Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Louisa County

The house was great! We were able to fit two 19 foot bass boats in the driveway, and could have fit 4 easily. The ramp is in the same neighborhood less than 2 minutes away with ample parking. The house is clean, and back porch is wonderful. This will be our new spot for our yearly tournaments.

We stayed here with some friends and all our small kids. The place was really clean and had all we needed - the kitchen was stocked with all the tools and basics you need for cooking, the property had plenty of space for the kids to play, the downstairs kept the kids occupied in the mornings, and there is a really nice dock to fish. Perhaps the best part was the ability to rent a boat directly from the owners for the weekend - we had an absolute blast doing this. Overall, this place was a great find, and a rare occurrence where i'd like to stay there again instead of trying something new (I usually don't prefer repeat rentals). The checkout procedure included doing the dishes, but the place has a dishwasher so it was ok, and checkout was at 11AM which is optimal. The house is clearly getting intermittent updates and upgrades, and feels very well taken care of and updated. Our only issue was with the outdoor video cameras which were monitored as we were staying at the place.

We had the nicest time at Quiet Cove. Wendy has everything set up nicely in the home. Very clean and the coffee station/s’more fixings were a sweet treat! The kitchen is well stocked and very accommodating to cook. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened in porch looking at the lake. Rented a boat, so the kids could tube. Got ice cream from Moo Thru (delicious) per Wendy recommendation and had s’mores by the fire. The next day we relaxed around the house enjoying the kayak and floats in the water. Crabs on the deck for dinner. Wendy has it set up so well for guest. Wonderful trip to beautiful Lake Anna.

Very peaceful area, huge fenced in yard for kids, dogs or both, The house is well kept and very comfortable, right across from driveway is the entrance to the boat ramp, where there is picnic tables to sit and relax at the boat ramp and can fish from also . Great quite neighborhood with great wildlife and traffic is slow so easy to walk your dogs in the area. The host Kevin was responsive with any questions asked. We had a great time.

Off-the-grid meets modern amenities! This house has it all: tranquility, privacy, incredible outdoor and indoor amenities. We loved the pool and outdoor shower, especially. Although the last 1.5 miles are on a gravel road, which is slow going, it is well worth the drive. It’s convenient to the town of Louisa, as well as Charlottesville. All the bedrooms, the living room, as well as the cabana in the pool area, have smart TVs, the kitchen is well-stocked and the bathrooms are absolutely impeccable. By far, this is the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. I highly recommend this property.

Great comfortable place. stayed here for one week. enjoyed walking down to the lake and the beach. Alexander was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Matt and Tina’s home surpassed expectations on all fronts. This is an absolutely beautiful home on a quiet, and peaceful property. The entire property is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, and is chocked full of amenities and led to an unbelievable weekend. The stand-out for me was the two-tier dock, it is very well done. Matt and Tina were incredibly responsive and generous with check-in times and catered to our large group well. Excellent hosts! Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful home in Lake Anna, VA!

Delightful experience!

We had a lovely stay at this stunning house. The location on the water was beautiful, the weather didn't cooperate for us, we would have loved it even more if the weather was nice. Nevertheless the inside space was perfect for what we needed and for our whole wedding party to stay. The only thing that would have made it more perfect was to have an additional bathroom downstairs.

Jeremie & Joelle’s place is a little piece of heaven. The cabin was clean, well stocked and had great amenities such as the enclosed porch! We had a great time celebrating our 11th anniversary in their cabin! Thank you. Best, Tamica Biggs

The Airbnb was charming and very historic. Kim is very good at communicating and the check-in was very easy. Would recommend!

Nice Cabin. Super close to a food lion which was great for essentials. Host was very helpful with her direct instructions on how and where to enter the cabin and how to get there via alternative directions needed instead of the maps route. The game room downstairs was cool with the pool table as well.

Our stay at The Cozy Bear Cabin was so enjoyable and relaxing! Jessica was super friendly and responsive right from the start. The cabin was very cozy and comfy. It was quite charming, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the scenery and the peacefulness of the lake and its surroundings. The weather was so nice that we had our meals at the table on the deck. Our family went canoeing for the first time and had a blast! It was really nice that there was a multitude of sizes of life jackets in the boathouse and a refrigerator in the Tiki bar/kitchenette. We loved sitting in the Adirondack Rockers while watching our kids use the paddle boards. A lot of fun memories were made and will be cherished forever. Thank you Jessica, for making our time at your lovely home such a memorable one!

We were in town for a local triathlon and stayed at Ali's house for the weekend -- it was spacious, clean, and well-furnished. The fire-pit outside was perfect for a relaxing evening. We also loved the personal touches like local recommendations and a card wishing us luck in the race and a wonderful weekend! We reached out several times through the weekend with questions and updates and Ali was extremely responsive. While cars do require parking passes, the instructions were very clear and the staff members at the gate were super welcoming and helpful in getting passes for everyone. Overall, we had a great time!

This was our FOURTH year at Lighthouse Cove, and it was better than ever! This feels like home at the lake; warm and inviting with all needs covered, but clear of clutter. The forecast looked wet during our whole stay, but that quickly changed and we were out in the lake daily! The floating lily pad this year was a total game changer!! If you have kids def take advantage of it and the beach area/playground 2 doors over. The beds are extremely comfortable, and bathrooms well equipped with tons of towels and complimentary shampoo/wash. The second fridge is always utilized and the huge island and full length pantry are perfect for ALL the snacks! Toula is so sweet and responsive to any and all questions. She’s a fantastic host! Can’t wait for year #5!
