Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mandello del Lario

We came to Rodero with my friend, his daughter, my parents and my family living in Singapore. As we come from very busy city we were looking for quiet and relaxing place with nature around. We are very happy that we found this in Riarel Apartments. At first it looks like place far away but actually 5 min drive, there is train station that takes you anywhere around region. So in the end we have been central to all interesting locations in North of Italy or South of Switzerland. We used train for family trip to Bellinzona and it was great experience. As we had 3 small children we appreciated possibility to use kitchen and garden - kids had so much fun there. Carlo- owner of Riarel was always very helpful and was able to give us great tips what to do around Rodero. Rooms were perfectly prepared for our arrival, clean, nicely furnished, with nice view and great design. If you are looking for nice place to stay out of busy and stressful city this is perfect choice. Highly recommended !

Lovely little apartment, with a beautiful view of Lake Como. A few nice restaurants nearby, but you do have to be relatively fit as there are hundreds of cobbled steps to and from any part of the town to the BnB! Worth it for the view but something to be mindful of when booking. Annalisa & her son, Ricciardo, were so helpful and quick to respond if we needed anything, and there was free local parking when needed. Thank you!

We had a very pleasant stay at Daniele’s house in Como. He was very helpful and responsive—he sent us a video guide for the self check-in and explained everything in detail, which made the process easy and smooth. The apartment is located on the second floor, please expect a few stairs to get to the house. However, the location is convenient, with both the train station and bus stop within walking distance. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provided breakfast and snacks. Thank you, Daniele, for hosting us—we really enjoyed our stay!

one of our best Airbnb stays, and we use Airbnb a lot. The house is amazing, set in a beautiful area and everything inside is so well organised. I would say the place is larger than it looks on the photos and very very cosy. Hosts did an excellent job and were so welcoming and easy to communicate. Loved it and would book again

Un accueil et un lieu merveilleux ! Encore merci à Ivana pour toutes les attentions et ce logement exceptionnellement propre et agréable. Un vrai havre de paix, qui permet à la fois de découvrir les montagnes lombardes et d’accéder au lac de Côme rapidement. Un des meilleurs Airbnb que j’ai pu faire !

ci siamo andati io e la mia compagna, Corinne é stata un ottima host. posto splendido, dintorni meravigliosi. la interno casa molto comodo e spazioso. piccola pecca ma non indispensabile, la notte fa un po' caldo, ma per il resto tutto super top. ci ritorneremo molto sicuramente. Corinne molto flessibile e disponibile a tutte le tue esigenze.

Monica und ihr Sohn haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit unseren viel zu vielen Koffern geholfen. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir eine kleine Tarte mit unseren Namen auf dem Esstisch gefunden. Monica hat uns Sachen fürs Frühstück und auch was zum Abendessen da gelassen. Eine Minibar (gegen Geld) gab es auch. Die Unterkunft war super sauber. Wir konnten uns toll über die Terrassen und den Garten ausbreiten und die tolle Aussicht genießen. Würden definitiv wieder kommen!

As described, this property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the lake. Tatiana and Beatrice are very approachable and responsive hosts. We checked in later than expected and so we were very grateful for the kind and thoughtful overnight supplies that had been provided. The drive up to the garage really is nothing to fear. There is a traffic light system in place to ensure that oncoming vehicles are not encountered on the way, and we drove a Peugeot 208 up there with ease.

Sara was very responsive. the place was very organized and instructions were very well described. I recommend staying at this place.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Davide für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der kleinen Traube! Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll gestaltet, gemütlich und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Kurzurlaub braucht. Die Atmosphäre lädt sofort zum Wohlfühlen ein – perfekt zum Abschalten und Geniessen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Benedetta was a fantastic host during our stay in Lecco, Lake Como! She was incredibly communicative and considerate, always making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was stocked with all the little touches that made our stay feel complete. You could tell she put real thought into every detail. Just a quick note: toiletries aren’t provided, but Benedetta responded right away with helpful suggestions on where to find them nearby. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Wir fanden unseren Aufenthalt sehr schön. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer guten Gegend von Como, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir fanden es toll, dass es einen privaten Parkplatz gibt, sonst wäre es mit dem parken schwierig. Wir waren mit unserem 1 jährigen Sohn unterwegs. Anna hat an alles gedacht und ein Babybett, sowie Babystuhl bereit gestellt. Vielen Dank dafür.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Das Gastgeberpaar waren sehr liebevoll, zuvorkommend und besonders aufmerksam im Umgang mit unserem Kind. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend – wirklich ein Highlight! Die Anfahrt war zwar etwas kompliziert, da die Straßen eng und steil sind, aber die Mühe lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Das Frühstück war liebevoll hergerichtet, sehr lecker und alles hausgemacht – der perfekte Start in den Tag. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und absolut sauber. Besonders schön ist auch der wunderschöne Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

From the moment we booked, Filippo demonstrated what it means to be a Superhost. Communication was consistently prompt, clear, and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome even before we arrived. Upon arrival, we were absolutely delighted. The Apartment was even more charming and spacious than the photos conveyed. It was impeccably clean, clearly well-maintained, and felt like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated the greeting, with his father picking us up from the station, and pointing out some key points of interest on the drive to the apartment. His mother also met us in the apartment and showed us how to use the cooker and the washing machine. She also baked an amazing tart for us. The location was perfect for our needs right on the lake edge in a quiet place and just a short stroll to Varenna centre. Highly recommended, we will stay here again on our next return. Thank you Filippo for making our stay amazing.

Absolutely amazing find. Beautiful old building, lots of charm and character. Bedroom was very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and fantastic. The breakfast was definitely the stand out and highlight it was exceptional. So much selection and amazing quality. Kept me going all day. Lidia was an absolutely wonderful host. I would certainly recommend this venue for anybody and I will definitely stay here again when I’m visiting. 🥰

Super verblijf gehad! We zijn 8 nachten geweest en we hebben genoten van de heerlijk koele kamer en het lekkere ontbijt. De keuken was los van de kamer, maar wel exclusief voor ons gebruik. Voor het ontbijt stond alles klaar waardoor je zelf kon beslissen hoe laat je wil ontbijten. De kamer en de hulp van Sara was super! Palanzo zelf is een leuk authentiek dorpje in de bergen. In het dorp zijn een paar restaurantjes aanwezig waar je goed kan avondeten. Let er wel op dat het vanaf het dorp 15 minuten rijden is naar het meer. Doordat het dorp op een berg ligt is het niet handig als je slecht ter been bent, je moet namelijk een stuk ophoog lopen naar de B&B. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen zeker een keer terug!

Yoko, Paolo, and their daughter were friendly and welcoming to their 400 year old home in Morcote. The attic room is spacious with its own living room besides bedroom. Steps from Morcote ferry, shops and restaurants, the location is ideal for ferry rides across Lake Lugano, exploring Morcote’s beautiful hilltop church with amazing views of the lake, and mountains of Lugano. Breakfast in the garden was a plus surrounded by Paolo’s garden and bonsais. Great chats and their local insights were spot on. Lovely stay and a joy to visit!

השהות שלנו בדירה של מרקו הייתה נהדרת! הדירה הייתה נקייה מאוד, מסודרת ונעימה, בדיוק כפי שפורסם. הצ'ק אין היה גמיש ונוח, וגם בצ'ק אאוט מרקו עשה מאמץ לבוא לקראתנו ככל שיכל. מרקו עצמו היה זמין, ידידותי וסבלני, ועזר לנו בכל דבר שרק רצינו – אפילו הזמין עבורנו פיצה והמליץ לנו על בר קוקטיילים מצוין שהיה בדיוק לטעמנו! לצערנו הוא היה בחופשה ולכן לא פגשנו אותו אישית, וגם לא זכינו לעיסוי שהוא בדרך כלל מציע לאורחים. במקומו קיבלו את פנינו ההורים המקסימים שלו – למרות שאינם דוברי אנגלית, הם קיבלו אותנו בחיוך ענק, עם לב רחב ונכונות אמיתית לתקשר ולעזור, מה שהיה מרגש מאוד. הסביבה של הדירה הייתה ציורית, שקטה ורגועה, עם נוף מקסים לאגם ותחושת טבע. יש סופרמרקט במרחק הליכה וגם תחנת רכבת וזה מאוד נוח. אנחנו בחרנו להגיע עם רכב, וזה בהחלט נתן לנו חופש תנועה וגמישות, אבל אפשר בהחלט להסתדר גם בלי רכב – תלוי בסגנון הטיול שלכם. בסיכומו של דבר – אירוח חם, אישי ונעים, בדירה שמציעה שלווה אמיתית. מומלץ בחום!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön mit einem super Ausblick. Es war alles da was man braucht und der Kuchen war sehr lecker. Paola ist super nett, wir würden wieder kommen. Unser Hund war auch willkommen :)

We can’t express enough how utterly gorgeous, fabulous and stunning the accommodation was. The hospitality, care and cleanliness of our accommodation was beyond our expectations. We can’t thank our hostess Carna enough for making our first ever visit to Como a remarkable one. She was super helpful getting reservations, food delivery orders, travel timetables and excursion bookings, making our whole trip effortless. We will not hesitate to recommend this spectacular trip and this accommodation to all of our friends and family. We will definitely be back.

An amazing apartment with breathtaking views! Waking up and looking at a mountain is not very usual... and getting a superb breakfast on top of that makes the journey very easily enjoyable. Francesco was a very friendly host who gave us good recommendations and made our stay as smooth as possible. Huge recommendation, this was a true hidden gem!

I only got to stay here one night and wish I was able to stay longer. It was a lovely airbnb in a beautiful location. Ettore Maria was very helpful and responsive. There was also an included breakfast area that was well set up and very good! The room overall was very cozy and peaceful. Very cool town and location at Lake Como and definitely worth your stay. I would definitely stay again in the future, but this time for longer!
