Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lucerne

Beautiful stay with childhood friends. A very warm welcome from Lien and her husband. The accommodation is very neat and everything is available for a pleasant stay. The chalet and its view of the lake and mountains are breathtaking.

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

Maria and her husband were incredible hosts, some of the most thoughtful and responsive that I've interacted with. They took great care of us. The home is beautiful and full of thoughtful touches like towels for the beach, great shower products, kitchen basics, delicious strawberries (!!), insect repellents, etc etc. The location right on the lake is great in the summer, we went and enjoyed the local swimming beach. Would highly recommend staying with them.

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young children for 6 nights. We had a lovely stay and found it to be a great location to explore Luzern and central Switzerland via public transport. We bought a Swiss travel pass and went out on excursions every day. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest trains station and about the same to the supermarket. There a play parks nearby and a small shopping centre. Check-in was easy and communication great from Julia and Daniel. The kids loved playing with the cats and chickens in the lovely garden when we were in and they enjoyed checking for eggs every day (they were delicious!).

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Apart from our little mishaps with the luggage, which partially ruined our holiday, the place itself was nice — a welcome escape from the busy city to the peaceful quiet of the mountains with a view.

A cozy place to stay with wonderful views in the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, living room very spacious. The balcony lets you linger, the seating area also has a barbecue area. We found everything in very clean condition. The explanations were supportive and easy to understand, the contact very friendly and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back.

The studio is charming, the bedroom is burnt to the ground. The location is excellent (close to Mount Riggi). The studio is quiet, well-equipped, clean and quiet, and the landlady is very responsive. We enjoyed it very much.

Just got back from a lovely stay. The apartment is well situated to visit Lucerne, Zurich and Bern (this is what we did anyway), and very well equipped. It was very clean and had a large selection of cleaning products so we were able to clean up after ourselves well after meals etc, as well as extra towels etc. There is a small supermarket opposite which was very handy, and parking very easy. Doris and Ernst were very friendly, helpful and quick to respond at all times, with some lovely thoughtful touches upon arrival! We would 100% recommend, we had a lovely stay and the pool was a bonus! :)

A spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen. Perfect base for hikes and a swim in the lake nearby and then enjoy homemade dinner in the garden.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Corina was an amazing host. The place was very clean, spotless and very scenic with lake and mountains visible from the balcony. Great location to experience living in the Swiss countryside while still living very close to Lucerne. Corina went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay including picking and dropping us to and from the train station and finding us a replacement bag because of a broken zipper. She also provided us with great local recommendations for the region. When me and my family visit Switzerland the next time, we will definitely be staying at the same place and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is looking to stay here.
