Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Machico

This place was so great. We had 5 of us so this house was perfect. It was pristine and the host was so helpful and communicative. It was right near the airport and was great for plane spotting, which we loved (not too noisy though don’t worry!). The kitchen and laundry facilities were great, the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were lovely and modern.

Excellent stay at this beautiful home! A private get away that was picturesque and comfortable!

Hemos pasado unos días y la experiencia ha sido fantástica. La casa es muy bonita, limpia, cómoda y luminosa. Tiene todo lo necesario para que te encuentres tan bien como en tu propia casa. El aparcamiento propio está muy bien porque aparcas en la misma puerta. Además la ubicación está genial para llegar al aeropuerto. Igor ha sido un magnífico anfitrión, ha estado atento en todo momento de nosotros y nuestras necesidades, respondía a los mensajes súper rápido, y ha tenido muchos detalles geniales con nosotros. Muchas gracias por estos días Igor.

a nossa estadia (3 dias) foi ótima , a casa estava muito limpa, muito bem decorada e o espaço espetacular com as vistas. Chegamos de noite e ao acordar de manhã foi uma delícia ver o espaço envolvente e sentir a serenidade do ambiente. A casa está toda equipada o que nos permitiu fazer um churrasco ... ca Fica à cerca de 5kms do aeroporto o que nos facilitou com o aluguer dos carros. Recomendamos a uber para o transporte. Os taxistas do aeroporto não são simpáticos e muito caros. Relativamente a Andreia ,foi muito acessível e preocupada connosco. Portanto, se voltarmos à madeira, voltaremos à ficar na casa com toda a certeza.❤️

Amazing stay at a spacious, cozy and fully equipped apartment. The host was very welcoming and easily reachable. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the city. Couldn’t ask for more.

Despite an initial hiccup, our stay in Filipe's house in Madalena do Mar was blissful. Being nestled in a banana plantation felt like living a dream, with the most stunning sunsets lighting up the evening sky. Madalena do Mar is a beautiful part of the world and we didn’t want to leave. It was simply brilliant, like stepping into a little slice of paradise.

What an amazing apartment! Jose and Fatima are awesome hosts, they are very responsive and always extremely helpful! I really can’t recommend this property or any other property hosted by them! Can’t wait to come back for my fourth trip & I’ll be sure to stay here again! Awesome views!!

Tivemos uma estadia muito boa. O espaço era acolhedor, limpo e exatamente como descrito. A comunicação com o anfitrião foi fácil e rápida. Recomendo.

Einfach paradiesisch! Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist die beste, in der wir je waren – perfekt, um abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Alles war super sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Garten und der Pool sind traumhaft schön und bieten absolute Entspannung. Morgens mit dem Blick aufs Meer und dem Rauschen der Wellen aufzuwachen, war einfach unbezahlbar. Die Küche in der Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet – und das Kochen in der Outdoorküche war ein echtes Highlight, da fehlte es wirklich an nichts. Die Kommunikation war durchweg herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinen, charmanten Dorf mit ein paar Restaurants, in denen man wunderbar essen kann. Am Strand kann man traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge genießen – ein echtes Erlebnis! Für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es auch einen kleinen Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The flat was awesome! Great standard and fresh look. Can’t say bad word about it. Location is good (not a lot things in walking distance, but with car points of interest are nearby.

Super Lage, man ist vom Flughafen schnell an der Unterkunft. Da die Insel nicht groß ist kann alles innerhalb von 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Die Kommunikation mit Guido und seiner Frau war super. Wir konnten früh einchecken, Guido hat uns herum gezeigt und wann immer wir Wünsche oder Probleme hatten hat Guido sofort geantwortet und uns geholfen. Wir haben uns morgens auf die Pastel de Nata gefreut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzige Punkte die nicht perfekt waren: Wir fanden das Bett eher unbequem und durch die Nähe zur Straße war es Nachts lauter als wir es gewohnt sind. Wir würde das nächste mal auf Madeira wieder hier her kommen.

Appartement très propre et fonctionnel. À proximité de l’aéroport donc bruits d’avions mais ce n’est pas dérangeant. Le quartier est calme. Si vous avez une voiture le stationnement est pratique et gratuit. Filipe est très réactif et serviable.

We had an amazing time at Jaime's apartment. The place looks beautiful, is really large (2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms) and has an amazing kitchen with a lot of kitchen tools and supplies. The apartment is located in a small village with a few restaurants and a small supermarket. As this village is located on a higher spot, you have views of the mountains and the sea from the balcony. It is recommended to come to the apartment by car, so you can really explore the island from this location. Be aware that some of the roads are quite steep, so it requires some driving skills haha. Madeira has many microclimates and the climate of the apartment was during our stay a bit cloudy and quite humid. Jaime is a responsive host, who sent us many recommendations and information about Madeira, which we appreciated a lot. We definitely recommend staying at this beautiful apartment!

Danke an Joana und Juan für den herzlichen Empfang in eurer Unterkunft. Die lokalen Tipps von Juan waren toll und das Appartement hat alles, was man braucht. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und alles ist in bestem Zustand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

Die Lage ist super, da sich direkt vor dem Gebäude eine Bushaltestelle befindet, mit diesem Bus kommt man bequem innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten nach Funchal. Außerdem bietet Jose einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz an. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Joses Mutter in Empfang genommen, die Kommunikation war etwas schwierig, da sie nur Portugiesisch und Spanisch spricht, aber man konnte sich gut verständigen und uns wurde die Wohnung und alles wichtige gezeigt. Bei Fragen war Jose immer erreichbar und man hat innerhalb weniger Minuten von ihm eine Antwort bekommen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier einchecken.

Goed gelegen accomodatie. Kleine supermarkt en bakkerij heel dichtbij. Evenals restaurants waar je lekker kon eten. Alles aanwezig voor een zorgeloze vakantie. luchthaven en Funchal op minder dan 15min rijden.

Logement fonctionnel dans une résidence sécurisée avec Parking. Un petit balcon est très appréciable. L’autre est d’un accueil des plus chaleureux avec beaucoup de recommandations et de conseils de site exceptionnels à visiter. Attention deux lits séparés dans la chambre.

Fijn appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken. Eigen parkeerplaats in garage. Zeer dichtbij de oceaan. Snel en vriendelijk contact met eigenaar. Mooie locatie om het eiland te ontdekken.

Verblijf van 12 dagen. Prachtig appartement met terras op de 6e verdieping, uitzicht op zee. Lift aanwezig. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol! Slechts 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum en de boulevard. Host Carlos is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel. Goede supermarkt met vriendelijke mensen om de hoek, evenals 'snackbar' voor een koffie, drankje met wat lekkers. Jardim Santa Luzia op 5 minuten lopen. Mooi park met prachtige bomen en een 'snackbar'. Je voelt je hier meteen thuis en bij terugkeer naar Madeira zullen we dan ook zeker weer voor dit appartement van Carlos kiezen. Een echte aanrader!
