Our country home is built for comfort. This is where we bring our kids and our friends to get out of the big city and forget about it all. It is close to what Fouriesburg offers in terms of shopping, so in a town where you never drive far, we walk. Loads of friendly faces, be it the butchery or the pub. The structure is more than a hundred years old, and perfectly preserved. 4 big sunny bedrooms, a large patio, a gorgeous kitchen and a kitted TV room on a plot beset with fruit trees - heaven.

A bright, fully furnished studio cottage in a quiet, upmarket suburb halfway between Johannesburg and Durban. Central to exploring the treasures of the northern Drakensberg and NE Free State. Ideal for overnight stops; as an adventure base for the outdoor enthusiast; and for the academic seeking a quiet space for producing important works. Laze for days in front of the massive fireplace, or venture out and explore one of the 3 gorges. Start your holiday here on route to the coast or meet friends mid-way from JHB & Durban for a getaway or celebration, or a wedding at the little church just up the road. The best kept secret 2km off the N3 on the Van Reenen's Pass. We also have 2 cottages.

Nestled in the town of Winterton just below the Central Drakensberg is this lovely solar powered self catering flat. King size bed, single bed, kitchen, Wi-Fi, Netflix and undercover parking. Harrismith is the gem of the Free State, the gateway to the Drakensberg. You can fly fish on uncrowded waters, bird along forgotten back roads or just enjoy the peace and quiet of a country town.

Blooming Nice Stay offers bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation, and is situated in Harrismith in the Free State. The owner-run guest house is located close to the N3 and N5 highways.
