Cottage holiday rentals in Mangaratiba

It is a house surrounded by nature and waterfalls, carefully decorated and well equipped. The weather changes quickly, oscillating between heat and cold. We went in the summer and it was still quite cold at night, and it is recommended to bring proper clothes. The 4 master bedrooms are great, there is only TV in one of them . Three are suites, the other with double bed has fireplace and one bathroom next door, which also serves for a fifth bedroom, small with a double bed. In the larger room, with a beautiful glass bathroom, there is air conditioning and ceiling fan. We don't need the air conditioning because it was cold at night, but when we try to use it, we found that it wasn't freezing. The refrigerator in the indoor kitchen is also not in the best condition, but in the end it took care of the message. The hydro is wonderful and warm, but it takes hours to warm up. The hosts are nice, thoughtful people, the caretaker is discreet and competent. It was a wonderful stay.

The stay was amazing. We took days of Sol which helped A LOT in the view. Everything matches the photos in your listing perfectly. Very proactive Marcelle, it answered everything quickly and accurately. We will return again and again, for sure. Since we only went with adults, we didn't have a problem with ANYTHING. Lincon welcomed us optimally, and promptly answered our questions during the stay.

Great stay, beautiful house and with an incredible look, I highly recommend the experience, worth every penny. The Milton host Milton was super solicited and helpful to me and my family, was available for the boat rides whenever I requested, a great host and a wonderful place!!!

There were incredible days, place and very cozy house, highlight for Maureni who welcomed us very well, super attentive and helpful. I recommend it and I'm already thinking about going back. As a suggestion, it would be interesting to have another refrigerator or a freezer, as the house has a lot of people, a refrigerator alone becomes small. Otherwise, everything is great, thank you very much to everyone involved!

We were in the chalet of Marta (Manacá da serra site) for the second time, first in winter and now in summer. We spent a wonderful week in the cozy chalet overlooking a beautiful and open valley, with bright but fresh sunny days and starry nights, a paradise. The chalet has improved since 2018, now has Wi-fi, which makes it easy for those who need to work or navigate (we use location apps well), as there is no cellular signal in the region. The kitchen is very small but very well-equipped, essential for those who will stay there a few days, isolated from restaurants and shops. Impeccable cleaning, comfortable linen and towels, furnishings in perfect condition. Great bathroom, very useful laundry area. The shower outside was perfect for a postwalk shower. The exchange of information and tips with Marta was excellent, it greatly facilitated the planning of what to take and rides in the park and surroundings. As we return, we recommend the cottage for couples and adventurers.

Solange was extremely helpful at all times. The old mansion is simple, but extremely spacious, charming and clean. Exactly as in the pictures. The area of the ranch is huge, extremely private and calm. Andrea, who helped us with the cleaning and cooking, is uniquely proactive. We really enjoyed the structure of the house and made a lot of mess, but Andrea was always there to keep everything organized and clean, making us comfortable 100% of the time! We will return whenever possible

We were very welcome by the family and especially thank Malu, Gustavo and Ney for all the support and attention during the stay. The house is simple, clean and very airy. The outdoor area is the highlight: it has gourmet space with pizza oven, barbecue, hammocks to rest and a beautiful view. Without counting the waterfall and trails within the property itself. An important warning: Access actually requires a 4x4 vehicle — the listing doesn't exaggerate. Thank you very much Malu, we hope to go back!

We traveled as a family and had a wonderful weekend. The place is beautiful, very well maintained, beautiful garden with many plants, and huge! Perfect leisure area. The rooms and the rest of the house were clean and tidy, with full kitchens. We were very well received from start to finish by the hosts Leonardo and Lucilene, helpful, always willing to help us. We had only a small problem with one of the showers that took a while to heat up, solved by Leonardo. Waking up to a set breakfast table and a delicious lunch made by Lucilene, who was very kind and helpful all the time, was great! It's really worth hiring both! The location of the ranch is very good, asphalt all the way to the door. Literally in front of it, the river flows, perfect for a beautiful walk and a swim. Suggestion for the owner: install shower heads in the toilets of the bathrooms. For those who have pets, know that there are 2 docile dogs on the premises. We love the stay and recommend it!

Wonderful accommodation, local mt cute and the homemade, Mr. Josué mt helpful. This year we are already organizing to return. It is exactly as in the pictures, a paradise. The house has a mosquito net, which helps mt at night. It is complete and pleasant mt, it has everything. There were bed linens, towels, kitchen items, games.. it was a pleasant mt surprise to find this place..

For the second time we were in the house and once again the stay was wonderful, very spacious and super comfortable, very clean, in the neighborhood there is everything you need nearby, market, pharmacy, bakery. All very attentive and helpful, from the owner to the caretakers. We will definitely be back again!

Great stay! The house is excellent and beautiful, it has all the necessary equipment. The only thing is that there are not two bedrooms with a double bed, but one with a double and one with two single beds. But it didn't bother me, I just think it could be clearer on the listing. Jaguanum is great, super quiet, it's my second time there and first time in Felipe's stay, I would definitely be staying there!

We spent 5 days in the House during the new year, and it was fantastic! About the Host: Cabbet is extremely helpful and attentive, from the first contact he explained everything, during his stay he stays in another house, but he is always ready to help us with all his joy, extremely dedicated to making everyone feel at home. About the house: the place is wonderful, all naturalistic, much more beautiful than in the pictures! The kitchen is complete with everything we may need and the very complete and tidy rooms too. We had a lot of fun and bathed in the lake and in the natural pool, made a trail around the property and we know the springs. The property has many different places to admire and enjoy nature! Everything is great! We'll be back soon!

We had a great reception and stay. We went in 7 people. We found the address easily. A beautiful and cozy house... very clean, complete, both in equipment and in bed, table and bath items. You feel at home. The owners are super friendly and receptive. When we return to Mangaratiba for sure we will rent this house again!!

It was a great weekend, beautiful and quiet place, the very attentive Host, highlighting the homeowner Neném, grade 1000 always helpful. The very good barbecue space, the site has several fruit trees and is quite wide, a ball show pool with the delicious water directly from the stream that passes by. Two negative points: 1 - It is the warmth at bedtime, even with the window open the fan does not flow, I went to sleep on the hammock myself on the balcony. 2 - It was the lack of power, but that is on account of the service provider. Overall note 9/10.
