The name alone of Bright Blue Cliff captures the breathtaking beauty of its setting. Perched at 267 meters above the Mediterranean, this oceanfront Ibiza vacation rental affords stunning vistas of the azure waters and the cliffs along the coast near Sant Miquel de Balansat. Come with up to ten friends and family to rejuvenate body and soul at this luxury property, or to explore the area’s beaches and picturesque villages.

The space
Your holiday at Bright Blue Cliff includes daily continental breakfast and housekeeping on six days out of a week-long stay. Terraces on every side let you follow the sun as it moves over the olive, cypress and palm trees in the villa’s gardens. Spend lazy days in a lounger by the pool, or get a competition going at the ping-pong and pool tables or pétanque court. Switch on the sound system to set the mood as you heat up the barbecue or serve dinner at the table under a grove of pine trees, or climb to the rooftop terrace to watch the sun wash the cliffs in golden light as it sinks into the sea.

Though the house has sat atop the cliffs of Na Xamena for many years, it was recently given an update to refresh its contemporary style. The open-plan living and dining areas are simple yet inviting, with low-slung sofas and chairs, and live-edge wooden tables. Sliding glass doors let you open the space to the terraces and showcase the one-of-a-kind views. For your convenience, the villa has both a fully equipped Bulthaup show kitchen and a professional-grade kitchen that can be used for catering.

Bright Blue Cliff has a honeymoon-worthy master suite with a king bed, jetted tub and a private terrace facing the sea, as well as four bedrooms with queen beds. All five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Though you could spend your week watching the dolphins—and yachts—play off the coast, it’s well worth exploring the nearby beaches and towns. Bright Blue Cliff is 15 minutes or less from Santa Gertrudis and the charming Port de Sant Miquel, and, for a day trip or a memorable night out, Ibiza Town is easily accessible.
