Cabin holiday rentals in Magazine Mountain

Both the place and the experience were lovely. The views from the porch are spectacular- great place to relax. The cabin itself was sparkling clean and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The beds are super comfy. There are numerous options for hikes, swimming, and fishing nearby. Finally, Jodean is incredibly kind and responsive.

My family was in town for a wedding at the nearby Heritage Acres Venue. It was only 10 minutes from our cabin so the location was perfect for us. The view of the forest through the floor to ceiling windows as you walk through the front door is stunning. The cabin was super clean and the back patio was the perfect place to relax. Side note: if you like to bird watch you will especially love it. We stayed in early June and saw summer tanagers, indigo buntings, black and white warblers, Kentucky warblers and many more beautiful birds. We loved it!

The hideaway cabin is just what the doctor ordered. Being caught up in the hustle and bustle of life my partner and I needed a weekend filled with peace, nature and to feel right at home. The hideaway cabin took our breath away as soon as we entered, from the decor, to the little details that Kathryn left remembering it was my birthday really lit me up. The neighbors dogs were so welcoming and always gave us some friendly cuddles. Would love to come back to the hideaway cabin as soon as possible. Thank you so much for having us! It was a weekend my partner and I will never forget.

Loved the cabin, perfect place for me and my wife to stay during the visit of my hometown. No disturbances. Can see residence across road and below cabin when pulling in to cabin access road. AC worked great, hot tub was very nice, wood stove on porch for colder months is a great plus. Fire pit 30 yards from house and wood ready to burn. We stayed for over 5 nights and it was a great time. No complaints. Thank you Jennifer!

The cabin was beautiful and it has a feeling like home! It was very comfortable and peaceful! My husband and I sat in the hot tub under the stars and it was beautiful! The view of the mountains is breathtaking as well! Evan was very responsive and friendly.

My wife and I loved this cabin! We stayed here for our 11th wedding anniversary. It was just the place we needed for some peace and quiet and quality time together. We loved the rocking chairs on the deck/porch, the bedroom jacuzzi, and just the overall layout of the home. It was definitely a memorable stay!

I was blown away by our stay at Petit Jean! We found our cabin very late due to being with friends but Deanne’s specific directions made it very easy. When we came in it was one of the most clean spaces we’ve ever stayed in. It was super cute, it had all the little touches of home including things like Q tips, washing machine pods, plenty of towels, seasonings to cook with etc. We loved how quiet it was and very private even tho we did have one set of neighbors. My husband was very impressed and said we’d stay at this exact location again- he’s never been an Air bnb fan until recently-so this was huge! The price was very reasonable, which we loved. I’ve already recommended it to 3 friends who saw our pics and wanted to stay here. You will want to stay here again and again. I promise you don’t be disappointed!

This cabin is one of the most beautiful and peaceful settings of anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything was as described and as it should be…and then some! The hosts thought of everything! There were books to read, games to play, seating everywhere, kitchen filled with everything you would need, lots of extra bedding and towels! My parents came and parked their RV out front and we had 8 other people total. We had such a lovely time just hanging out and being together. Highly recommend!

Very cool remote and off grid cabin. If you're looking for a true Ozark experience, don't hesitate, beautiful surroundings and wildlife, deers everywhere, great fire pit, awesome trails to hike in the woods, and super friendly host. Bring your own supplies, enjoy a few days of relaxation, and get back in touch with nature. Will definitely try to come back.

We were here for eight days and very happy with everything from the first communication to check-out. Excellent hosts who truly thought of everything you might need. Lots of “extras”. Especially loved having wood provided for the fire pit. Very unexpected! Can’t wait to return.

The cabin was just as described and perfect for our weekend getaway. Great location with easy access to local stores as well as the scenic views from Mt. Nebo. We reserved this cabin to have bridal pictures made at the top of the mountain for my daughter’s upcoming wedding and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay.

First & foremost.. the host was very informative about their place & the surrounding areas, etc to explore! Not to mention their responsiveness to addl questions we had during our stay. Secondly.. their attention to details.. not only did they have excellent pots & pans but everything you might need in the kitchen & well thought out “other things” that most AIRBNB rentals don’t have. The great endless supply of hot water meaning you don’t have to wait to shower is a big plus in my books! Both AC splits did an excellent job both upstairs & down! The beds were very comfy as well. Screened in porch was spectacular!! Not only were the views amazing but so many extras..mini fridge, bar area, party lights & more! Lastly.. I messed up on our check out date..ugh. Our host was so very kind about my mistake & made adjustments to his schedule to accommodate us! A HUGE THANKS to our host for sharing their amazing place with us! 10+Stars! The owner was very communicative and helpful. He was responsive to our questions about the area and gave us great advice. Our stay, which included two families (total of 10 individuals) stayed very comfortably in this space. We enjoyed being able to cook out and do a campfire/smores with the kids. Firewood was available with a fire pit, which was convenient. The kids loved playing games in the game room when they needed something to do. The porch had a picture perfect view of the mountains, and we loved being able to lounge, have coffee, and chat. Our trip to Falling Water Falls was a huge hit with everyone. We swam there most of the day and explored the area. Anyone traveling in this area should be aware of ticks and how to prepare/manage while exploring the area. Overall, we would love to return.

Great place to stay for a weekend motorcycle trip. The cabin was spotless and well appointed. We had everything we needed. We thought it would be more private from the photos but turned out we were in the owners front yard. It ended up not affecting our privacy, though, and was advantageous to have them on site. The were great hosts and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Cooper's Cabin. The view from the wonderful back porch is spectacular. We all enjoyed the hot tub. There was lots of space to hang out and play inside and out of the cabin for my family of 5. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. In addition, the cabin is close to so many great hiking trails and close to the Buffalo River for canoeing/kayaking/swimming. Great getaway! We highly recommend!

This cabin was the perfect getaway—tucked away in the woods for total privacy, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. The hosts were amazing and made sure everything was just right. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it! Highly recommend.

The location, setting, and home was perfect. Easy access, but felt secluded. Seating/relaxing areas available everywhere. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and then took in evening showers on the covered portion. The home was fully stocked with everything. Decor is curated but comfortable. It felt like home. Amber was proactive and everything was communicated clearly and accurately. We will certainly stay again when in the area!
