

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Hideaway. The location is close to the airport and convenient for an early morning flight. The multiple AC units and fans kept us cool and comfortable. We felt safe with the gated and secured access , and our host met at the property to give us instructions. The house is well appointed with all the modern convenience we needed. I highly recommend this spot, especially for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. It’s the perfect location for a quick trip spotless, cozy, and well kept.

Amazing place!! We had the entire property to ourselves on this trip. You can walk right down to the beach (which we had to ourselves nearly the entire time) in about 5 minutes and see crabs along the way. Beds were comfy (yes, there IS a/c and fans in the bedrooms, but the living area is open air), the linens were soft, and the view was spectacular. The pool was refreshing, you could see stars on clear nights, and the grounds were gorgeous. Would definitely come again!
