We had such an amazing, relaxing, and peaceful stay at this little cabin on the lake. Wayne and family were all wonderful and the pups made us feel right at home. If you like lake views out everywindow, cozy fires, sitting in the hot tub as you watch the sun set, and loving on some pups then this the spot for you. It's small. It's comfortable. It's got everything you need and the hosts are lovely. We loved this spot so much we just booked our next visit. See you guys soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with our family! The location is absolutely beautiful, with spectacular mountain views that made our mornings and evenings extra special. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked with plenty of options for family entertainment, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. If you're traveling with a little one, I recommend bringing a portable playard, as there isn’t one provided. The host, Brian, was fantastic—very communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to access the cabin and feel right at home. Highly recommend this location for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

Crissy is a very responsive and caring host. Her communication was timely; she went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. She proactively checked in with us, offered an early check-in, and made our entire arrival experience a breeze. The check-in process was very clear, thanks to the cottage instructions that were sent in advance. They also provided an excellent guide to local hikes, dining, and shopping. The A-frame cottage is an absolute gem where one can cook full meals in a well-stocked kitchen and enjoy them at a beautiful dining room table. We enjoyed the fireplace while playing board games provided by the host or watching a movie on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu (access provided by the host). The entire property was spotless, beautifully furnished with fantastic amenities like a modern sauna, hot tub, and a fire pit by the river. We had the peaceful and magical weekend we were looking for and hope to return soon.

The property is private and serene. The creek was wonderful to sit by in the mornings with a cup of coffee to get your day started. Tons of hiking trails nearby that provide beautiful views and a nice challenge. The surroundings are top notch with beautiful mountains and forests everywhere you look. Will definitely spend time here again when we are back in the area. The hosts are helpful and communicative. Would recommend to other potential guests.

Great spot by the river! Lot's of hikes nearby and plenty of entertainment between the cabin/game room. Dogs had a great time playing in the river. Would stay again!

We had such a great time staying here! It was so unique and genuinely a breath of fresh air. While we explored some of the grounds we saw all sorts of cute animals like bunnies and geese! It felt like we stayed in a fairytale cottage! The bathroom was so lovely and toasty. We loved everything! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This little dreamy cabin by the river was literally everything we had hoped for and more!! The location was perfect! We didn’t have to battle traffic getting to or from! Loved getting to hear the river as we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! The best part was watching an eagle fly by as we enjoyed the idealistic view! Will definitely stay here again!!!!

We had a great time at Lake Cavanaugh. We brought our 19ft aluminum boat to fish for a few days. The fish were active and tasted great. In our downtime we kayaked, paddle boarded, played games and scanned some of the interesting books. We appreciate the welcoming hospitality we received from Candace.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin, with amazing forest area, it felt very secluded. The inside of the house had plenty of room and was a very comfortable stay.

We had a lovely weekend at the cabin! We arrived and immediately could breathe - the peaceful feeling of privacy, the numerous forest animals and birds greeted us with their songs and cuteness, and the cabin encouraged simplicity and quality time. Carlo was a great host in every way. His beautiful property came right out of a dream that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed after days away from the daily grind. Lots of fantastic hikes for any skill level nearby, fun town things to do within 1 hour drive, and the most breath taking views everywhere! we will definately be back!

This was the perfect get away cabin! It’s just far enough out of the cities to feel secluded but close to enough to not feel like it’s a constant commute to do anything. The cabin was extremely well stocked and a very comfortable stay. Every evening was perfect with the deck and views to settle down for the night. I hope to be able to come again soon!

We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Julie and Peter have a wonderful vacation spot with everything we needed. Such a thrill watching and listening to the waves crashing into the shoreline. We would highly recommend their clean and comfortable home, and hope to visit again someday!

Such a beautiful spot, I was wowed from the moment we walked in. Very cosy, with a nice modern kitchen. Bed is super comfy, fireplace is great.

Beautiful setting and thoughtfully decorated. Loved the private patio for breakfast. Well furnished, including comfortable couch and nice TV. Host was very responsive to all questions and clear and easy checking in instructions. Would definitely return on our next Port Townsend visit! (Not too far from town and appreciated getting away from the tourists, too.)

The clean and cozy interior is warmly lit and thoughtfully decorated, leaning into it's honey bee theme without overdoing it. It was clear that someone put a lot of thought into the details and decoration of the space. Even though it was just off the road with easy access to the property, we immediately noticed that it is silent inside. The bed was also firm and comfortable. Every inch of the interior and view from the lake facing windows makes you feel like you are deep in the woods. From the patio we watched king fishers swoop and chitter, tiny Pacific tree frogs hopping through the grass, and hawks swirling overhead. It struck a perfect balance between feeling remote and accessibility to the town of Eastsound (only a 6 minute drive away).

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Like stepping into a fairyland. Clean, well stocked, and absolutely stunning location. Beds were very comfy and soft linens. Furniture was comfortable and clean. You can see and hear a beautiful creak from the deck. Don’t miss out on the beach hike. Was a quick drive to North Cascades national park. Hosts responded promptly and protectively checked in. Make sure to dress warm when you arrive as it was chilly until the heat kicked in, but warmed up quick. Would absolutely stay again, can’t wait to come back!!

This is an absolutely stunning location. Private, quiet, and the perfect amount of space and charm. We sadly arrived late in the evening and had an early morning but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the view with coffee before leaving. We have already booked for a few days from now on our return trip and are grateful to have a clean, safe place to stay. Couldn’t recommend this more.

John's place was available for our planned-in-the-last-minute Whidbey weekend and was affordably priced. Upon arrival we were greeted by deer, quail, and hummingbirds. Later, when fireside, we enjoyed watching bats flying overhead. There was lots of firewood available, the bathroom cabin was quite nice, and the bed was super comfy. Unique set up and great location for quick access to the Port Townsend ferry.
