Wild Amboseli | Elephant cabin, kilimanjaro view

KellyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Was a great option to stay close to the park on locals land technically outside the park boundary but because there’s no fence you have direct access to the park! Park is great for self drive option and roads well marked and elephants easy to see. Comfortable 2 bedrooms and clean bathroom with hot water. Kitchen well stocked and water provided. Awesome sunrise view, Kili 1/2 seen during morning and evening :) We had a rented Land Cruiser, roads bumpy but very doable.

Little Tandala

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Little Tandala as a family with two children . Thanks to the wonderful staff and recommendations, we enjoyed a guided walk, a cinema night, spa treatments and booked Gilbert the chef to cook us delicious meals. The cottage is so comfortable with beautiful views. We spent time in the gardens, drawing, playing games and taking advantage of the pool. It was such an easy drive from Nairobi and the perfect peaceful escape from the city.

Olomayiana Camp: Private Retreat; Hiking; Horses.

BethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful place and ideal for several families. We stayed just as one family but would definitely return with a bigger group. Lovely tents and rooms and fantastic kitchen and view from the pool. The staff are very helpful and the riding was amazing- we did a 1.5 hour hack and the horses were incredibly friendly and calm.

Oldonyo Orok House

TimothyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A great place to stay. Getting there was quite a distance from the tarmac but the host was kind enough to send us a rider to guide us to the place. A 4wd is highly recommended with good clearance because the car we used had quite some challenges with the underside being scratched on the way there...we were even lucky it hadn't rained that much but its an all weather road. The place itself is very very peaceful, fully off grid. A little pool to coom you off with a sauna adjacent to it. Only challenge were the bees, beatles, wasps and flies....but thats expected being next to the wild. An indoor outdoor experience Will definately be what you get in this place. The hosts were very very helpful especially John.

Kichaka-Private Camp

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We were a large Group to host and they did this beautifully. Only thing better is it we could have stayed longer. So peaceful and beautiful. The pool, hike, and night time fire was relaxing and just what our group needed after a great week of working with Wings Aloft in several communities providing wheelchairs

Romantic couples retreat-Oldonyo Orok ecocamp

We had an amazing and memorable stay at the camp - being able to enjoy the serene and peaceful location, detaching from our phones, and enjoying activities and nature around us, not much more can be asked for. The tent was lovely, with great amenities, and a nice view of the mountain. Food was splendid and catered well to veg and non-veg. All staff were very hospitable and kind. Be sure the check out the pool, see the vegetable garden, visit the baby animals and explore the areas outside the camp - hike to the falls, cycle on trails, find new discoveries (thanks Naz!). We can’t wait to visit again and see how the camp grows!
