The house is great, very comfortable and has a lot of thoughtful touches. The estate is in a privileged place if you like tranquility, it also has routes in the simple surroundings to do with children. Outside they have tables and chairs in many spaces to be able to change as you want sun or shade. The pool looks great, although it made us bad and we couldn't try it. Kitchen appliances and utensils or BBQ/fireplace are of quality. The only "but" for some may be the access if you have a low car, for cars with a normal height no problem. We are already looking for a date to be repeated.

Excellent, beautiful house, attention to every detail, and unbeatable service from Adam, attentive and friendly, making sure we had the best stay possible. We will definitely repeat. To disconnect and sleep well, a walk is ideal.

We have spent the Ponte de Mayo at the Apartamentos Embalse de Orellana and we could not have been more at ease. The reception staff was very attentive at all times, giving us tips for restaurants and excursions in the area. In addition, our dog was bad and we had to take her to the veterinarian, and the lady who was at the reception (I don't remember if I name) even recommended us several in the area that were trusted. Being close to the Orellana reservoir you can also take advantage of taking walks in the area and in summer it has to be very nice to be able to go by boat there or bathe. What we appreciate is also how close it is to several iconic sites such as Guadalupe or Trujillo. It is an ideal distance to combine relaxation with some culture. We will definitely repeat on an upcoming trip to Extremadura.

What a considerate and conscientious host Vanesa is! I pestered her about safe parking arrangements for my motorbike so much, I would have told me to make alternative arrangements if I was her! But no, she put up with me kindly and considerately, and I'm glad she did. Her house is authentic and traditional, is very clean, has plenty of space, and my bed was one the most comfortable I've slept on in years! I liked the look of the town, and though I didn't get time to, I'm sure it would be a lovely place to explore. The best compliment I can pay is that I'd happily return at any time and probably will. Oh, and my bike was safe and secure in its parking space! Thanks Vanesa, you're great!

We had the most fantastic stay, the house was wonderful and I’d highly recommend. We went with small children and it was a breeze and had everything we could possibly want. The garden is super and pool was fab.

The house is spectacular, very spacious, comfortable and perfectly equipped with everything you need and more, for the 11 people we were and our dog (barbecue, paella, several hair dryers and all kinds of kitchen utensils). Communication with both Beatriz and Rocío was perfect and easy. We enjoyed the house so much both ourselves and our pet. It allowed us to rest and disconnect. We'll definitely repeat it.

What a fantastic place! Carmen and her family were perfect hosts welcoming us to the amazing Dehesa. It is a fully working farm with Iberian pigs among the oaks and sheep ranging about. There are incredible walks all around the extensive property with stunning views over the surrounding landscape. The apartment is stylish and perfectly comfortably with a great kitchen for cooking in. Having lunch on the giant terrace was a daily highlight. The night sky is not to be missed either, stars visible from horizon to horizon. Carmen and her father had lots of good tips for sites to visit in the area—many amazing Roman ruins and towns to visit. But why would you leave paradise?! This is truly a unique and magical place. And don’t miss their own jamón!

The place is beautiful and is located in a very bucolic area, it is designed and decorated with a lot of care and there is no lack of detail. It's a real pleasure to have breakfast on the deck. The road to access the village is in good condition considering it is a Natural Park, the village is very small but has several bars and shops to buy the basics. I recommend for those who stay here that you are going to do the boat tour in the Tagus, take a hiking trail visiting the cave paintings and the ruins of Monfragüe castle and make a night visit to the Astronomical Observatory (you can go from the house walking). Also as a warning to the urbanites that you are thinking of hosting, the house is very well equipped with some windows with great insulation power, closed you can't hear anything but if you open them to sleep you may be awakened by the roosters and sheep of the estate in front. There is air conditioning. The coffee maker works with ground coffee.
