House holiday rentals in Mai Châu District

I was bike touring and tired from the long miles. I enjoyed my two nights here and bicycling around Ba Vi. The room was very comfortable. It was also nice and quiet, very peaceful. Beautifully maintained gardens. I highly recommend and I will definitely revisit.

Great place. Wonderful value. Beds in Vietnam tend to be a little hard, but that is super common in this country. I saw some complaints about Kareoke, but we were fine on both Friday and Saturday nights. In general this place was great, we came in town for a half-marathon and had a wonderful weekend. We will probably stay here again for next year’s race! Thank you!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thai Homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.Staying here was so much more than just finding a place to sleep — it was about connecting deeply with the Thai minority culture in a way we never expected. The homestay itself is exactly like the pictures — beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Tam prepared amazing meals every day — full of local flavors, fresh ingredients, and love. Even though the family speaks little English, communication was never a barrier. We’ll never forget the grandmother weaving traditional scarves in the evening, her calm rhythm matching the serenity of the village. Or being offered fresh jackfruit and grilled bananas as we sat on the porch. Mr. Tunc took us hiking through the most breathtaking scenery — green rice fields, banana plants, bamboo water mills.. Yen helped us arrange a private driver from Hanoi to Pu Luong and back! Thanks a lot!

Very nice place and lovely host. Nice pool. To note - this includes breakfast! They do not speak English but with the help of Google translate, hosts helped and accommodated everything.

We loved our stay in the bungalow here. the view was incredible looking over terraced rice fields and mountains. It is very close to Hui Waterfall down a steep path. it was refreshing to go down for a swim in the waterfall pools. the family living on site hosting us were incredibly warm and welcoming. the food was delicious and it was so nice being amongst them playing with the children and watching the grandmother weave on her loom. Yén was very proactive in ensuring we were well looked after and happy on the lead up and throughout our stay. she gave great local tips and timings of local markets to visit. I was unfortunately quite unwell during our stay so had to stay at the bungalow one of the days but yen and the family checked in and even offered several times to bring me medicine. it was very appreciated. we slept very peacefully here to the sounds of the ricefields and frogs. Thank you for having us!!

Great and beautiful location! Beautiful interior and exterior design! Very responsive, friendly and helpful host. The people in Hoa Binh are among the friendliest people we’ve come across! We did miss some basic kitchen amenities like (wooden) spatulas, spices, good functioning scissors and bigger drying rack for dish washing(a big dish washer would be even better😉) and kitchen towels(which were provided when we requested them). Overall had a great time here with my friends and definitely will come back!
