House holiday rentals in Makkum

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

An all-round great house in the holiday de Krim. The house is in a quiet location, but also very central. The center of the park is only a few minutes' walk away, which is great with smaller children. The contact with Gerdi is very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a really nice vacation on Texel and would love to come back.

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

What an amazing place! So beautiful in the middle of nature and the house is really spacious enough for 6 people. Upon arrival, a high chair and camping bed were ready. We had brought a box with us for outside because of the decking, which is a meter higher than the ground around it. A nice bike ride and you are in Ommen. We enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognized objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back again to see more of the area.

We felt very comfortable right away and as three couples including a small child, we had everything we needed, enough space and a kitchen that left nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back :)

A very friendly welcome in a beautiful quiet Frisian place. Living in a well-kept old Frisian house, close to the water, has I liked it very much. If you are looking for relaxation, you are in good hands in Grou.

What a wonderful place! The house is spacious and light. Nice living room with spacious dining table. We enjoyed the sunny terrace by the water. Everything in the house is available for a comfortable stay. Nothing was missing. Dishwasher blocks, towels, made beds, coffee cups, everything was there. Children could subboard from home (sub brought by themselves). We rented a sloop in the area. We will definitely come back!

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic - you can look directly onto the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with great attention to detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing in the equipment. A small note for those with pollen allergies: There is a lot of nature in the area, which is beautiful - but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

Stayed in the house with my mom for a great long weekend. What a nice atmosphere and everything has been thought of. Extra special was Flo, the cat, which we immediately fell in love with. The church bell of the small church opposite is very intrusive in terms of noise and stands out especially at night. We took these for granted. Thank you for hospitality!

We felt very comfortable! Particularly positive to highlight: Hotze got us bicycles and brought them to the accommodation as well as picked them up again! Also a small attention (juice, snacks, chocolate) on arrival made us feel immediately comfortable! Great view from the terrace, everything very clean! We will be happy to come back!

The house is wonderfully located directly on a waterway. We would have liked to watch the beautiful sailboats passing by all day, if the great bike tours to the next towns had not lured us away. Andréia is a great host, very friendly and extremely uncomplicated. Thank you also for the short-term support with an e-bike. We will not forget the beautiful atmosphere with sunset on the jetty.

We were personally welcomed by our nice hostess Anke and we enjoyed our stay very much. The great big kitchen , the beautiful outdoor area and the many different rooms were perfect for our large group. The location is great, right on the canal and everything is within walking distance. Very nice location and a beautiful spacious house. It is only a short walk to the nearest sailboat rental and the view from the house was great! Glad the kitchen was complete with herbs and oil. Communication with host was quick and efficient. Definitely worth the repetition!

We stayed there with our family from Canada, 8 adults. This was a great place to explore the province of Friesland. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely yard to relax in. Wonderful neighbourhood and easy walk to get groceries. The only negative was that one shower and one toilet weren't optimum for 8 people. required some planning.

Had a wonderful stay! Nice space, lovely beds, comfortable house: lovely beds, in the kitchen everything you need, spacious outdoor space... Great that you can walk directly into the dune area towards the sea, and discover the whole island by bike. We enjoyed it!

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!
