Primitive Wooden Cabin located in the forest. Close to Bredeådal (natura 2000) with fine hiking and fishing opportunities. Draved old-growth forest and Rømø/Wadden Sea (UNESCO) are also within reach by car. There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

There's a lot of room inside and out. Large private garden, common room with room for games and activities. Lovely surroundings close to mountain bike track and hiking trails in Stensbæk Plantage (2 km). For families with children, we recommend visiting the Riplay playground in Ribe. It's new, big, nice and quite free! The location is rural with 13 km to Ribe, 37 km to Rømø, and 70 km to Legoland. 4 km to the nearest grocery store. There is a smart TV/Chromecast. Likewise, the charger for the car. Welcome. Enjoy the peace!!

Stay at the Old School in Ellum

Feel the wings of history when you stay at this over 100-year-old school. Experience the most beautiful sunsets, when the weather permits, in the bright southwest-facing apartment. The area offers a lot of lovely nature, with forests and rivers, as well as lovely eateries. The building also houses a shop, tailor workshop & private residence. I am often at home and of course helpful with whatever you may need. Tønder (13 km), Løgumkloster (4 km) and Wadden Sea/Rømø National Park (35 km) Bike rental available in Ellum.

1st floor with quiet and scenic surroundings

The apartment is on the 2nd floor, is approx. 100 m2, and has air conditioning. A cozy living room with board games, sofa, PS4, smart TV and everything you need for cooking. There is a dishwasher. There is 1 step inside the apartment. We have 3 charming and newly renovated rooms with beds for 5 adults, as well as a crib and a rollaway bed for children. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and pets are welcome as long as they are under control and not in bed. We share the toilet at night, but otherwise, it's 100% yours.

Outside, you will find a garden with old trees, flowers, and cosy seating areas. A place to slow down and enjoy authentic Danish country living.

Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Enjoy the beautiful view from the castle bed in peaceful surroundings. Walk to the church, the bell tower, and the town center. Close to the most beautiful forest. We provide our own parking space and a private entrance to the apartment. Bed linen and towels are available. And final cleaning is included in the price. We are located close to the border in case action is needed (about 20 minutes by car). The large beach on Rømø is about 35 minutes away by car from our location.

Cozy vacation home close to nature

If you need to relax from a stressful everyday life, then you are in the right place with us, in a house from 1680 and a roadside inn in the 1800s. We offer an approx. 70 square meter home, newly renovated in 2024 and with access to its own small and fenced courtyard. If you also like nature and animals, you can participate in feeding our goats and chickens, or borrow a bicycle and go on an excursion in the nearby area, such as to Øster Højst, to be pampered in the town's inn.

The cottage is located very close to the forest, so nature feels like part of the house – you can hear the wind in the treetops, smell the scent of the forest floor and wake up to birdsong. It's a place where you automatically slow down, where presence occurs naturally, and where both children and adults can breathe all the way down into the belly. Here there is room for play, for walks in nature, for quiet mornings and long evenings.

Lean back and relax in this stylish home, which is located on a quiet residential street and which contains both a bathtub and a bio fireplace. There is a large adjoining garden with a large wooden terrace and a short distance to both Ribe and Rømø. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom as well as a large and bright kitchen with living room.
