It is very close to the square, in the old part of the village. Elsa was very attentive even shared a 10% discount voucher in a restaurant.

It was not possible to stay in this accommodation because it was under maintenance, but they looked for an alternative for me near the square, the host's communication is outstanding.

We were under unique circumstances and Migue was able to accommodate our needs. Very thorough check in instructions, and he was communicating back and forth with us to ensure our stay was perfect. Loved this place. Migue even helped us find a ride at 4AM when we had to leave for train station. Only drawback is, it is a little bit far from the main plaza maybe a 10-15 min walk but otherwise its very peaceful and felt natural also right next to the river. Thank you so much I wish we couldve stayed for longer

Omar was an excellent host, he was attentive to us and at all times, he helped us that places to meet and then he approached us. the accommodation is a few blocks from the square, one from the archaeological center. the best of all.

It was an overwhelmingly beautiful experience: since the room is only separated from the jungle with mosquito nets, without windows, you get the entire noise at night, and can watch the many birds and butterflies during the day, also from the terrace or from the small kitchen. The host is extremely friendly and helpful, speaks very good English, has excellent biology skills and is committed to environmental protection. She took us to the numerous hiking trails that are laid out around the resort. It also took us to the bird watching spots in the area. We paid her for the time she took for us. Clean and new. Hard to find, but this should be corrected soon. In the djungel sometimes a bit adventurous drive, yet no problem for our (deep, 2WD) Toyota Yaris.

lodge by the river and terraces

We had an amazing experience thanks to René. From the first moment he was very attentive, picking us up promptly at the airport and making sure we felt welcome. The place was comfortable and immaculately clean, but what really made the difference was René as a host and local guide. His knowledge of the place's history is breathtaking; every conversation with him was a chance to learn something new. You can see their passion for their culture and for providing an authentic experience to their guests. We would definitely stay with him again. ¡Highly recommended!
