We had a wonderful stay at Agata's place. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown, just steps from the fortress. Agata and her husband Valantis were incredible hosts, always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. Valantis even helped us find a parking spot when we arrived, which was a relief. Highly recommend!

Wonderful, kind and knowledgeable host. It was such a pleasure meeting Mihalis. His home is beautiful, it is really spacious, has secure underground parking. You can ride the elevator from garage up to where the front door is. That was the coolest. The home has the most amazing view. Pictures are accurate but they don't do it justice. The view is unbelievable. Comfortable couch and beds, very clean, stocked with amenities, you'll want for nothing. Mihalis was even generous enough to stock us with water and very good oranges. Several Restaurant choices in both directions and great clothing shops just 200 ft up the road. It's going to be tough to beat this BnB compared to future others. We were so sad to leave. Can't recommend it highly enough. Like us, you'll have no regrets.

Wir sind nun wieder zuhause und haben die Zeit etwas reflektiert. Von Check in bis Check out einfach der Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Regelmäßig stand von der Familie Traditionelles Essen vor der Türe. Zu Beginn wurden wir auch damit überrascht. Wir hatten nen tollen Mietwagen und sind damit etwas die Gegend erkunden gefahren. Die Unterkunft liegt dafür perfekt. Ca 1 std vom Flughafen Heraklion und alles andere erreichbar. Würden wir immer wieder buchen.

Appartement calme donnant sur un champ d'olivier, doté de tout le nécessaire (éviter ceux avec vue sur la mer, car proche d'une voie à grande circulation). Arrivée flexible: clé disponible dans une boîte à clés. Petite attention à l'arrivée (ouzo, jus de fruits). Le double lit (plutôt qu'un lit double) est une bonne idée (permet de mieux dormir). Parking possible sur l'allée bétonnée, ou dans l'oliveraie. Hôte réactif (dépannage électricité suite à disjonction dans un temps raisonnable, malgré l'heure tardive).

Maria is a fantastic host. She met my husband and me at the bus stop and showed us around the apartment and neighborhood, giving us recommendations for dining and things to do. Her apartment is located in the heart of Old Town just steps away from the waterfront, great restaurants (we especially loved Tamam), and shopping. She stocked the apartment with everything we'd need for our visit, including beach towels, breakfast items, candy, guidebooks, and more. The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable in a charming building. Despite a decent amount of foot traffic nearby, it was quiet at night. We had the best sleep of our 10-day trip to Greece during our three-night stay. I can't recommend Maria's place enough for a visit to Chania!

Apesar de termos marcado para 3 pessoas e apenas estar preparado para 2, o anfitrião foi muito rápido e prestável a resolver o problema! Quarto e condições muito boas :)

Nous avons absolument adorées notre séjour au Penthouse. Nous sommes un groupe de 3 couples avec deux bébés. La disposition du logement était parfaite. Nous avions chacun une chambre avec salle de bain et balcon ce qui nous permettait de tous avoir un peu d’intimité. Le logement est très bien insonorisé également. L’hôte avait laissé avant notre arrivé deux lits de bébés avec plusieurs couvertes chaudes et propres à l’intérieur, ainsi que deux chaises hautes bien équipées. Il y avait même quelques jouets pour bébé. Que dire de la propreté des lieux. C’était tout simplement parfait. Après quelques jours, nous avons même eu droit à un ménage complet et en profondeur des lieux. Finalement, le localisation est plus que parfaite. Vous êtes situés au abord de la vieille ville. Vous sortez du Penthouse et à quelques pas seulement vous y trouverez d’excellent restaurants, cafés et boutiques. Le port en soit est à seulement quelques minutes de marches. WoW je recommande vivement!

From the initial booking through checking out, everything was amazing! Maria is a fabulous hostess - proactive and responsive. She greeted us with out-of-this-world homemade chocolate chip bread and showed us all the wonderful features of the house. Anything we wanted to know about Crete, she had so much information. The house itself has many extras - 3 types of coffee, condiments, any kitchen item you would want, dishwasher and laundry pods, plenty of extra towels, beach towels, the list goes on! Having a private parking spot was especially nice. I would highly recommend Maria’s place to anyone wanted an oasis for their stay on Crete.

We fell in love with this apartment and Manos hospitality five years ago and came back 6 times since then. Already booked the next stay before we left. It’s an amazing place created with passion and care. Clean, quiet, beautiful architecture, lovely interior and the most caring host I ever met on Airbnb. We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

Fantastic place in a perfect location, with the best view terrace in Matala! We loved it! A couple of things to note from previous reviews: The indoors are cozy, perfect for a couple, but you will be spending your time on the very spacious terrace overlooking the water across to the caves. Amazing! There is no kitchen, just a fridge and hot plate, but the town is full of great and affordable restaurants. Yum! There is music below at night, but it is not too loud or "thumpy," and we slept comfortably with the windows open listening to the music mix with the waves. Lovely! If you are thinking of just day-tripping to Matala, I urge you to think again because the night life is a big part of the fun. And George's place is perfect to enjoy it. Built into the hillside, giving the feel of the hippie caves but with the luxury of a comfy bed and bathroom--and that terrace!--we couldn't be happier with our choice. If you have a hippie soul, you will love charming Matala. Efcharisto, George!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L'appartement est bien équipé, fonctionnel avec une vue magnifique de l'appartement et bien sûr de la terrasse. Nous conseillons vivement.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Hatten schöne 9 Tage in Rethymno Die Unterkunft war sauber bei Ankunft .. leider war der Whirlpool das Wasser nicht so sauber und auch der Außenrand … Die Dusche hat in den Fugen leicht Schimmel könnte man überarbeiten aber sonst konnten wir nicht merken Die Lage ist perfekt / hatten ein Auto direkt am Flughafen/ Die Altstadt ist zu Fuß easy zu erreichen und Mega schön ! Ein Lidl und andere kleine Supermärkte Kiosk ist alles auch um die Ecke. Mit dem Check in hat alles super geklappt … Die Mülldeponie hat uns gar nicht Gestört, war nicht laut und kein Geruch oder Ähnliches was andere beschrieben haben

Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

Perfect location in Chania, literally in the middle of the action of the old town. Every restaurant on our list was a short walk away. It was very easy to stop back at home to freshen up and go back out at any time. The house itself is meticulously renovated with a luxurious modern feel, yet still preserving the elements of the 500 year old history of the house. Three floors, two bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms. There are four outdoor spaces if you include the ground floor patio which we enjoyed sitting and listening to the music of the bar next door. The hosts are very helpful and their family’s beach club is the nicest one on Paralia Agia Marina. We spent almost a full day there. We rented a car for two of our days to get to the beaches and Nancy showed us where to park for free for extended periods. You can park closer for a fee, and the pedestrian street is open to cars early in the morning so I was able to drive right up to the door to load out. I would definitely stay there again.

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Athina was super helpful and communication was outstanding. The location couldn’t have been better for central old town close to many restaurants, shops, coffee shops, cafes and the old port. Brilliant. The accommodation was superb, immaculate and well serviced every day. The Jacuzzi / plunge pool will be perfect for the sweltering Cretan summer heat with a lovely courtyard. All in all very highly recommended.

To przepiękny apartament, zaprojektowany z wyjątkowym smakiem. Przestronne i bardzo czyste wnętrze, piękna i bardzo funkcjonalna kuchnia, urokliwe patio z drzewkiem cytrynowym. Doceniłyśmy też bardzo wygodne łóżka, dostępną klimatyzację i wiatraki oraz dwie wygodne łazienki. Mieszkanie znajduje się przy cichej i spokojnej uliczce, ale wszędzie jest stamtąd blisko - zarówno do plaży Nea Chora, jak i do portu weneckiego, starego miasta, centrum etc. W bliskiej okolicy (kilka minut piechotą) są też duże markety spożywcze, takie jak Synka czy Sklavenitis. Kontakt z właścicielem jest doskonały. Nie było też głośno, o czym wspominali poprzedni komentatorzy - dzieci na górze chyba trochę dorosły, a psy się wychowały i nie było hałasów :). Drobne minusy do poprawy: w kuchni nie ma nawet solniczki i pieprzniczki - co zwykle jest standardem na Airbnb. Brak też herbaty, nie ma zapasu papieru toaletowego czy nawet worków na śmieci - trzeba się na to przygotować :).
