Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Loulé

We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

Just back from a lovely few days staying at Ana Maria and Jorge's cottage, who are such kind and friendly hosts. Well equipped, very comfortable and clean and just what we needed for a peaceful few days resting and exploring the Algarve. Going out and about in a hire car, we especially enjoyed visited historic Silves, swimming in the sea at Portimão and the Sunday church service at São Bartolomeu de Messines Church. Highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft ist ziemlich abseits gelegen, man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Die Leiter zum oberen Bett ist etwas schmal und steil aber wirkt sicher. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr schön und für 2 Personen ausreichend groß. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ana hat auf Fragen sehr schnell und hilfreich reagiert und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Beautiful Airbnb right in the middle of Lagos, but far enough off of the main drag so it’s nice and quiet at night. Easy parking nearby and just steps from the beaches and restaurants. Maggie was communicative and helpful, and check in was very simple. Wonderful experience.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement. Conforme à la description, le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et au calme dans un cadre agréable. Bien situé, on se rend à environ 20/30 min aux villes de Faro et Albufeira. Merci à Ana pour son accueil.

What a slice of heaven on the outskirts of Faro. A beautiful garden, stunning views and lovely terrace for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. A true hidden gem, they also serve the most unreal breakfast with fresh ingredients sourced locally and from their own garden. Alex & Monique gave us the best recommendations, from restaurants to more private beaches. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay, and can’t wait to be back for a longer period. The guesthouse is charming and peaceful, and Paula is a wonderful host.

Beautiful property, and very beautiful room/loft. Relaxing surroundings, very peaceful during the day, nice pool, we were able to swim during the end of May. Host was helpful and responsive. Wish we planned to stay longer!

Great place right on the sand of a beautiful beach, with a short ferry ride into old town Faro. Ideal location.

Era Mar Apartments is a fantastic place to stay in Faro. My husband and I loved how close we were to restaurants and markets. Because of the quality of windows, you wouldn't know you are in the middle of old town Faro. Then, when you want to be outside and soak in the energy, there are three different outside areas to enjoy the sun, coffee and dry your clothes. Tatiana was super helpful with local recommendations, and, specifically an awesome vegan restaurant called Outro Lado. A must-try place if you are plant-based or not. Thanks again to Tatiana for hosting us while we explored the Algarve coast. 🙏

Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

The appartement was all we could ask for! Fabio made us feel at home. It was an amazing stay! I would greatly recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy Faro’s old town.

Wir haben zum 2. Mal unseren Urlaub in dieser tollen Strandwohnung verlebt und die Gastfreundschaft von Mark genossen. Die Wohnung liegt für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt: Zum einen liegt dieser wunderbare Praia da Falesia "vor der Tür", zum anderen erreicht man mit dem Auto schnell den Westen und den Osten Portugals, um andere wunderschöne Orte an der Algarve zu entdecken. Bars, Restaurants und Supermärkte liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe und es gibt auch eine hervorragende Cocktailbar mit Tapas, um einen schönen Sommerabend ausklingen zu lassen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft war stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – ein echter Hingucker! Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Besonders praktisch: Wir durften sogar einen Sonnenschirm für den Strand nutzen. Der Ort selbst war eine absolute Oase, Garten Eden – ruhig, erholsam und genau das, was wir gebraucht haben. Hier stimmt einfach alles: Stil, Komfort und Herzlichkeit. Klare Empfehlung!

Apartment wie beschrieben - sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar und haben schnell auf Rückfragen reagiert.

Have stayed at this accommodation before - modern, clean & very well equipped - in a quiet development that is easy to find & suited our trip (golf) The marina is nearby where there are countless good & varied bars & restaurants to try. If you want somewhere quiet but with lots of life within 10 mins then this is a good Algarve location - great base to explore a selection of high level golf courses. A great host & no doubt will stay again.

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Die gesamte Wohnung war sehr sauber und wie auf den Fotos gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Pools bieten eine tolle Alternative zum schönen Strand um die Ecke. Direkt vor der Tür sind einige Restaurants und Bars sowie ein Supermarkt, super praktisch. Die Parksituation ist sehr entspannt. Wir empfehlen Karines Wohnung gerne weiter und hatten eine tolle Zeit vor Ort!

I have stayed at many Airbnb apartments over the years and I have never experienced the professionalism, adaptability and helpfulness of our host Hélia. In addition, The apartment was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities and the extra touches of bottle of wine, water and tray of snacks are what makes this such a unique experience. I am not surprised that this apartment is always booked. Thank you

Natalia tuvo un trato exquisito con nosotros, incluso antes de nuestra llegada, y eso que reservamos tan sólo 24 horas antes. Respondió rápido a las dudas que me surgieron antes de acabar la reserva, y eso lo agradecí mucho. Nos dió facilidad en la hora de llegada,y nos envió las instrucciones de como hacer el check-in, y aún así tuvimos que llamarla y nos atendió con muchísima amabilidad. El alojamiento a nuestra llegada lo encontramos equipado tal como esperábamos, limpio y allí en el salón tienes un cesto con un montón de recomendaciones tanto de gastronomía, como de experiencias. La urbanización es súper tranquila, la piscina es espectacular. Tan solo hemos estado un fin de semana,pero nos venimos encantados, será otro de esos alojamientos que guardaremos por si la vida nos permite volver,seguro que nos alojaríamos se nuevo aquí. We had a fantastic week in Elisa’s apartment, the view is beautiful! So lovely to see and hear the sea everyday. It’s a short walk into town with lots of great bars and restaurants, we also easily got parked nearby. Elisa was a great host, very responsive and I recommend reading her blog with loads of great recommendations for exploring the algarve. Thank you Elisa!
