Cottage holiday rentals in Loch Linnhe

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

An absolute stunning break, our third time here. A quiet, comfortable home and a spectacular garden space for my autistic son to be himself, and my 3 Chihuahuas felt like they were in heaven. The hot tub was well used, even my elderly mum had a go. We had some lovely visits to the surrounding areas but mostly enjoyed the rest and relaxation that we all needed. We can’t wait to come back again.

This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. ☺️ The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

We loved our stay in the waterfall cottage! It was a perfect place for our newlywed destination to kick off our honeymoon. The view is stunning and we loved drinking our morning coffee in the back porch taking it all in. The inside is very cozy and we cooked many meals in the kitchen which was well appointed. There are other lodgings directly adjacent to the property but fortunately were all vacant otherwise it would have been less private than expected. This is listed as a detached cottage, but a wall is directly shared with a cottage next door technically making this a duplex. A bit misleading but all good since it was vacant for our stay. Nina was responsive to all our questions which we appreciated. We loved Loch Tay, the Crannog Center, and Aberfeldy nearby. While there are no direct signs to get to the lochside, there are paths down to the loch through the gate or nearby boathouse lodge entrance from the road to walk down to see the water.

We had a really lovely stay at the cottage, and as others have said the games room is fabulous fun, the horses were a huge hit with our kids, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a fun day out! Thank you again Helen and family for a super place to relax and have great fun. We really enjoyed our visit.

Hi Anna , we have had a great time at your hide away cosy cottage whilst also going out and exploring what the area near and afar has to offer. We travelled from near Oban for our first week when we went to the Isle of Mull and then this week we did make time to visit the Isle of Skye which was spectacular. We live in mid Wales so use to the unpredictable weather but on the whole it’s been good to us . Great place to base ourselves from . The wildlife in the garden have been great to see as well and the dogs have loved it . Thank you .

An ideal home for two on a peaceful island about half an hours drive from Oban where there are supermarkets, restaurants, shops and pubs. We did a big shop at Tesco in Oban as there is only a little shop selling basics in Seil. The cooker at the house worked well and there was plenty of space for preparing food. We enjoyed our stay and Jack our dog was fascinated by all the rabbits hopping about on the golf course nearby.

We booked for a last minute get away and Tim & Judy’s place did not disappoint! The cottage was gorgeous and Tim was very helpful in getting us settled - peanuts were set right outside the kitchen window and we had red squirrels within minutes! Lots more bird watching was done throughout our stay :)) The fire and heaters kept us cosy, and the kitchen was well equipped. Will be returning soon hopefully!

This place is amazing! So peaceful and private with stunning views across the countryside. The house is incredibly stylish and very nicely done. The outdoor bath was a highlight, such a great idea and so much nicer than a hot tub. We saw a kingfisher going up and down the river right outside the balcony. All in all one of the best places we have stayed. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much Georgina!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy countryside cottage. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the cottage had all the equipment we could possibly need — from kitchen essentials to comfortable bedding and even thoughtful little extras. The location is perfect if you’re looking to relax and unwind in beautiful natural surroundings. We enjoyed the fresh air and the calm of the countryside. The host clearly put a lot of love into the place, with plenty of charming details that made it feel both homey and special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, well-equipped escape in a lovely setting!

We had a brilliant week at the cottage. It had everything we needed and the island was the perfect getaway from noise and bustle. Tranquil and ideal stress buster. The pub is also a gem.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich richtig schön. Wir haben uns gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Auch die Hunde, schließlich hatten beide Hunde eine Couch für sich :-). Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht und mehr. Für unser Wohl war mit Müsli, Broz, Kaffee, Milch und vielem Mehr gesorgt. Der Garten am Haus ist fantastisch, sehr weitläufig. Perfekt für eine kleine abendliche Gassirunde. Joanne ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir hatten ein WLAN Problem und sie stand uns direkt zur Seite, um das Problem zu lösen (wir wollten online an einer Hochzeit teilhaben). Wenn ihr Ruhe und Entspannung sucht sowie einen tollen Kontakt mit den Gastgebenden, dann geht unbedingt zu Joanne.

Beautiful little house in a peacefully place. With sheep and cows around the place, it’s a very calm and resting place. I clearly recommend this wonderful house.

This was a lovely peaceful cottage beautifully equipped with everything you need. Welcoming hosts clean and tidy in a lovely location with a view to die for. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and wish we could have stayed longer

What an amazing property ! Absolutely loved our 4 night stay in the cottage .. we loved watching the birds all day long feed from the bird feeders .. so peaceful ! Kat our host was brilliant .. so many nice touches to make u feel right at home. Thankyou for an unforgettable experience. Would recommend to anyone.

What a wonderful place! The apartment is incredibly modern but cozy, well insulated and has the most amazing views. We'd come visit again in a heartbeat!

Nice little cottage. WiFi was disrupted but we were offered a bottle of wine and a complimentary hot tub session which more than compensated for it :)

Het huisje ligt afgelegen op een prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht op zee, waarin op een avond enkele zeehonden nieuwsgierig rond zwommen. Het huisje is smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Ik voelde mij er direct thuis. Het bed is comfortabel, de lakens zacht, de pannen zijn van goede kwaliteit, net als de keukenbenodigdheden. Een heerlijk huisje.

We had a lovely stay at Tracey’s guesthouse with its amazing views. Had a great meal at the pub as recommended by James, and cooked in the well appointed kitchen our second night. We had everything we needed and appreciated the breakfast provisions so thoughtfully provided. Would highly recommend!

The place was very clean and we felt like home. Sheena thought about everything - tea, sugar, milk. There were even cookies! The kitchen is well-equipped. The surroundings of the house are beautiful. It was a great stay! Thank you Sheena! I highly recommend this host and place.
