Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. There are cafes nearby, the Botanic Gardens are a short walk, and the main towns of the Blue Mountains are 20 minutes drive away.
