We loved our stay at Anastasio’s! The apartment was clean and just as the photos described. The location was beautiful, overlooking the water and within walkable distance to everything you could need. Anastasio and Fotis were extremely responsive and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in early when we arrived to the city earlier than expected. Thanks for a great stay!

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

This is a lovely apartment in a peaceful and beautiful location. It is spacious and practical. Kostas is a generous host and was very helpful with local information. We had a great time and can recommend without hesitation😊

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

The place was great! We loved it! Close to the beach, great restaurants, walking distance to the old port and supermarket, not too far from the highway. The lodging was enormous and had so much room, ac worked great, having a parking space was very practical. Go ahead and book you won’t regret it.

Jeronimo ist ein richtig toller Gastgeber. Sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön oberhalb der kleinen Soudabucht mit grandiosem Ausblick. Zwei empfehlenswerte Tavernen sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Auch die Bar von Jeronimo ist toll und nicht zu verachten. Wir können die schöne, einfache aber zweckmäßige Unterkunft auf's Wärmste empfehlen.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

The host was very responsive which was greatly appreciated. Quiet neighborhood for sleeping with the windows open. Very walkable to the main port. Loved the balcony!

We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

כל כך נהננו בשהות שלנו בווילה ! הבריכה המחוממת לנוף מהמם ואזור כפרי מלא בטבע וירוק . הקבלת פנים הייתה נעימה ומסבירת פנים. כל שאלה שהייתה לנו המארחים ענו לנו מהר . היה מושלם ! חלום של מקום!

What an absolute gem of a place! Let's start at the beginning. We were a group of 4 adults. The property owner kept us up-to-date with all needed information prior to arrival & included links for local eateries, activities & attractions to better plan our stay. We had a taxi booked from & back to the airport which worked like a dream. On our arrival, we were met by the owner, Dimitris, & his son Kostas, who gave us a quick tour of the property, pointing out key features & how to operate the electric gate before leaving us to enjoy the setting, which is right on the beach with some astonishing views. Despite being right on the beach, We didn't feel overlooked in the slightest & the infinity pool is a beautiful to spend a few hours a day. There are several restaurants in Stavros & two mini-marts a short walk away. We visited Chania one day & did a boat trip to the remote cove of Seitan, but otherwise we lazed by the pool, swam in the sea & dined like royalty. In short, perfect!

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

The villa was absolutely stunning and had been designed with such an eye for detail. The villa was also immaculate and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The villa itself had everything you could possibly want, the pool and hot tub were exceptional and the facilities were just as pictured. The games room was a particular favourite of ours. The host was also fabulous! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Providing everything we needed to get settled as well as for our little one! We cannot wait to stay again! An amazing villa, host and holiday!

Die Wohnung ist exakt, wie auf den Fotos und beschrieben. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht: Geschirr, Besteck, Tassen, Gläser, Kochplatte mit zwei Feldern, Backrohr, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Kaffeemaschine (Filter) und Nespresso. Sogar eine Waschmaschine mit integriertem Trockner ist vorhanden. Alle 2-3 Tage wird geputzt und die Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Badetücher gewechselt und der Pool gepflegt. Küchenrolle, Toilettpapier Seife, Spülmittel, Geschirrspültabs, Waschmaschinentabs werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, 2 Strände (Kies & Sand) in 3 min. zu Fuss erreichbar. Die drei Restaurants in fussläufiger Umgebung sind gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Wenn man abends nach Paleochera möchte, braucht es jedenfalls ein Mietauto. Wenn man sich erholen und ausspannen will - ideal. Wenn man mitten im Trubel sein möchte - eher suboptimal. Die Wohnräume sind auf 2 Etagen - durch eine Wendeltreppe getrennt - daher hellhörig. Gesamturteil: besser geht es fast nicht..

This little villa was the perfect find for us! On a beautiful little cove with a beach across the street, private pool, very quiet and serene—a great hike up to a cave on the adjoining mountain, restaurants and groceries nearby, drivable to many of the islands locales—but even if you only get to nearby Chania, it’s such a charming town and well worth it. Stavros is the most gracious of hosts, very responsive and thoughtful, left us treats, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and he was full of helpful information to make our stay amazing. Wish we’d stayed here longer, honestly!!

Thanks Peter and his whole team for a great stay. The villa was in a great location, close to a couple good restaurants and markets; it was private, with only one other villa in the area with guests; and very comfortable. Both my wife & I and the other couple we were with felt we had privacy while on property since we split accommodations upstairs and down. Overall it was a great villa and wonderful vacation!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Appartement lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Blick aufs Meer hat uns besonders gefallen. Es ist alles in der Nähe was man braucht und in einem 30 minütigen Spaziergang entlang am Meer ist man in der Altstadt von Rethymno. Besonderen Dank an Pantelis, der sich um alle unsere Belang sehr freundlich gekümmert hat

We loved the large balcony that wrapped around the apartment . The sunsets were incredible from there. The outside & inside furniture was of a very good quality and it was great to be able to sit out in the evenings. Inside is very well designed, a great layout, the kitchen is very well equipped and the sofas are very comfortable, the view from the sitting room and kitchen has an incredible sea view . The bathroom is really spacious with a great shower and 2 basins , all of a high standard. The 3 bedrooms all a good size, had lovely views towards the old village and town built up in to the mountain . The bedding was of an exceptional quality. The apartment was so close to the beach & to the the old town. We had incredible meals at both. A bus stop at the end of the road and many supermarkets were great too. Both Phillipe & Michelle were excellent hosts, attentive & helpful, you couldn’t fault them. We loved our stay! Thank you!

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus acht Tage lang sehr wohl gefühlt, auf der gut verschatteten Terrasse eine erholsame Zeit bis tief in die Nacht hinein verbracht. Ioanna hat uns mit verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten überrascht, liebevoll und immer erreichbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder, um diese schöne Aussicht zu genießen.

Wir hätten uns den Aufenthalt nicht schöner vorstellen können. Ein absolutes Stück Paradies, ganz privat mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Wahrlich einzigartig! Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man braucht. Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, sodass man selber kochen und grillen kann. Alles ist sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl! Stella und ihr Ehemann sind unglaublich herzliche, gastfreundliche Menschen. Zu jeder Zeit haben sie ihre Hilfe angeboten und den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Sie überraschten uns gleich zwei Mal mit leckeren selbstgemachten Speisen, stellten Wasser, Obst und Frühstück bereit. Wir werden die beiden und den Ort nicht mehr vergessen und kommen sicher wieder. ❤️ Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

פאני היא אישה מקסימה והבית היה נוח ומפנק רגע מים נפלא. היו משחקים מוכנים לילדים וכל דבר שצריך לבישול. היי נו שתי משפחות ארבעה מבוגרים שלושה ילדים ושתי תינוקות והיה לנו הכי נוח. פאני דאגה להכל והעיירה הייתה נוחה עם מסעדות טובות וחנות יין קטנה עם הענבים מקומיים. מאוד מאוד ממליצה 🩷

Karolina und Jadwiga sind sehr angenehme Hosts und die Kommunikation zwischen uns war immer sehr schnell und hilfreich. Der Check-In funktioniert einwandfrei. Bei uns hat Google Maps jedoch das Nachbarsgebäude angezeigt. Jedoch ist die Unterkunft aussen angeschrieben und entsprechend findet man sie so. Die Unterkunft an sich ist exzellent: Moderne Küche und Bäder, schöne Zimmer. Und der Aussenbereich mit Liegen, Sonnenschirme, Tische, Stühle, Grillstellen und Strand ist phänomenal! Das einzige, das ein bisschen störend ist: Man ist direkt an der Haupstrasse und im Haus selber hört man diesen Lärm doch noch gut.

Manos and Christina were very friendly and responsive. All of our questions were answered promptly. The house was a little difficult to find at night but Christina was there at check in to show us around. At the house, there were supplies like eggs, lunch meat, bread, fresh fruit, olive oil , and a bottle of wine. This was greatly appreciated as we arrived after dark and it gave us some breakfast food for the morning. We loved the sound of the waves at night lulling us to sleep! The hosts also changed the bedding and sheets after a couple of days which was extremely thoughtful and generous. The house is close to many restaurants and has a few super markets near by. Close beaches were also nice and we enjoyed the peacefulness they provided prior to the big tourist season. Lake Kournas was beautiful and only about an hour drive from the house. Having a car was nice but not entirely necessary for the house’s location. Driving in Crete can be a little daunting but doable!

Cindy and I loved the feeling of sitting on the balcony…taking in the sights of Chania as bathers enjoyed the water and beach below us…and watching the sun set behind the light tower. Kostos was a fantastic host…friendly and helpful! The space was comfortable and clean…snacks and wonderful coffee. A wonderful choice for us!
