Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality

We spent 3 nights in Taarbeck and got to know our way around pretty well! We didn't have a car, but were able to catch a bus at the end of the driveway and be at the Klampenborg train station in about 5 minutes. If you miss the bus (which we did once) you can just walk to the train station-- it's about 15-20 minutes but it's on a private path behind all the houses so is a nice walk. On weekends the bus runs hourly (or did when we were there) so plan accordingly, or plan to just walk to the train. Be sure to walk up to the Hermitage and then to the Bakken amusement park -- it's a wonderful walk, with horse-drawn carriages passing along the way, and a sweeping view of the sea from the Hermitage. The house itself is elegant and easy to live in, beautifully decorated and modern. There's a little restaurant nearby, and a self-service grocery but you need a pass to get in. (The locals would let us in if it was locked.) Highly recommended!

Line and Alexander have a lovely home and we very much enjoyed our stay. The house is just as shown in the photos and is situated in a quiet street close to Lyngby lake, also with a private garden at the back. It's modern, well furnished and comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed, plus was spotlessly clean. Communication was great and very friendly at all times. Fui con mi familia a visitar a mi hermano que vive por la zona, no es lo más turístico, pero la zona es muy bonita, con los lagos al lado y la casa con semejante patio es estupenda. La parada del tren a 15 minutos andando, y la de autobús a 2 minutos. La casa una monada, comodísima y con todo lo imprescindible a excepción de lavadora. Søren encantador y muy atento. Estamos seguros de que cuando volvamos a Dinamarca intentaremos alojarnos de nuevo aquí.

Wonderful house in the gorgeous little fishing village of Taarbæk close to Copenhagen and all the beaches and attractions of the northern coast. Check in and communication was seamless. The house had every amenity we needed. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit Copenhagen and the northern surroundings.

Von Anfang an hervorragende Kommunikation mit Henrik, er hat bei Fragen/Problemen super schnell geanwortet. Das Haus entspricht zu 100 % der Beschreibung. Tolle Terrasse und Garten, 3 schöne Schlafzimmer, moderne Küche und 2 Wohnzimmer auf 2 Ebenen. Tolle Lage - 15 -20 min in die Kopenhagener Innenstadt mit dem Auto, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wunderschöner weitläufiger Park (Jägersborg Dyrehave) ca 15 min zu Fuß zu erreichen - unser Hund hat es geliebt und wir auch :)

We have stayed in this house for two summers in a row! We are a family of four, our children are ages five and seven. The kids feel very comfortable in this beautiful house. We have immensely enjoyed the use of the outdoor area, with its incredible and beautiful gardens and patio furniture everywhere. There’s also a trampoline and, berries and apple trees making it ideal for our kids. Inside the house is decorated in a traditional and  beautiful danish style. Our hosts have been incredibly generous to let the kids use their trampoline,  Legos and coloring books to keep them occupied and  happy. The house is flooded with sunlight, and cozy and comfortable in every way. We have cooked meals here, eaten outside or inside, had popcorn movie nights on the couch, and so much fun here. This house is ideally situated in a quiet suburban neighborhood, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the town. We really enjoyed our stay in Jakob’s lovely clean home. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable and linens clean and good quality.

Vi overnattede 4 voksne og en baby i Anders flotte og hyggelige hus. Vi havde rigelig med plads til familie middag og små private åndehuller. Og nabolaget var meget imødekommende. Huset er beliggende med masser af natur, strand og indkøbs muligheder i nærheden. Nem adgang til store motorvej, hvilket gør det nemt at tage en dagstur til København eller andre seværdigheder i NordSjælland. Vi anbefaler med glæde denne bolig til andre og håber selv at kunne vende tilbage igen. Esben

Stéphane’s place was very cozy, clean, bright and well-appointed. I was visiting a friend in the area and it felt like I had my own flat to come home to. It was very easy to check in and Stéphane was very responsive and made sure I arrived ok. It complimented the neighborhood, which was very safe, quiet and easily accessible via bus and train, with several great shops and restaurant in walking distance. I highly recommend this place as a reasonably priced accommodation in Ordrup, and would definitely stay again!

Marianne is a gracious host. She gave us fresh flowers and apples from the garden. The large sitting room is filled with sunshine in the mornings perfect with a cup of coffee. The view of the water and sky is never tiresome. We rented bikes and explored the city; highly recommended. The cafe across the street has great croissants. There’s groceries by the Orderup train station, a 12 minute walk. The 23 bus is in front of the house. Up the street is a great beach where you can grab a drink. A peaceful beach location. Highly recommend taking a short train ride to the Louisiana Museum. Thank you Marianne. Hi to Hishew ;)

Lovely home in Charlottenlund that is close to the train station and cozy town center. Plenty of space for us to relax, including two balconies to enjoy some fresh air. Hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Alors si vous souhaitez sortir tous les soirs pour manger ou pour d'autres activités nocturnes, ce n'est pas l'appartement qu'il vous faut. Mieux vaut viser le centre-ville. Par contre si vous voulez être tranquille en famille et vous reposer de la journée, cet appartement est spacieux, très agréable, dans un quartier tout à fait calme. La station de train est à 5-10 minutes à pied, ainsi que les deux supermarchés dont l'un est ouvert jusqu'à 22h 7j/7.

Het appartement is zeer ruim, heel licht en heel gezellig ingericht. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is er. Er is eveneens een leuk terras met zicht op de tuin. Alice is duidelijk iemand met groene vingers die van planten houdt: er staan veel planten wat het geheel een heel fijne sfeer geeft. Het appartement is rustig gelegen, in een groene omgeving, met heel wat winkels voor de dagdagelijkse boodschappen in de nabije omgeving (500m). Kopenhagen centrum is vlot bereikbaar met de bus of de fiets. En: de communicatie met Alice verloopt zeer vlot! Echt een aanrader als uitvalsbasis voor een citytrip naar Kopenhagen.

We stayed at Karina’s apartment for 2 months, as we were in between houses. We are a family of four - and we loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our needs - clean, cute and warm. Location was good for us - nice area, quite area and close to everything. Karina was the perfect host, apartment had everything we needed - and we even got a small welcome snack package 🥰 Will recommend Karina and her apartment at anytime! Thank you for the best stay 🙏🏻🏡

Our stay at Agis place was wonderful in all respects. The apartment was extremely nice as was the host. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful with scenic walking spots close by. The train station was close by and in 5 minutes you could be in Copenhagen central. From there it´s also easy to get to Helsingor and Louisiana. In short a perfect holiday for us.

We would highly recommend staying at Mikkel’s home. It was immaculately presented, a clean and cozy space to relax after a day of adventure. It is great for families and really convenient to metro, convenience stores, restaurants and freeways, with an easy quick drive into Copenhagen CBD if you want. This home had everything we needed and more. We had an awesome stay and it made our holiday one to remember. The house is situated in a lovely safe area and we enjoyed easy walking, running and trips to the lake for fun activities. The home was great value for money and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Beautiful home in a very nice residential area, located within walking distance of the beach, forest, and the train into Copenhagen! We had a lovely time sharing the home with 8 guests. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect for large families.

Bent’s hus var perfekt for vores lille famile der husvilde. Bent var meget fleksibel og hurtigrearende på de få spørgsmål der meldte sig undervejs. Huset er helt igennem udstyret med alt hvad man har brug for. Dejlig have og terrasse. Klart anbefalelsesværdigt !

Vi leide huset til Christian og Malene i ti herlige dager sammen med en vennefamilie. Huset i seg selv er vakkert - så mye finere i virkeligheten enn på bildene! Det er god plass, rent og innehar absolutt alle fasiliteter vi har hatt bruk for, ikke minst en fantastisk kaffemaskin! Bassenget er både stort, rent og varmt. Som vert er Christian særdeles behjelpelig og serviceminded. Det meste av nyttig informasjon hadde vi i forkant, men Christian svarer utrolig raskt når vi har lurt på noe. Anbefales varmt!

Wir hatten erneut einen wunderschönen Urlaub in einem sehr gemütlichen und stilvoll eingerichteten Haus mit Pool. Die Umgebung lädt zu tollen Ausflügen ein (Wald mit Wildtieren sowie einer der weltweit ältesten Freizeitparks sind zu Fuß zu erreichen). Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und der Kontakt mit Helene und Christian war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold i huset til Marie. Beliggenheten var perfekt mtp. avstand til natur og strand, samt kollektivtransport til København. Huset var kjempefint, rent og ryddig, med lekker innredning og stor plass, og hadde alt vi trengte. Marie er en strålende vert som er vennlig, enkel å kommunisere med, tilgjengelig og hjelpsom. I tillegg ga hun oss veldig gode tips om ting å finne på i nærområdet. Vi anbefaler Marie og steder hennes på det varmeste, og hadde uten tvil besøkt det igjen.

Vi leide Signe sitt hjem for annen gang da vi var svært fornøyd ved første besøk. Huset er perfekt for barnefamilier, er i et rolig strøk med kort vei til strand og lekeplasser, samt matbutikker. I tillegg er huset godt utstyrt for familier med leker til barn og stor privat hage. Signe svarer alltid raskt og er veldig behjelpelig. Anbefaler i høyeste grad Signe som utleier og hennes hjem.
