This is a great farmstay with an area of 6400 sqm, located in the Mae Rim area of Chiangmai, that will keep you away from the hustle and bustle of the city crowd.We have a main building, two annex buildings, 5 rooms, one of the annex buildings is a yoga room, and the other side is a guest room, a Thai-speaking aunts and parents live here. There is a temple next to the homestay and a large patch of rice fields as surrounded by a wetland park.Here, you can feel the whole process of rice, from planting to harvest, three times a year, perfect for those who really want to blend in with nature, want a vacation leisure or meditation. The accompanying farm has brunch restaurant, there is also a cafe, 40 km from Chiangmai airport, 1 hour drive, some small local local restaurants around, an elephant camp within 10 minutes drive, and small waterfall.

The place was mega beautiful and traditional. It was quite secluded just the way we wanted it. Unfortunately, Nook was not always there and was represented by her mother, who unfortunately did not always radiate the same kindness as everyone else. In addition, Nook was the only one who could speak English, which made small talk or recommendations in the area difficult when she wasn't there.

Absolute Thai Hillside Villa (2 BR) midvalley-New!

We enjoyed our time at Absolute Thai Hillside villa. We rented 2 villas for our group. This villa was very cozy and charming. Staying in December there was no need for AC but it was an option. Keeping in mind that this is in rural Thailand the simple amenities are appropriate. Additionally, the compound grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed swinging on the swings, exploring the grounds, taking lots of pictures and enjoying dinner at the large communal kitchen. there's not much within walking distance (a few mom-n-pop type stores), but a 7-11 is a short drive and plenty to explore in this area (check out mok fa waterfall nearby). The property care takers were very helpful addressing any issues and giving suggestions on what to do.
