Family-friendly holiday rentals in Madrid

We spent a week in Pilar's beautiful home. The location is easily walkable to the metro restaurants, museums etc. We enjoyed eating at the various restaurants nearby -- none more than a block or two from the apartment. Havana Blues (two blocks from apt) for cuban sandwiches, La Princessa on the opposite corner from our block apt for amazing dolmas, chicken shawarma and belly dancing. The mercado is two blocks away for cheese fresh seafood and vegetables. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Pilar gave us a personal overview of how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked. We probably spent most of our time out on the terrace, which also has a cute little sleeping cottage. There is a large retractable awning to offer shade in the hot part of the day. We sat outside every night and the large conversation couch offers plenty of seating. Pilar is a lovely host and is extremely responsive. We highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay! We very much enjoyed our time in Madrid and felt right at home at Maria Eugenia’s place. It was a great, open space and very comfortable! I would recommend to all! The area itself was in a great location, with everything just around the corner. Our host was very helpful in recommending local spots and so friendly. Thank you so much Maria Eugenia. Apartment was spacious, clean and in a great location. We struggled to understand all directions because check-in was with a different person who did not speak English though all other communications were in our language.

This is a fabulous location, central to the Madrid art triangle of museums and with excellent transport access via Atocha train station, the express airport bus from there and multiple Metro stops. But walking is easy from here to many Madrid attractions, and more importantly you are surrounded by great restaurants and the Mercado Anton Martin market. Despite this the area is also peaceful as you are on the third floor well above the local streets, so it is a stylish refuge when relaxing after exploring Madrid

We chose this spacious apartment just for the two of us—my husband and I—drawn in by the photos, natural light, greenery, and glowing reviews. It turned out to be a wonderful decision. The apartment is within walking distance of nearly every major spot: El Prado, Reina Sofía, Plaza Mayor—you can walk everywhere! Alicia gave us excellent local restaurant recommendations, and the area felt safe to walk at any hour. Despite its central location, nights were peaceful and quiet. Alicia, Cristina, and Mario were incredibly kind—helpful, friendly, always available. They even let us store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, keeping it in a special place, which made our travel logistics so much easier. There’s a school right across the street. The sound of kids playing during recess? Let’s just say it was the most soft and charming alarm clock we could’ve asked for to beat our jet lag and get out to enjoy Madrid. Honestly, it felt like dear friends had lent us their home.

Loved this apartment—comfortable, well equipped and very clean, great location close to La Latina metro. Would be a ‘5’ all around if Lorena his co-manager could have provided a map we could use to find recommended bars and restaurants (as some of the hosts at our AirBnB have done for me before) and had been available to come down to let us in at the appointed time (2pm). We had to wait on the street for a few minutes. Be aware you have to climb 74 steps their apartment — no lift. Prepared us for our Camino walk. Thank you for a great Madrid experience.

Ha sido muy agradable estar en el piso de Nieves. Siempre pendiente, todo limpio y ordenado y una casa bien grande y funcional.

This was a wonderful stay. Julio Victor was incredibly communicative, so check in was easy and flexible. We felt at home right away and he even had the apartment ready three hours early for us which was nice since we were jetlagged. The apartment was cute, convenient and it had all the listed amenities and more. He even provided lots of water bottles for us, showed us how appliances in the house worked, and have us many helpful local recommendations. Also Julio and his family let us store our luggage in their apartment upon our early 8am arriva,l and then brought our bags to the AirBnB for us (this was so sweet). He went above and beyond to make this such a great stay!

Enriques Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie war sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, Enrique hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet.

L’appartamento è al secondo piano di un bel complesso residenziale, con presenza di portiere sia la sera tardi quando siamo arrivati, che la mattina presto, quando ce ne siamo andati; l’appartamento è adatto per quattro persone, con due bagni e cucina ottimamente attrezzata. Appena al di fuori del complesso residenziale c’è la fermata del bus numero 20 che porta in centro (Plaza del sol); e a 350 m distante, c’è la fermata metropolitana ( Conde de Casal) per arrivare in qualsiasi parte di Madrid. Francisco è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle nostre richieste e, tra l’ altro, parla bene l’ italiano.

Great apartment and nice pool area. Host was incredibly helpful and kind, allowing us to use to pool after check out. The only issue we had was that the WiFi wasn’t great, signal was often quite weak. Other than that it was fabulous!

Muy bien equipado y limpio. Muy buen espacio de trabajo. El anfitrión nos dejó ingredientes para desayuno, incluyendo máquina de café. A diez minutos de la Gran Vía de Majadahonda, llena de restaurantes. A dos minutos de la autovía M-503.

La ubicación es inmejorable, muy cerca de la Puerta del Sol y la Plaza Mayor, ideal para explorar la zona. José fue muy amable, nos permitió hacer el check-in más temprano y se mantuvo siempre en contacto durante nuestra estadía. El departamento es espacioso y tiene todas las comodidades que se mencionan en la descripción, lo que hizo que nuestra estadía fuera muy cómoda. Éramos tres personas y nos sentimos muy a gusto. En general, tuvimos una gran experiencia. Lo recomiendo y definitivamente volvería!

Vicente est un hôte parfait, il fait tout pour qu on se sente bien. la maison est grande, nous étions 6 et c était impeccable ! il y a tout comme à la maison (serviette, gel douche, tous les ustensiles de cuisine et de quoi faire le petit déjeuner). Le métro est à 12min à pied et compter 50min environ depuis l appartement pour rejoindre le centre via le métro. vous aurez la quiétude en arrivant à l appartement. Terrasse super agréable !

Appartement très bien situé, proximité directe de la gare Chamartin (2min). L'appartement est très propre, fonctionnel et agréable , la literie confortable . Je recommande à 100%.

Très bel appartement, exactement comme annoncé et silencieux. Très bien situé à l’extérieur du centre touristique, donc plus tranquille, et près de plusieurs stations de métro. Beaucoup de restaurants et des épiceries dans les environs. Je recommande fortement.
