Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mansfield

I had booked this beautiful home for our wedding weekend. Shelly was super responsive and allowed us to check in early which was so appreciative. We also had our little dog with us (he was our ring bearer for the wedding) Shelly made it clear that the house wasn’t fully gated and I appreciated this. The place itself is gorgeous, beautiful clean rooms and decor and the greenery was so idyllic. I can’t wait to see my pre wedding photos that we took there as I think they’ll turn out beautiful! Thanks again Shelly, you were so responsive with my questions and so accommodating to our needs.

Within comfortable walking distance to town centre and eateries. Good secure double garage. Well appointed residence in a pleasant area. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully return soon.

Beautiful house and landscaped gardens, surrounded by farm and grazing cattle. The house inside is very stylish and comfortable with thoughtful pieces of art and furniture, the kitchen well equipped and spacious, perfect for hosting a group. The beds are really comfortable and plenty of space to unpack belongings, including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The location of the property is close to Alexandra, which is a town which seems to have everything you need plus good coffee shops. I’d definitely recommend this place to others coming to the area.

Bonnie Doon is already a absolutely great destination & Petes hideaway particularly was the best hideaway with the lot ive ever stayed at maybe our host Ryan had much to do with that too.thanks Ryan I left you a small list off your grocery things we used & ran out off. thanks to your welcome chat. Gorgeous little cottage that has been thoughtfully decorated and felt homely. Convenient location walkable to shops and local amenities but far enough to give a sense of the countryside. Good for a winter stay with electric blankets and heating. Highlight was the lovely big bath. Would stay again!

This was a lovely quaint house with old world charm. The house was spacious and very clean, with a great fenced in area for a furry friend. Spent hours relaxing in front of the fire, listening to the rain outside. Location is PEFECT. We strolled into town for dinner, coffee and some shopping. Host was great to communicate with, and was kind enough to put the heating on for our arrival. Overall, a magnificently relaxing long weekend in a comfortable, inviting home. We will be back

House was warm and cozy our French bulldogs loved the fire. Lovely generous hosts with breakfast supplies of croissants, fruit and eggs supplied. House was extremely well appointed. Photos don’t do it justice. Loved feeding the birds on the verandah each morning.

Vicky’s place was a great spot for our stop over. Had dinner at the pub and kept warm with a fire afterwards. So clean and tidy. Great little cabin.

Amazing stay. Thank you, Lynda & Andrew for proactively communicating and making sure we have our best time. I want to appreciate them, as they found my apple iWatch and offered postage facility. Thank you once again, we will see you in June 2026.

Chris is an amazing host, very communicative and had setup the house like I was family. The property is amazing and we made full use of the pool and hot tub. The scenery is stunning! The fireplace was exactly what we needed and we didn't want to leave. Will definitely be coming back!

It was great to stay at Kerrin’s cottage. The place has breathtaking views for sunset and is very close to Great Victorian Trail. Absolutely loved staying here.

Such a lovely, relaxing place to spend a weekend catching up with friends! The house was beautiful with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

Really nice place, incredibly comfortable bed and great range of pillows for people like me finicky about pillows. As we were there in the dead of winter, a very effective heater was also a pleasure to get back to. Veronica’s home-made muesli was a great treat too and it was a pleasure meeting her. Definitely would stay again.

Great weekend at Mansfield. The property was lovely, big enough for all 9 of us we felt we could relax and had no issues, the whole family including grandkids enjoyed the experience. Pool was great after a day on the boat at lake Elidon Overall terrific weekend away .

We enjoyed very much our stay at the 3BlackSHEDS. The accommodation is very neat and clean; the bed is cosy; and the place is peaceful. On top of these, Alan and Rowena got everything well prepared for a comfortable holiday away from home, yet just like at our own home. We love the food and beverages they supplied for breakfast: fresh, nutritious and delicious. The communication with them is also great, too, as Alan alway responded promptly and provided the supplies, answers and information we needed. All these reflected that Alan and Rowena are the caring and thoughtful host who made our holiday extra enjoyable.

Our large extended family (5 adults, 3 children and one dog) had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and was warm and cosy with many thoughtful touches. The gardens are beautiful and the setting perfect, just a short cycle ride from Mansfield and a perfect to end our family trip along the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

Andrews place was amazing we had a great time exploring around the vic high country and always had a warm dry and comfortable place to come back to.

'Micks place' - what a great space! Short walk to the local "Tatong Tavern' which is awesome for a drink and a meal. Furniture and style is welcoming and it all still looks like new. The beds are really comfortable as are the kitchen chairs. Excellent amenities and nice and clean We loved it, we will be back Trace and Co.

Jess's place is excellently located in Mansfield. It's just off the main strip, so you get to enjoy the serenity of the area, but you can also walk to the various restaurants and shops. The proximity to Mt. Buller is obviously a highlight, but exploring the rest of the area was also great. The house was perfectly clean, and had everything we could have needed for our weekend stay. Easily accommodated five guests with room to co-exist without it being cramped. Would highly recommend for an escape to the high country.

We had a wonderful night stay at Paul’s tiny house. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views of the countryside. Paul is a lovely host, very welcoming and easy to communicate with, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The tiny house itself was spotless and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Although there is one other tiny home on the property (around 15 metres away), it still felt private and secluded. We loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and taking in the lovely outlook from the deck. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a charming country escape.

The property is nestled in stunning Australian bushland, surrounded by incredible wildlife—we saw wombats, kangaroos, and even heard kookaburras singing their iconic laughter-like calls at foggy sunrise and sunset. It added such a magical touch to the experience! The neighboring property has a deer farm, offering a beautiful and unexpected view of deer grazing peacefully—something truly special to wake up to. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful artistic details like handcrafted baskets that gave it a warm, inviting feel. Rod, the host, was exceptionally kind—he even lit the fireplace an hour before our arrival, so we walked into a cozy, toasty home. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and comfort!

Had a great weekend with some friends at this homely, comfy and picturesque home. We were blessed with good weather and had a lovely time on the river. The house is not too far from town in Jamieson. My only wish was that there were other dining options outside of the General Store - as friendly as they were!
