Apartment holiday rentals in Madeira Island

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

Marco war immer sofort erreichbar. Einmal haben wir unsere Schlüssel in der Wohnung gelassen und Tür zugemacht, aber da hat uns Marco auch sofort geholfen. Vielen Dank 🙏 Der Fussboden hat geknarrt, das einzige hat uns einbisschen gestört. Ansonsten, super Ort, zum Strand hatten wir es 5 Minuten zu Fuss. Nur zum Empfehlen.

Chouette appartement, bien équipé et spacieux. Propre et bien situé par rapport à nos déplacements sur l'île. Le centre de Camara de Lobos se fait en 15 minutes à pied par le tunnel. Petite attention à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons vivement.

Very nice place with much more room than in a hotel. You will need some airpieces because it is in the city. So if you are not used to city noises that helps. Big bathroom, big sleeping rooms a big livingroom and practical kitchen. A nice bakery right next to the apartment and very easy to walk to points of interest in the city.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything exceeded our expectations — the place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. There were so many thoughtful touches: not only the essentials, but also extras like a high-quality blender, a coffee machine, and a generous supply of towels and toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The views from the apartment were stunning, and getting there was easy thanks to the convenient location and good access by car. One of the biggest advantages was the free underground parking spot, which was reserved just for us — a huge plus, especially in a busy area. Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. We would definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay!

The apartment was is a quiet neighborhood and the view was exceptional. The communication with Vasco was easy and quick.

We had a great stay at this nice apartment! We enjoyed the view from the balcony every day and loved it so much. We missed some amenities in the kitchen (cheese grater for example, more plates, cups etc). The location is fine, close to the airport and a great starting place for hikes all around the island - you have to have a car though! The neighborhood is not really nice, you can't really go for a walk or get somewhere by foot. Still, we enjoyed our stay a lot!

Wir haben in dieser Unterkunft 4 Tage verbracht. Man kommt schnell mit dem Mietwagen vom Flughafen zur Unterkunft und wir haben immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend groß für 2 Personen und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Andreia ist eine wirklich tolle und liebe Gastgeberin die sich sehr viel Zeit nimmt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Maria’s 8th-floor apartment was perfect! Super clean, spacious, and the balcony had amazing views of the marina, Santa Catarina park, and the city. It has two bedrooms — one with a double bed, the other with two singles — both with private bathrooms and closets. There are three bathrooms total, all spotless. The kitchen had everything, plus a dishwasher and coffee machine. Laura, who welcomed us, was so kind and helpful. She messaged me before arrival, arranged parking, explained everything in the apartment, and even brought us a big bottle of water and fresh coffee capsules the next day. She also gave great local tips. The building has great security and private parking. Honestly, the whole stay was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira — close to everything!

Correu tudo bem, conforme me foi comunicado. Superou as espectativas pela localização e toda a zona envolvente. Já partilhei com amigos e familiares para caso pretendam conhecer a ilha usufruírem desse espaço formidável. Farei todos os possíveis para lá voltar.

Estança meravellosa a Madeira. Amfitrions exemplars, que ajuden a millorar la teva experiencia a la illa, amb informació, recomanacions i interès perque gaudiu. Son molt simpàtics i propers en el seu tracte. Respecte a l'apartament és exactament el que s'anuncia, petit pero amb totes les comoditats i molt recomanable per pasar uns dies en parella i fins i tot amb un fill si és el cas. Una mica de soroll del carrer amb els cotxes pero per sort es un barri tranquil i amb fàcil aparcament. Realment recomanaria molt aquest allotjament!!!

Nous étions trois à résider dans l’appartement de Tiago ; le couple dans une chambre agréable donnant vue sur la mer et la montagne. L’autre personne sur le canapé lit avec également une magnifique vue et un petit patio . Les lits étaient faits et l’appartement était très propre avec une cuisine bien équipée et machine à laver . Géniale la terrasse en hauteur pour se relaxer et y faire sécher son linge ! L’appartement est situé sur les hauteurs et il faut monter une jolie côte pour y accéder , il faut avoir une bonne condition physique. Un parking en bas de celle-ci nous est réservé. Tiago répondait à nos demandes presque dans la minute qui suit . Bref un super séjour.

Nos vacances n'auraient pas été les mêmes sans le logement d'Igor, qui est agréable, propre, fonctionnel et bien placé. En effet, le centre-ville est à deux pas, la voie rapide à 2 ou 3 km, Funchal et l'aéroport à moins d'1/2h de route et la vue du balcon est bien agréable. Nous avons choisi ce logement par hasard et nous avons été ravis de nous trouver dans cette petite ville qui nous as conquis. Thanks for everything, Igor, and all the best.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

we enjoyed the stay very much. beautiful and very confortable apartment and the pool at the roof was amazing! we had our own waschingmachine/dryer room . the welcome was a big surprise with a great present. we will recommend this place +100% 😁

We stayed for one night during our round trip on Madeira, but we would have wanted to stay longer. The place is really spacious, laundry machine and a great terrace with sea view. Madalena do Mar with its banana fields and colorful houses is a charming beach town. Don’t expect sand here, but definitely worth a stop!

Wir waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft und es hätte nicht besser sein können. Die Lage ist, wie beschrieben, etwas außerhalb von der Stadt von Funchal, was wir aber auch wollten. Hier hat man seine Ruhe und kann super auf dem Balkon in den Tag starten. Die Wohnung war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte. Check-In & -Out war einfach und unkompliziert. Die Lage war super, um jeden Tag Ausflüge rund um die Insel zu machen. In die Stadt sind wir dann meistens mit Bolt gefahren (8-10€ für eine Strecke). Busse haben wir nie genutzt. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und die Aussicht ist wirklich ein Traum. Einzig das Bett hätte etwas bequemer sein können, dies war doch recht hart. Ansonsten eine super Unterkunft!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. Die Wohnung ist hell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Tiefgarage ist geräumig. Super, daß eine Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine da war. Iri hat sich viel Mühe gegeben und uns auf ihrem Weg am nächsten Tag nochmal zum Flughafen mitgenommen , da wir Probleme mit der Autovermietung hatten. Ein toller Aufenthalt

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.
