Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Longues-sur-Mer

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

We had a great stay at Vincent’s place. He met us there and was very friendly, showed us around and provided good local recommendations. We really liked the galette restaurant opposite the Tapestry. Thanks Vincent! It really is the perfect location to explore Bayeux and the main centre and the Tapestry are 5 minutes walk away, although the Tapestry shuts in September for renovation work. We will come again and do some cycling next time, it really is that nice a place to stay.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

Pour passer un.moment a deux, au calme avec tous les charmes de Deauville tout proche. L'appartement completement équipé. Très bien agencé, et SURTOUT la vue est magnifique sans aucun vis a vis. Vue mer, port de plaisance, Trouville. Une vue a 180 degrés grace aux belles baies. Vrament un tres bon moment. Merci Claire.

Without a doubt, one of, if not THE best place we’ve stayed through AirBNB. Our hosts were wonderful and did a great job at translation with us. They were super-friendly and super-responsive. None of my family wanted to leave when our time was up. The quiet location and complete lack of tourists was very welcomed. This stay was exactly what we prefer and enjoy. We would very much like to come back, as there was so. Much more to see and do than what we had time for. OUTSTANDING HOSTS AND PLACE TO STAY!!!

The location was great! It was so close to the city center, and everything was within walking distance.

Petite maison très coquette, rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, avec son petit jardin privatif. Quartier très calme. Emplacement pour la voiture mais sinon de la place pour se garer. Très bonne literie , il ne manque absolument rien dans la maison pour passer un très bon séjour. A 10mn à pied du petit port, idéal pour aller boire son petit apéro le soir, avec des commerces et restaurants. Les gens sont accueillants et sympathiques. Un Super U à 5mn en voiture, top pour les courses. Très bien situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement, proche de Bayeux et Caen, 1h20 du Mont Saint-Michel. Julien nous a donné de très bons conseils pour les choses à ne pas manquer dans le coin, merci. Sans le savoir nous sommes arrivés pendant le week-end de la Pentecôte où se déroulait dans tous les villages les 81ans du débarquement, tous ces gens habillés en militaires alliés, les filles habillées d'époque, des défilés de jeeps, motos et chars, choses qu'on ne reverra pas. Notre séjour a été super.

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

The host was super helpful and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. The location was great — peaceful, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in deze fijne woning. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig: van een goed uitgeruste keuken tot comfortabele bedden (2 aparte en 1 tweepersoonsbed). De tuin is echt een pareltje – groot, mooi aangelegd en uitstekend onderhouden. Dominique en Sylvie zijn ontzettend vriendelijke en gastvrije hosts, die altijd klaarstaan als je iets nodig hebt. De locatie is ook top: supermarkten, bakker en diverse bezienswaardigheden zijn allemaal op korte afstand. Kortom: een perfect verblijf gehad, we komen hier graag nog eens terug!

Très bon séjour dans ce logement, les enfants comme les adultes ont apprécié la qualité du logement, l'espace extérieur ainsi que l'accessibilité à pied à la plage et les nombreuses activités et centre d'intérêt à voir à quelques kilomètres en voiture ou en vélo.

The home was even more beautiful than pictured. Beautiful yard with plenty of space for children. Well appointed kitchen, spotless, nice size bathroom, everything was brand new. Hosts were very friendly, accommodating of our last-minute check in, and provided great recommendations for restaurants. Very peaceful yet close to downtown Bayeux. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

Notre deuxième séjour dans cet apartement - toujours aussi idéale pour passer quelques jours à Deauville .. l'emplacement, l'équipement, l'éspace .. et les réponses / réactivité de Charlotte au top! Merci!

En front de mer génial avec des enfants , plage devant la baie de la loggia, vue sublime , stationnement facile, résidence sécurisée avec bip portail. Apt fonctionnel, très bien agencé, de l ‘espace, gros plus la loggia fermée qui s ouvre entièrement . Yasmina à l arrivée comme au départ très souple et de bon conseil. Hôtes sympathiques et très disponibles . A 5mn de Cabourg et 15mn de Houlgate, facile d accès pr visiter la cote fleurie comme les sites du débarquement. Nous vs recommandons sans hésitation . Cdlt. Appartement très bien situé lumineux et cosy avec petit balcon et emplacement parking ultra pratique Vincent a été très arrangeant pour les horaires d'arrivée et départ son qualificatif de super hôte est tout a fait mérité je recommande sans hésitation !!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!
