Holiday rentals with a patio in Lodingen

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

I highly recommend this apartment. It's clean and cozy, and the views are wonderful. We stayed for a short time, but if we were to come back, it would definitely be to this place. The only downside is that it can be a bit cold inside the apartment. The area is very quiet—there’s no noise from the neighbors or the surroundings, which makes it a peaceful place to relax. The location is excellent, with the city center and a grocery store just a short walk away. This apartment was everything we were hoping for!

Wir waren nur für eine kurze Nacht auf der Durchreise in der Garage. Die Wohnung ist größer als vermutet und wirklich sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Bett ist ausreichend groß für 1-2 Personen und sehr bequem. Da es an der Wand steht, muss aber die zweite Person etwas reinkrabbeln. Die Lage ist sehr gut in Fussnähe zu Restaurants und Geschäften. Die Kommunikation verlief sehr herzlich und schnell. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

I had a great time staying there and there are lot of supermarkets in and around the apartment. Also the apartment was neat and clean and the owners are helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in Narvik, sehr zentral und ist eine super Ausgangslage für alles. Charlotte war sehr hilfsbereit und hat schnell geantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Wohnung und würden auf jeden Fall zurück kommen.

This flat is excellent. Great view, right on the water, great WiFi. It’s about a 10min walk back to the center of town with nice restaurants and cafes, as well as a grocery store. There’s also some great hikes nearby. Just know that Lofoten has moody weather, so you might want a long stay to ensure you get some sunshine to truly appreciate the region.

We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the children’s play area, essential necessities, and how immaculately clean everything was. It truly felt like a home away from home. This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Wir haben uns in Rogers Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in Sortland. Die Kommunikation mit Roger war unkompliziert und schnell. Ebenso der Check-in. Das Haus ist nicht steril. Man merkt, dass hier eine Familie Zeit verbringt und es auch schön haben will. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Betten waren für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Die Treppe ist steil, aber machbar. Wir hatten Glück und eine tolle Nacht mit vielen Nordlichtern erleben dürfen. Dafür ist die Umgebung sehr gut geeignet. Störenden Lichtquellen kann man entgehen.

Staying at this place was the best last minute decision we could have done! It felt like Airbnb in its good old days - everything was clean, smelled nice and was well decorated. We even got cinnamon buns! We are only sorry that we couldn’t stayed longer. If we would ever come back to Narvik, we will definitely choose this place! 6 out of 5 for us!

Un endroit idyllique. La maison est très agréable et très bien aménagée. Dans un endroit exceptionnel, avec vue sur les montagnes et sur la mer. Nous avons même pu regarder les aurores boréales depuis la chambre 🤩

Es war einfach wow. Es sah so schön aus, haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Wir haben toll geschlafen und die Dusche war der Hammer ☺️

Excellent place for stay. Very convenient if you want to discover Senja ,buy things or find restaurant in town. The room is perfect, very nice and clean. I love the view here, you can sit in the living room and enjoy it. Stefan is very nice guy, answer our questions so quickly. Everything is perfect! I wish I can stay more days.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit Sicht auf die Hafeneinfahrt und die Ankunft der Hurtigrutenschiffe. Öffentliche Sauna gleich nebenan, bestes Restaurant von Nordnorwegen ca 20 Minuten zu Fuss.

Hartelijke ontvangst door Peder! Fantastisch appartement en zeer goed uitgerust! Dichtbij het centrum en toch erg rustig in de omgeving van het bos! Mooie wandelingen en uitstapjes in de buurt! Wij hadden geluk met het weer en konden genieten van het zonnig terrasje met uitzicht op de bergen! Deze plekis een absolute aanrader!!

Super schöne Unterkunft. Sehr sauber. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Die Unterkunft war perfekt für ein paar Tage auf den Lofoten. Der Check-In war einfach und flexibel und alles war in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt, um viel von den Lofoten zu erkunden und trotzdem einen ruhigen Rückzugsort zu haben. Trotz dass die Wohnung in einem Anbau vom Wohnhaus ist, hat man immer Privatsphäre und fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Aussicht war unschlagbar und hat uns jeden Tag wieder begeistert. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
