Our 1950's beach cottage is the perfect place to unwind and leave behind the stress of modern life. Although old, she is lovingly maintained showcasing the authenticity of a bygone era. Pet friendly and located 1 hour south of Durban, Banana beach is across the road and a mere 2 minute walk away. The beach is shark-net protected and a popular surf spot with lifeguards. The cottage has no direct sea view, facing inland toward our verdant garden offering protection from onshore winds.

Little Jack's is a private open plan, two sleeper studio with separate kitchen & bathroom. The cottage is spacious with a comfy double bed, ideal for a couple or solo traveller. The cottage is located on a large plot on raised ground adjacent to the owner's home & is 2 mins from the beach, shops & local amenities. Parking is shared in the main drive way, your garden is fenced & includes a table & umbrella. Tastefully decorated, well kitted, peaceful, clean, pet friendly & affordable.

Nombhaba Guest Cottage

Peaceful cottage set on a sugar cane and macadamia farm with access to many fun activities such as hiking, Zip lining and game reserve within the area. 30min from Margate and Ramsgate beaches and 45min from Southbroom Beach. Restaurants include Lake Eland, Leopard rock, The Gorge Hotel and Spa and The Gorgez View, among many others. Beautiful scenery and farm to go walking, running, cycling, and fishing. Dog friendly on request. Please note we approx. 2km on a district farm road.

Kothuis @ Kaja vir Baja a family holiday retreat, build in the 50s in the old railway cottage style, upgraded substantially since then and load shedding resistant. It is situated in a quiet seaside village and a minute's walk from a quiet unspoiled beach. The swimming beach (with shark nets) is approximate 10 min's walk. A small supermarket and pub is only a few minutes drive away.
