Kid-friendly holiday rentals in London Borough of Southwark

Laura is a very warm and kind person. If I ever go back to London, I’ll be rebooking with her. She has great recommendations, and is a wonderful when helping tourists figure out public transportation in London. Very close to the rail and great access to transit, quiet neighbourhood, and overall a great place to stay to explore London. Bed was super comfortable too!

Literally Patience was patient (excuse the pun) when Airbnb did something random with our booking. And worked hard to put our booking back on track. And her tone was helpful when I was frazzled worrying the booking was still honoured. The location and x4 bedrooms was chosen for four friends (two flying in) for a weekend sports seminar that was 15 minutes drive away so we weren’t in the area for any other reason. So hardly used the house which was spotless.

Excellent séjour pour ma première semaine à Londres, je n’ai pas été beaucoup présente car j’étais la plupart du temps dehors à découvrir Londres mais Claire a été d’un accueil et d’un soutien chaleureux tout au long de la semaine, avec son grand mais adorable chien Larry ☺️ Merci encore pour cette semaine, j’ai très bien dormi et tout était parfait !

Ian’s place made us feel like honoured guests with all the amenities, conveniences at hand and with special touches and attention to details, like fresh flowers that greeted us when we arrived. The location was peaceful and quiet but also perfect for shopping and dining and most errands may be done within easy walking distance.

Nous avons été très contents de notre séjour de 6 jours chez katie , le logement était assez spacieux pour notre famille ( un couple avec 3 enfants de 5, 10 et 17ans ), chacun a pu profiter de son espace nos 2 derniers ont profiter des nombreux jeux de société mis à disposition ainsi que du jardin . Nous avions trouvé tous qu il nous fallait dans la maison , nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous . Quant au voisinage , il est très calme , la maison est desservie par le bus , il y a un arrêt à 3 min à pied qui vous mène directement vers le centre de Londres . Katie a été très réactive à chacune de nos demandes et elle a été très flexible , elle nous a permis de prendre le logement 2h plus tôt et nous a laissé entreposer nos affaires avant notre départ prévu largement plus tard rare sont les hôtes qui soient si compréhensifs … Nous avions encore pas mal de choses à visiter sur Londres et nous reviendront très certainement chez Katie si son bis est disponible .

Great location. Nice walk to the train station. Close to Lewisham. Easy to park outside Hilary’s house Hilary is very lovely, helpful and friendly. Felt at home in her cosy house. Highly recommend her and will stay there again in the future.

The location is great! Bus stop and tube station at walking distance. Tower Bridge and other attractions are also a short walk away. The studio had everything one would need for the stay.

Our stay here was perfect, the location was amazing with tower bridge just a short walk away, underground and bus stops within short walk from accommodation made getting about very easy. The accommodation itself was spotless and was perfect for 3 adults. Would highly recommend and I look forward to returning.

My guests and I absolutely loved our stay! The local area had loads to do, the flat itself was beautiful and soooo cosy, really peaceful with the doors and windows closed while with them open it was nice hearing the gentle hubbub of life in the distance. The bed was sublimely comfy. The hammock seat on the balcony was gorgeous. Couldn't have wished for a better bolthole - would 100% recommend.

Kostas’s apartment is absolutely top-rate on all key measures. Modern & stylish. Very well equipped with all of the essentials one needs when travelling or on holidays in London. Reassuring security system. And, so ideally located directly opposite Forest Hill Railway Station to connect with trains and buses to every part of London and beyond. Kostas is a very accessible host and easy to deal with when one needs information or has a problem. My partner and I enjoyed our stay, immensely.

Красив, уютен и модерен дом в спокоен и тих квартал на Лондон. В близост до спирки и магазини. Много сме доволни от домакина и уединението, което ни предостави! С удоволсвие бихме се върнали отново!

Jacqueline was a perfect host, she was really communicative and all the information given about the property was accurate. We didn’t use any of the appliances in the kitchen as we were out and about every day but it had more than enough for a long stay. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. The flat was ideally suited for our needs and was very accessible to the city centre of London. The street was quiet and we had no issues with finding our way around. The only negative we could find was the small children that currently live in the building, they created a lot of noise early in the morning. But that can’t be helped - you’re staying in someone’s home after all! Would recommend if you’re looking for a home away from home.

Clare’s garden flat is lovely, with an attractive garden. It is in a perfect location for our requirements and had all the comforts of a home. We appreciated the extras supplied - milk, butter, bread, biscuits tea and coffee. We would have happily spent a couple more nights there and may well do so in future.

Great communication, response time within 5 mins. Property has everything you need, there’s clear instructions and its value for money. Will definitely be back if I need to be in the area. Thanks Thomas!!!

Highly recommended and great value. This was a great find. The roof terrace has wonderful views of the London skyline/landmarks and Mark was a great host. We used the buses (10 mins walk to bus stop) and Ubers to get around - both really easy from the apartment. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern and clean. There is lots of tech in the apartment which was fun and easy to use. The kitchen is really well equipped and the sofa is very comfortable. very minor note: People who are significantly higher than average height or width may find the rooftop access staircase a challenge. The apartment itself is really spacious.

I can’t say enough about this amazing little apartment. Absolutely everything you need for a great stay and it felt like home away from home. Anne also had thoughtful little amenities for us upon arrival and she was a very responsive host. The train station is literally a two minute walk from the flat which was extremely handy for getting to central London. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer! Thanks, Anne, for being an amazing host!

We stayed at this lovely apartment for three nights and absolutely loved it. The place is cozy, colorful, and full of character, tucked inside a beautifully maintained old building. It was the perfect spot for us to relax after busy days exploring London. The garden was one of our favorite parts — so peaceful and full of life, with squirrels hopping around in the mornings. Getting around was easy too, with public transport just a short walk away. The apartment was spotless, well cared for, and had everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. Laura was also really friendly and easy to communicate with.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben. Auch eine sehr gute Wegbeschreibung haben wir bekommen. Wir konnten sogar vor der Zeit einchecken. Patricia hat für uns Obst, Kekse, Milch und Saft bereitgestellt. Das war supernett. Die ganze Kommunikation war sehr angenehm. Direkt vor dem Haus ist eine Bushaltestelle. Wer den etwas weiteren Weg ins Zentrum von London nicht scheut, ist bei Patricia bestens aufgehoben!!

The flat is located in good location for touring London and Hip is very friendly in giving local area advices! We had a bit trouble getting in but Hip responded quickly despise it was already past 9pm! The flat is quite cozy. The only downside is no lift with two suitcases, which has been stated in the info. All and all, would recommend!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung. Ideal um nach dem Trubel in London mit Kindern etwas zur Ruhe zu kommen.

Vanessa’s place was beautiful and exactly as described. The place was spotless and homey. Would absolutely come back again the next time I’m in London.
