What even to say. This is SUCH an amazing respite. A slice of Highland Heaven. There are 100 apartments in this converted Abbey, which is RIGHT on Loch Ness. It’s beyond beautiful. Playground, pool, outdoor chess, walking trails, all amazing. We had great service from the Highland Clib checking in, with an incredibly friendly front desk worker. Walkable to everything, maybe 4 minutes was the longest walk we had. The local boat cruise is a must. Watching the boats go through the canal was also fun. Basically, incredible. We will be back.

What a magical place to spend time relaxing! The abbey and apartments are stunning. With lounge windows facing Loch Ness, a large bathroom with a claw foot bath, a substantial master bedroom and separate twin room, it really was a home from home. Fort Augustus is centrally located, and a beautiful little village. We hired a car and travelled extensively through the Highlands. Glencoe is around an hour away, Ben Nevis around 45 minutes, Inverness around 40 minutes, and Balmoral Castle was 2.5 hours away with a spectacular drive through the Cairngorms. I absolutely recommend staying here as your base. You will not regret it. The only thing I would caution is the apartment is on the top floor. This means climbing 6 flights of stairs. There is no lift, so bear this in mind if you have anyone with mobility issues travelling with you. Jonathan, the host, is fantastic in all his communication. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely place with a tesco express nearby. However, hairdryer and kettle wasn't provided so do keep that in mind when packing. The induction cooker also wasn't working and we weren't sure if it came with the studio so we warmed up our water using the microwave. Overall, would definitely recommend to all students looking for a budget-friendly place to stay!

We met Joy outside the building after arriving earlier than anticipated! She was so helpful with checking in and organising our room. The room was perfect, everything you need for a stay in Glasgow! Comfortable, great bathroom! Would 100% stay again!

A nice place to stay in central Glasgow would definitely stay again

The flat was amazing, 4 guys who get to “escape” from their wives and children once or twice a year and we had a blast and the flat was a big part of that. Great big living room for us to chill out in, 3 bedrooms that had super comfy beds. Kitchen as well if we needed it (we didn’t) Flat was a small walk to central station and the city centre so ideally located.

What an amazing place! Keeping the beauty of such a historical building felt like we were stepping back in time. Lots of room for all 6 of us and especially appreciated the kitchen . In a great location to explore the outdoors . Beautiful location! We loved the place and had an amazing time! Loved the amenities especially the pool. The beauty and peacefulness of the place is hard to describe.

We headed to Adriana’s apartment for a week over the New Year period. The apartment is lovely, very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment is very spacious with big rooms and 3 bathrooms. Lots of space in the living area to unroll my yoga mat and look out the balcony window and straight out onto Loch Lomond and surrounding hills. Even on the dreichest of days it looked magical. The apartment is part of the Cameron House Resort. We dined in the apartment mostly but enjoyed the numerous walks around the apartment and the hotel. The Boathouse is a lovely spot for a coffee and to watch the seaplane , the annual charity waterski took place on the 1st and we enjoyed watching this , the 1st was a an unexpected spring like day. Warm, bluebird skies and sunny. Staying at the apartment allows guests to use the pool facilities at the hotel and the Carrick spa. We only used the latter. Having been lucky enough to have visited many 5* hotels with spas - I would hand on my heart put this one as my favourite. I loved it so much i used it twice a day. Once at 9am and again around 3pm. There is so much to do. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, aroma room, chill out room, thermal experience, roof top jacuzzi , infra red room, chill out zones… and on & on. Just perfect and was the highlight of the trip for me. I understand that Adriana uses these weeks usually for herself and family. We felt extremely lucky that she opened up this week and we were able to go. Will be keeping our eyes on this listing for next year !

The place was exactly as described, clean, secure, and set in a beautiful environment. Agam was very helpful, when I had a minor issue with one of the keys, he quickly arranged for someone to fix it and kept in touch throughout. Overall, a great stay that was well worth the money. I would definitely stay here again.

Martin was a great host! We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and a box of delicious cookies upon our arrival! Martin graciously granted us a late checkout, too, which helped a lot with our schedule. The location of the flat was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this host and this flat to others!

Aymencito was very communicative, check-in was painless, and the room was clean. The location was close to the train stations and a few bus stops. The area was relatively quiet but near quite a few pubs and restaurants. Great option for a couple/solo traveler in Glasgow.

A lovely, spacious, modern flat. Exactly as described and shown, and a great choice for both the railway station and the airport, with shops just around the corner.

Had a great time staying with Brian, everything from the accommodations to the room. Nice and quiet and super helpful. Would recommend anyone looking to stay.

We had a fabulous stay! Gorgeous flat, fully stocked kitchen. The grounds and public places of the Highland Club were amazing. We enjoyed sitting by peaceful Loch Ness in the evenings, as well as the easy walk into town for shops and restaurants. Highly recommend, and would stay again!

The Airbnb is located in a two bedroom flat that is walking distance from Glasgow CBD. It is close to several bus routes as well as the subway. The room has its own toilet and there is shared access to a kitchen, fridge, washing machine, etc. The room itself is adjacent to the motorway so traffic can be heard all throughout the day. There is a gym downstairs at the apartment block but I was not able to access it with the provided fob. Overall, it's an affordable well-suited to a short-term stay in Glasgow or as a bridge to moving into the city.

Portnellan estate is just beautiful and peaceful, in a great location at the bottom of Ben More with lovely views. Cameron has thought of everything giving visitors access to a games room, kayaks and a small visitor centre with maps, books, ice cream and a freezer with meats etc. there’s even a shed with bbq’s that can be taken to your lodge. The lodge itself was so comfortable with everything you need to include towelling robes and slippers. We had a great day kayaking on the loch opposite the estate surrounded by fabulous scenery. We will definitely be returning.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay – the place was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Communication with the host was smooth, fast, and friendly. We truly felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. We’d be happy to come back and definitely recommend it to others!

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sona House, which is very stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. The location, fresh flowers throughout the house and the sight and sounds of the attractive stream at the back were all great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Our stay at Old Mill Cottage was pure magic. Vicki and her daughter Daisy were such welcoming hosts that we felt like part of the family, and the stream right outside our window added an enchanting touch to our stay. This cozy retreat is a hidden gem, perfect for a tranquil getaway. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Thank you, Vicki and Daisy!
