Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. The kitchen has sufficient dishes in good condition, a coffee machine with capsules available and spices for cooking. Household and toilet linen are also provided. There's also a washing machine. A reserved parking space is highly appreciated. Claudia Luisa has small attentions like dropping off strawberries from the garden. She is very responsive to messages and her explanations are clear, including in the accommodation. And finally, this magnificent view from the living room and the small terrace where we watched part of the Funchal fireworks. Ideal location for visiting the island. Câmara de Lobos is pleasant in the evening for eating on a terrace and listening to music.

We spent a week in the apartment and we are very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, neat and very nicely decorated – everything looks exactly as in the pictures. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and a cozy space to relax. An additional advantage was a private garage and a small garden – an ideal place for morning coffee or evening rest in the open air. The location was also a big plus – a quiet neighborhood, and at the same time close to the store. The host was very helpful and responsive, quickly answering any questions. It is an ideal place for a quiet holiday – we will gladly return on the next occasion and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, well-equipped and cozy accommodation.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Lovely home with a beautiful view. House was well equipped.

The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Funchal. It was spacious, airy and had great facilities for two couples. Each room had its own ensuite and the kitchen was very well equipped. The washing machine was a great bonus. We loved sitting outside on the little balcony with views of the harbour, and we also had access to the rooftop area where the views of the whole town were even more impressive. The location was very quiet and peaceful. It was just a 10-15 minute walk from the main attractions and restaurants of Funchal - (a little steep uphill section on the way back!) We could get picked up from this location for day tours we booked to explore the rest of the Island.

Amazing apartment in the heart of old Funchal. Close to all the major attractions. It has everything you need for your stay. Super comfortable living room and bedroom it also boasts 2 complete bathrooms. I highly recommend.

The penthouse was the perfect place to come back to after a day spent hiking and exploring the island. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need, the bed was comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. The team at Pausa had helpful information available throughout the stay and were very friendly and responsive to talk to. Definitely worth the splurge to stay here while you are in Madeira!!

Wonderful apartment right on the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and has everything you need. Also has easy parking just outside. An extra bonus is all the great restaurants nearby!

Everything was great! Perfect location

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

The airbnb was nice and clean. Location was also good. Host was also very helpful in providing information about Funchal.

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.

I consider my stay in Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I have ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a grill and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves ;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island.
