Beautiful countryside retreat with hot tub

CameronRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

A luxury cottage at Glen Silva Farm

AbigailRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Orchard Cottage; hot tub, tennis, spacious grounds

JoshRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

Mellinzeath cornish thatched cottage.

LesleyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We stayed at Mellinzeath 28 years ago for a week of our honeymoon, and decided to revisit for our anniversary. What a transformation! The property has been restored beautifully and sympathetically, and now feels loved again. Everything - the materials used for the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and equipment - is of excellent quality, and there are many little touches which make it extra welcoming. Even Obi, our dog, had his own welcome pack and a warm shower outside. This is a very special property in a tranquil, secluded setting, with nothing but the birds for company. Wish it had been like this for our honeymoon.....

Apple Loft in the Tamar Valley

DuncanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Charming property and a charming host. Very comfortable 3 night stay in peaceful Latchley in the beautiful Tamar Valley. The property was spacious, clean and tidy with a private courtyard cottage garden and the convenience of car parking on site. A really peaceful location just a stones throw from riverside walks alongside the Tamar and beyond. We'd stay again without hesitation.

Fabulous views. Ideal location to walk to beaches, whilst the water taxi was an easy cheap and fun way to land in the centre of the Plymouth Barbican. Both pubs great were great, The Bridge was a nice restaurant for a Saturday night treat. Also had breakfast and lunch at The Guardsman both good and all within a few minutes walk of the cottage.

We loved our stay at the Little Forge. Sue was a superb host and gave us loads of great recommendations. We really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs etc as it meant we could have a lovely lazy morning after our first night. The annexe was exactly as described, extremely well appointed with everything we could need for our week long stay with our dog, including dishwasher and washing machine soaps, good selection of utensils and salt/pepper/oil. The courtyard garden is delightful suntrap and overall the location could not be more peaceful. We’d love to come back again.

Fab little cottage, located behind The Globe pub. Gate wasn't immediately easy to find. It is literally next door to the pub garden. Excellent property. Clean. Warm. Very close to Looe but far enough to escape the hubub of the town.

5 Sea View Cottages - Seafront East Looe

DianeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We didn’t want to go home! Cornwall, an annual trip for us, and this time we chose Looe and this great find. The house itself was very easy to locate and ideal with parking too. It’s cosy and well laid out, and was ample room for the two of us, (sleeps 5). The house is really well equipped, everything you need in the kitchen and lots in hanging and storage space upstairs. We loved the room on the top floor where we could sit and look out to sea from a chilled well decorated room with comfy sofa, ideal for our morning cuppa! Dawn was a great host, in contact regularly with updates pre-areival and to check that we’d arrived safely. Weather was glorious , so used it to our advantage to explore locally, and also walk from Looe to Polperro on the coastal path, stopping at Talland bay for a pit stop and 1 of Sarah’s pasties, along the way, (buses back too if needed). Looe itself had many places to eat out, recommend the pizza place on the corner near the house, for wood fired pizza.

Compass Cottage Looe Cosy Fishman's Cottage.

CarolineRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had relaxing weeks get away at Huws cosy fisherman's cottage. Huw was very helpful to any enquiries. The cottage is homely and spotlessly clean, you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into ensuring his guests have everything they need. There's a lovely patio area overlooking Looe with a sea view. The location is excellent easy walk into Looe with its many pubs and restaurants, as well as a lovey beach. The walk up and down the hill did me good! Millpool car park is a 10 minute walk away. I was able to unload and load our luggage on the outside road near the cottage. Highly recommend Compass cottage and we cant wait to stay there again soon.

1 Sea View Cottages, Looe. Stylish retreat for two

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
1 Sea view cottage is in a great location, a stones throw from the beach. It is lovely to lie in bed (which we found extremely comfortable!) to the waves breaking on the shore. The cottage is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is very well equipped with everything you will need for a self catering break. There was no problem with space outside the property to unload/load luggage, directions to the designated parking space at Norman Pearn were clear and concise. As host Sherry was top notch and responded quickly to messages we sent.

Cliff Face in Living Room! Beach 1 Min. Looe

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mario was a fantastic host and very quick to respond to any questions. On arrival at the property we unloaded the luggage outside and then drove to a suggested carpark an 8 minute walk back to the property. Mario had provided a lovely welcome basket of goodies and there was a dog bed provided which our dog really enjoyed snuggling up in after our days out. The property is ideally situated on a quiet street but with shop's and some really lovely restaurants a minutes walk away (Juju's tapas was amazing food, hosts and ambience. Fifty restaurant another must, book if you have a special occasion and like fine dining. The Cody Shack for the best fish and chips). We had some lovely day trips to Polperro, Wistmans Wood in Dartmoor was stunning. There is a beautiful coastal walk from Looe to Talland Bay hotel with wonderful views. If you are looking for a quiant and comfy base to explore Looe and the surrounding area we would very much recommend Marios place, you won't be disappointed.

Rustic Bake Cottage, Prime & Peaceful Location

NatalieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend it. The cottage itself is beautiful—cosy, spotlessly clean, and the beds were really comfortable. It’s tucked away in a peaceful spot, which made for a very relaxing break. We were lucky enough to bring our dog, Molly. Just a heads-up for fellow dog owners: there’s not a huge amount of grassy space nearby, so for proper walks you’ll want to venture out about 10–15 minutes to find some green areas. That said, the surroundings are stunning, so the walk is well worth it. The neighbours were very friendly and even gave us a helpful tip about watching out for seagull poo with our dog—something we hadn’t considered but appreciated being made aware of! Communication with the hosts was great throughout, and the recommendation for the Sardine Factory was spot on—one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Definitely worth a visit. We were

Trevarrack - West Looe ⭐️ NEW LOG BURNER ⭐️

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful cosy cottage on a beautiful hill overlooking Looe and all that it has to offer. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and master bedroom were adorable and the garden was quaint and lovely to enjoy morning and eve. Parking up the road was fine - luckily we were able to get a spot every time, but I can imagine in peak times it would be trickier. The water taxi at the bottom of the hill was a lovely surprise and suited our toddler’s little legs after a busy day exploring and playing on the beach. The shower was fab and communication with Katherine was great! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Escape to the sea cottage.

HannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a clean, beautiful cottage in such calm surroundings - we've enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect - clean and tidy with stunning nautical decor, we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The view of the sea is much better than described - a highlight for me was sitting in bed drinking my morning coffee watching the waves! The beach is a 2 minute walk away and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sadly we didn't catch a glimpse of the local dolphins! The garden is full of beautiful flowers - the access is from the road up a path with steps thru the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils/cutlery/crockery, the bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding, the lounge was well stocked with games/books/dvds which the kids loved. Nick was extremely responsive and proactive, very helpful when I messaged him, and we were very grateful for a bit of flexibility on checkout. Overall a lovely relaxing experience - can't wait to return!! Thank you!
