Family-friendly holiday rentals in Makrinitsa

Very good 1st floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood of Volos. Easy parking in the surrounding area. The property is spotless and beautifully decorated, it gives you a feeling of being hosted in a friendly house. The hostess was polite and communicative. Unique negative that there is no elevator for people with mobility needs.

I just want to give a big thankyou to Mike and Anastasia, what they have created here is beautiful. Our stay from minute one was just the most special thing, Mike greeted us with a big welcoming smile and was so helpful. Everything was spot on, Villa, pool, hot tub, surroundings were immaculate, and once we got there we felt at home straight away. We arrived there stressed and tired we left there invigorated and chilled. Try and get in the village if you can as well, it’s again something very special. We will be back 100% and I highly recommend that anyone should immerse themselves here, it’s wonderful. Thankyou so much Mike!

Immaculately clean, perfect location, and the definition of luxury. The pool and hot tub are spectacular! Private parking and 5-10 minute walk to all the hot spots in Skiathos. Chris was so kind and generous to us. He really takes great care and has great pride in his place. The furniture inside and out is extremely comfortable. High ceilings, high windows, truly a must see. Perfect for our honeymoon!

Beautiful house and a very private location. Views are breathtaking! Felt like at home as the house was well equipped and spacious. Amazing and very supportive communication. The most beautiful locations in Eastern Pilion are nearby such as Milopotamos beach, Fakistra beach, Tsagarada Platia. We really enjoyed our stay!

Benny was great at getting in touch and helping with questions before we traveled. On arrival, Benny had told us we would be met at the airport and given guidance on how to get to the property which all went smoothly. The property was in an amazing location, and was generally clean and tidy, with everything working. The property is fairly basic and functional , but we didn’t mind that. Some updates of beach chairs, and a few other tweaks wouldn’t go amiss. Benny’s advice about car hire and restaurants was extremely helpful. Both he and Mike were in touch during our stay to offer help if it was needed. On checking out, we couldn’t locate the bin area so didn’t quite know where to leave the rubbish. We would definitely consider coming back as overall, the balance of location, spec of the property and the price were spot on for our family holiday in late May. This is our second stay at this accommodation and we will try to book it again for next year as soon as we know the dates. There was a problem with the electrical supply (from outside of the property itself). We contacted the host and the problem was solved in remarkably quick time (involving several workers, a cherry picker, all replacing overhead cables). The hosts father kept us informed and made sure we were Okay. Such nice, friendly, helpful people who go over and above what is reasonably expected! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the flat. All the family were very kind to us and explained all the best spots and restaurants around. We loved the easy access to the Fakrista beach. Every morning, we woke up with a stunning view of the sea and then went to the beach in 5 minutes by car for an early swim. If you’re looking for a hidden gem to stay in the Pelion Region, book this flat, and you will have a lovely time in nature.

Incredible stay on the quiet part of Makrinitsa. The hosts were responsive and very helpful. Our host met us at the car park and helped us drive to the house which helped us navigate the country road. The house had everything we needed, it was well stocked, warm and clean. It’s a short hike down the path to the village. We used the barbecue and the fireplace. Makrinitsa is a beautiful village and it’s also easy to access nearby villages by car, such as Portaria or Stagiates. It’s a 35 min ride into Volos so you can be by the sea side if you fancy a break. Would highly recommend 💯

The floor, with a physiancée, thoughtful, classic for a Pelion house, but not heavy. Lovely fireplace to see, mansions and crafted bathroom. Very nice options in the colors of the walls and the style of the bedroom. The view to Volos is filling. Sparkling clean too. The only problem on the Internet for which the apartment is not responsible, as the data did not work well either, had a circular signal, at times. Because of this there was a problem with the gps on the way back in the evening soI suggest that no one comes back from Ano Meria, the gps is confused. It's a super easy from Iolkos. Handsome without general and Louisa helpful at both the beginning and end with the time facilitation at check out, very positive. The price is definitely the quality of the apartment in relation to the distance from Volos. It turns you on to go back for sure.

Our stay at Mrs. Katerina's wonderful accommodation will be unforgettable! Beautiful clean and well-maintained space! He took care of us with a lot of goodies from the place and made us feel at home! Everything was great to the last detail! Even the outdoor space was very thoughtful! Beautiful garden nice pool and breathtaking endless view! For those who want to relax while at the same time they want to go to shops and see the center! Perfect place for winter and summer! Comfortable clean well-maintained spaces with a lot of taste and passion! We will definitely go back to Mrs. Katerina's accommodation! It's worth going for several days for relaxation and fun! Mrs. Katerina, thank you so much for the instructions you sent us before your arrival, your wonderful hospitality and your honesty! The house had everything and more! All clean and neat! A very quiet and nice place with very responsive hosts to our requests. Although the inhabited AIRBNB description appeared to be equipped with MSR this does not exist in our cottage. This aspect was solved by the host immediately through the cleaning service of the complex where the house is located. A place to stay where it is very possible to come back.

This villa is spectacular. It’s very high up so an exciting 2Km trip up from the main road, steep in places with hair pin bends. Wonderful panoramic views. A lovely restaurant 50 metres away and a taverna 500 metres away. George responds quickly to questions. We would home to return one day. Very much

Excellent place. Very refined decoration. Breathtaking view. Fully equipped (nothing missing)! Only downside is the very small road to access the place (but in all fairness we never had any problem!). Highly recommended! We had a wonderful time.

We loved our stay at Skiathea Villas - the best AirBnb we've ever stayed in!! Filippos was the perfect host - he met us at the airport and drove us to the villa to check in, gave us lots of great recommendations and even some delicious homemade liquor. The villa is fantastic - exactly as pictured. Lovely pool area with very comfortable sofa bean chairs and incredible views. It's a real treat that the villa is cleaned daily by Mary and the pool is also cleaned daily. The recommendations from Filippos really made the trip special - on his recommendation we tried so many fab restaurants, hired a very fun 4 wheel drive car (highly recommended to explore the North side of the island) and went to some great beaches. He was always very responsive and friendly. The villa is up a dirt track road which is fine to drive in a 2 wheel drive car and a good walk if you're up for it. In walking distance there's some restaurants, a fun pool bar and a shop. It's about 15 mins drive to Skiathos town.

This is an amazing property of five beautiful apartments. The apartment that me and my wife stayed in was big and airy with air conditioning ( which is a must even in September ) and a small kitchenette and dining table.The room is well decorated to a modern taste. We had great views over Skiathos town as the property is located in the mountains above. Some might say it's very secluded but I would say it's private and very quiet we sat on the balcony in the mornings and could only hear the wind the crickets and the birds. Be aware though that you need a good hire car / ATV to get here although we did see the occasional taxi passing. The road up is concrete and very steep. The outside of the property flows well with a small round jacuzzi and a pool sunbeds, dinning tables, seats, hammock and sling seat. I did see children's swing, etc. The pine trees around the property shade it well but you can sit in the sun if desired. I must say a special thank you to Anna the maid she was brilliant
