We highly recommend Tammy's home. She should write a user guide for how to create a warm and inviting airbnb. The place was chosen mostly for the location, which was perfect. The thought and detail she put into this place was incredible. The house was spotless and had every amenity you could ask for. A 15 minute walk gets you to the Halifax ferry. The bridge to Halifax is a 5 minute drive away. From your personal deck, you can see the water. It was perfect. Thank You!

Chris and Leslie are excellent hosts! The rental was exactly what we needed for my husband and two teenagers who were in the water every day we stayed! The rental is quiet and perfectly furnished for four people to eat, relax, and sleep comfortably. The restaurants and activities Leslie suggested were spot on! My family and I had such a good time we didn’t want to leave. I hope we are lucky enough to stay with them again.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! What an extraordinary gem. Clean, quiet, well equipped and so nicely decorated. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!

The host was amazing. friendly helpful and supportive. The airbnb itself is absolutely stunning. Great view of the lake, local enough tot everything in Halifax, clean spotless and brand new. I have been at a few Airbnbs where they give you limited stock and you have to run out and grab more yourself, not here, we ran out of nothing and everything was perfect. My mother in law uses a walker and she could just zip around with all the space. HIGHLY Recommend, we had family swing by and they all wanted to know the host so they could share it with others.

This Airbnb is absolutely stunning, the pics do not do the views justice. We have watched people fishing, paddle boarding, and even playing with an RC boat in the lake, not to mention getting to watch a little family of Canadian Geese each day. The unit itself is pristine and you can absolutely tell they spared no expense. Everything is quality and makes you feel like your at home. The kitchen has everything you need to prep and make meals and the entire unit is brand new. We are in Halifax area for a medical reason and have to extend our stay (a few times) and the host, Governors Lake Suite's has been nothing but exceptional to deal with and so helpful. My mother in law uses a walker and she loves that she has space to move around and that everything is on one level for her as well. I cannot recommend enough to you to book a spot here for your next getaway enough. 20 min in low traffic to the hospitals, its perfect, not to mention to any shopping you might. 10 Stars!

This home was beautiful! It was perfect for our team away day. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and Danielle was always available to answer our questions.

We stayed here for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! The place is beautiful, with fantastic views and plenty of space for a group weekend getaway. It had everything we needed—from comfortable beds to a well-stocked kitchen—and the whole vibe was just perfect. We’re already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend!

Host is super responsive and helped us with fast and early check in. Huge help there! Location is as perfect as it can be. Quiet area and my kids enjoy the trampoline. Get some hot tea or coffee and sit on the large deck and watch your kids jumping on trampoline. This is the vacation we need. Close to Sobeys / gas station and easy to get on highway to all attractions. We would like to come back again next time we visit Halifax.

Alan and Brooke’s property did not disappoint!! It was just as the listing described 5 star. The beautiful decor and fantastic view made for a perfect get away. The information regarding local attractions, restaurants and shopping was very helpful. Alan was responsive and easy to communicate with. I would LOVE to stay there again and I would highly recommend any property they operate. Thank you Alan and Brooke.

The house was amazing. Very remote and quiet. But only 30 minutes to busier locations with shopping, restaurants, etc. Within 10 minutes, RoseBay Bistro & Market and Dear Emma Pizza (incredible!) provide all you need otherwise. The beach is incredible. Sitting in the chairs at the edge of the beach, over the dunes, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail! The house design is like a piece of art - the many levels and nooks make it a very unique experience. It is well furnished with all sorts of things you might want to enjoy your stay. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AJ's place. The house was perfectly clean and thoughtfully appointed - the kitchen had absolutely everything we could think of and we felt like we were at home immediately. The bed was luxurious in both size and comfort and had pillows perfectly suited to us. I can't rave enough about the overall comfort of this home and the views that accompanied it were brilliant. I really enjoyed watching the geese and ducks on the lake every morning and loved the privacy of the property as a whole. AJ was thoughtful and prompt in all their communications and super helpful with any queries we had. Highly recommend!

In the area for my parents 65th wedding anniversary. This house is close to Bidgewater and also close to Cresent beach so I really enjoyed the location. Easy access off the road and easy to find. This is the second time I stayed at this house and enjoyed my stay both times. Will likely come again.

This place is a whole vibe and one that needs to be seen for yourself. All of the little details make this place so unique. I’m local, and drove by this place everyday, I’m so glad I’ve finally been inside. It did not disappoint. The back yard oasis is 🙌
