El Rincón de Chona

A spacious apartment ideal for a family or group of friends, very well lit, with windows facing outwards in all the rooms. It is very close to the connections with the main highways of the island, and is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. It is not located in the historic center of San Cristóbal de la Laguna. But you can get to it in a very short time if you have a car, in ten minutes you are in the center. There are two shopping malls near the apartment.

All public services, tram 200 meters away (San Jerónimo stop) Bus, pharmacies, supermarkets, cafes, etc in the area. Also very close to several commercial spaces where you can find a great deal in restoration and commerce. Very close to University Hospital and Candelaria, just 2 stops from the tram , or even walking. Links to South and North highways. Aeropuerto Norte (Los Rodeos) 8 minutes by car, la Laguna 4 Km, Playa la Nea 7 km and Playa las Teresitas 11 Km.

Vicenta’s place is just as described- in a quiet neighbourhood but walkable to the tourist area- about 20 mins on foot, or if you don’t fancy the walk uphill on the way back, there’s a bus stop just outside. Vicenta is really friendly, and although she doesn’t speak English, the Airbnb chat function did a great job. Everything’s clean, I have no complaints! Would definitely recommend!

Katharina is a great host who makes the stay nice with helpful tips about the area. Communicating with her was very easy. The apartment is rather minimalist, but has everything you need for a short stay. Above all, the great balcony and the view from the window of the city are worth the stay at Katharina's.

I'm very happy with my stay. The apartment was well prepared and clean. The male roommate is very tidy, and you don't even notice his presence on a daily basis, and you can always count on his help if needed. The neighbors were also very nice :) There is a large shopping mall nearby where you can buy everything. An apartment in the capital of Tenerife, but in a quiet area. Highly recommend! It's hard to find a better value for money ;)

Bharat and his parents were very friendly — I very much enjoyed my stay with them. The room is clean and as pictured and the apartment is not a far walk from many of Santa Cruz'z main attractions. Really good value and would recommend to anybody looking for a nice room to stay in. They went above a beyond as hosts, offering tea, cookies, and friendly conversation during my stay. Thank you again!

We had a great stay at the villa, it looks even better than the photos and is a really nice, quirky space to stay in. The surrounding area is quite remote so a car is needed, however the view is beautiful and we found the area very quiet and peaceful. It was lovely to sit outside to appreciate the view when the weather allowed. It is a little chillier at the location compared to some other areas closer to the coast, due to it being a little higher up. The villa does have a lot of moisture inside as the pool is within the living area, however there are dehumidifiers and when the weather is good, the door can be opened. The addition of the log burner was very cosy in the evening. The host was really accommodating, great communication and very responsive. I would definitely recommend!
