Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lower Garden District, New Orleans

We had such a wonderful time and the place was close to the French Quarter and we could easily walk. The artwork in the home was beautiful, but I would worry about children around some of the artwork. The host was great and responded quickly to our questions.

Love the okra Inn such a beautiful historical home. Way more room than expected and super cozy for the family. Would return for next trip.

The house was so perfect, functional, comfy, and surprisingly accommodated nine people exceptionally well. We felt so at ease and happy that we could all fit so well. We loved the living room couch, multiple naps were taken there and it fit my two aunts side by side on one end! Just can't say enough how family friendly the house is. I felt closer to my family because it was an open concept; however, there was enough space between living and dining room to carry separate conversations. It was also really close to major attractions like Bourbon street, which was not as important for us this trip since tourism wasn't our main focus, but it was so easy to go for a quick jaunt into Jackson Square and Cafe Du Monde. The neighborhood seemed so safe, we all felt comfortable going out to our car late at night. And the neighbors were friendly. Also, with such a boisterous family I felt like we were able to still be ourselves. I'd definitely stay here again, we loved it.

Kimberly’s place was perfect for us. Every time I walked in the door I felt peaceful. Perfect amount of decorating, understated furniture with New Orleans flair. The home is immaculate!! Not a speck of dust anywhere. The floors are original and wonderful to walk on. The high ceilings and chandeliers made the rooms feel special and even more spacious. Perfect blend of original, restored and updated. Super comfortable beds. Real plants in every room!—all the right touches to make me feel at home. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I stayed at Hong's house with another couple and had an incredible weekend! Their home is comfortable and clean, with a vibrant aesthetic. Hong was proactive and friendly throughout our stay, helping us to feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again!

We came for our daughter’s graduation from Tulane. This is the perfect house for 6 people. Plenty of room for everyone! Each bedroom has its own bathroom and Natasha provides all your toiletry essentials. She left a complimentary bottle of wine we used to celebrate. The Superdome is only nine minutes away, which made going to graduation quick and easy. Great place Natasha!

My group and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was incredibly comfortable. From the bedrooms to the living area, everything felt like a home away from home. It was spotless and well-maintained. The location was great, close to enough to great restaurants, and historic sites, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. The host was responsive and proactive at giving instructions, making the whole experience seamless.

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

Alleshias place was beautiful and very clean. Close to everything and very walkable. Pool was an added bonus. My children loved it

An Amazingly Charming Stay in the Heart of New Orleans! This home perfectly captures the spirit of New Orleans. The exterior has that classic, historic charm I dream about when I think of the city, and the interior beautifully balances vintage character with modern comforts—those beds were incredibly comfortable! The original hardwood floors and thoughtful furnishings made it feel both cozy and stylish. Just a heads-up: this is a true New Orleans shotgun house, so the rooms flow one into the next with no hallways. It’s also a duplex with shared walls, so sound can carry—something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. That said, the charm and location more than made up for it. We felt completely safe walking to and from the French Quarter (just a 15-minute walk), even late at night. The hosts were responsive, kind, and made everything easy. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Such a beautiful and spacious home. It was super easy to get into and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and using the pool. The neighborhood was very nice and neighbors were friendly. Would 100% return!

This Airbnb was an absolute gem! The location was super close to everything we wanted to see and do. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The host was also really responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

By far one of the best stays. Not only is the host communicative and friendly but Ben’s home is uniquely decorated and comfortable. It fits perfectly with the NOLA culture and was also extremely close to the French quarter and close enough to the airport. The shower was great and I enjoyed spending time in the backyard. My family felt right at home. I definitely recommend booking!

Gigi was great to work with! She was extremely helpful when we had questions and was very friendly and nice. The place was super cute and so close to bourbon street. Walking everywhere was super easy! Highly recommend. Only downfall that might be helpful for some to know is since you’re so close to bourbon street it can be loud at all hours of the day. But I didn’t mind!

This historic carriage home felt like something straight out of a dream. From the stained glass windows to the claw foot tub, the home immerses you in the timeless beauty of New Orleans. If there wasn’t so much to do in the city, I would’ve stayed in the home the whole time! Not to mention the walkable bars and restaurants, Algiers point is impossible to top.

Our multigenerational group from age 6 to 71 (including college students) was very comfortable. Having bathroom in each room is amazing. AC worked well on a hot day, kitchen is great for cooking and we enjoyed gatherings on the couch watching TV and talking. Yes, the street that the house is on is noisy, but some of us used earplugs at night, others didn’t need anything at all and slept like babies. The beds are sooo comfortable! The fact that the place is within walking distance from Rouses Market, amazing restaurants and a kids playground is just an amazing bonus. The city life at its finest for sure. Highly recommend.

This is our go to location for New Orleans whether it is visiting our daughter at Tulane or attending an event at the Superdome, this location is great. Wonderful restaurants and easy parking combined with the quality home-like feel of the space make it a bargain. We will be back!

We had a great stay here with our young kids! It was a very safe area and we always got a parking spot right out front. It was very walkable to everything, playgrounds, coffee, restaurants, and the streetcar. Cat provided a pack and play too. Thanks for a great stay!

We came for Tulane graduation and had a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable and the house is spacious with a wonderful artsy, New Orleans vibe. And it was super convenient to Tulane and the Superdome. We would absolutely stay again :)

Space is exactly as described in a really lovely, artful part of the city with easy walking/biking/running to the Quarter or the Bywater neighborhood. Lots of green spaces nearby. Wifi is fast and great for remote work. Lots of restaurants and places to enjoy all around. Kitchen amenities limited as mentioned by hosts, so bring your appetite for enjoying out! Good to consider for longer stays perhaps.

What a great place. Beautiful garden with fountain, massive space in this two story, stepping back in time, billiards was a bonus! Close to everything. Highly recommend.
