Holiday rentals with a patio in Machico

We had three wonderful days at Blue Whale House. We arrived by car, which we returned immediately on arrival as we wanted to spend our last few days without one. The street is very busy and narrow, even parking for an hour was a bit more complicated directly at the house. The location is very good, even without a car there are great hiking opportunities and there is a bus line from the eastern tip (PR8) via the airport to Funchal. The apartment was very clean, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed spending the evenings there, we would definitely recommend it!

Het verblijf was in één woord fantastisch. De accommodatie was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: brandschoon, fris en duidelijk met zorg onderhouden. Alles straalde rust en kwaliteit uit, van het stijlvolle interieur tot de prachtige omgeving. Het was een genot om hier te verblijven – absoluut een plek waar ik graag terugkom!

Невероятно красивая квартира. В живую лучше чем на фото. Очень быстрое и комфортное заселение. Качественные материалы, хорошая мебель и идеальная чистота. Прекрасный вид из балкона и из квартира на бассейн и океан. Всё работает. Высший класс жилья. Самый лучший район Фуншала с дорогими отелями в округе. Рядом торговый центр. До пляжа 5 минут пешком. До центра Фуншала 10-15 минут на машине.

Super host - very responsive and provided excellent recommendations. Great location to explore on foot and by car. Parking no issue, and easy drive to airport. Apartment was tremendous. Balconies allowed us to have breakfast in the sun outside admiring the views. Walk into town about 15 mins down hill - not too strenuous. Lots of Ubers that were inexpensive, so easy to get about. We had x4 full days in Madeira which were full of activities. Palace Gardens and Levarda walks were excellent. Truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Peng. Het appartement is gloednieuw en je ziet dat het met aandacht is gemaakt. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien en luxe afgewerkt. Vanaf het terras heb je prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Ook het gedeelde zwembad is erg fijn. Houd er rekening mee dat er 's avonds geen zon meer is. Om de hoek zitten fijne bakkers voor ontbijt en er is ook een grote supermarkt dichtbij. In ruim een half uur loop je naar het centrum van Funchal. Terug pakten wij vaak een Bolt of de bus, dat scheelt een hoop klimmen en kost maar een paar euro. De parkeergarage onder het appartement is ook erg ruim trouwens. Peng is ook een ontzettend fijne host. Heel goed bereikbaar en denkt graag mee. Hij gaf ons veel tips voor Funchal en de rest van het eiland. En als we iets niet konden vinden of iets ontbrak in het appartement, stond hij niet veel later op de stoep om te op te lossen. We komen hier graag nog eens terug!

We were welcomed immediately very friendly by Connie, who gave us great tips for the restaurants in the neighborhood and some fresh vegetables from the garden. Connie and Johnny are always available for any questions, yet you have total privacy. The view is amazing, day and night. All furniture is from the highest quality, fully equipped kitchen, a perfect bed and an awesome bath. Worth every cent, just book it and you will have a dream vacation!

Our stay at Kylie‘s was perfect. Everything was as expected and we got some nice local recommendations. We would come back again any time.

The stay at Diamantino’s was great. The location was perfect, close to hiking, around 7 minutes from the airport, and very good restaurants within walking distance. The bnb was nice, clean and the host was very responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

Amplement, Une vue spectaculaire. Logement extremement bien entretenu. Il manquait de rien. On était 4 et on a fait plusieurs souper. Plein de petits plats pour garder nos restants. Peu importe ce que nous avions besoin côté cuisine, on trouvait. Climatisation parfait, wifi parfait. Musique parfait. Je conseille ce Airbnb à 100%

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

logement magnifique situé au calme et très très très bien équipé(jeux de societe cafetière a filtre et a capsule, produit pour machine a laver et pour le lave vaisselle meme une enceinte Bluetooth). logement irréprochable paisiblement et tres joli. c'est le meilleur airbnb que j'ai etais. encore merci a jorge.

Bernardo und Maria sind sehr ruhige Leute mit einem süßen Hund. Bernardo war sehr bemüht mit allem zu helfen und es war zwar klein aber sehr sauber. Das einzige was uns ein bisschen irritiert hat ist das es sehr viele Vögel in Käfigen gibt. Vielleicht andere Länder, andere Sitten. Aber für uns gehören Vögel in die Luft. Ansonsten eine tolle Lage und viele Möglichkeiten von dort aus etwas zu unternehmen. :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The view and atmosphere are incredible. We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We highly recommend this home if privacy and relaxation is what you are looking for after a long day of hiking and exploring!

Logement conforme à la description, bien équipé et très bien localisé pour découvrir Funchal. Garage hyper pratique pour stationner un véhicule. Carla est très réactive, très sympathique et de bons conseils. Je recommande !

Wirklich ein super schönes Apartment! Genau wie auf den Fotos, man fühlt sich direkt zu Hause. Der Blick ist atemberaubend! Würde jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten während man in Funchal ist. Bis zur Stadt sind es ca. 25min zu Fuß. Das Bett ist super bequem. Jederzeit wieder :)

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Superbe appartement ! Parfait pour un séjour a Madère. Le logement est tout équipé avrc une salle de bain par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un groupe de voyageurs, la résidence avec piscine est un vrai plus. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Hôte disponible pour toute question.

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

Great apartment within walking distance to the center of Funchal. Exactly like the pictures and the terrace is really amazing! Very quiet neighbourhood to stay, even with the ongoing construction sites nearby. Parking space is a real plus as well.

Super Unterkunft, direkt am Meer gelegen, man kann direkt aus dem Bett aufs Meer schauen! Die Unterkunft ist super eingerichtet, man hat alles was man braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Stellplatz für den Mietwagen war ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir waren super zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder!
