Old Fishermans Cottage

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just returned from a magical two-night stay at Linda's stunning seaside cottage in Wales — an absolute gem! Nestled right on the beach with direct front-door access to the coastal path, it was the perfect blend of nature and comfort. The highlight? Relaxing in the lush, private garden, serenaded by blackbirds and the gentle rhythm of the ocean. The peaceful atmosphere, the beauty of the Welsh language echoing all around, and the sheer tranquility made it unforgettable. Highly recommend this special place — we’ll definitely be returning!

Upper Sign Farmhouse, A Mid Wales Country Retreat!

AngharadRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful weekend at the house; it’s very spacious and clean. The garden was our favourite area. The children loved the ‘magic play house’ and us adults loved the hot tub. The surroundings were beautiful and it was such a peaceful stay. Thank you for such a lovely weekend.

Chapel Cottage

MichaelaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Can't thank Katrina enough for opening up her little cottage for getaways. Everything was beautiful and spotless and check in and out so simple. The hottub was a well needed luxury after walking around the Welsh countryside. Cannot fault the cottage one bit and will be sure to return in the future!

Ty Gwilym; a beautiful Brecons barn conversion

JudithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at the barn. Lots of room for us, a family of six adults. Comfy beds, great shower with lots of hot water for us all to shower after being on the river all day. Kitchen was very well equipped too. Would definitely come back.

Beudy Banc Barn Conversion stunning views

HarveyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely converted barn with amazing views. Very remote but Dafydd gave very clear and easy to follow instructions on how to find the property. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with basic equipment and all the living spaces felt homely. Overall, a great stay for a quiet weekend.

2 bedroom lodge with private Hot Tub - Caernarfon

ChloeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a great stay here. A lovely little lodge with everything needed to stay in and cook or bring food back. A helpful folder of recommendations was provided, and Tracey communicated with us very well. Everything was clean and tidy, and it was lovely to be able to use the hot tub while looking out onto the lake. Great location, only 5-minute drive into the town where there is shops, bars and takeaways. Nice and close to Snowdon and Zip World, which is why we were visiting. Nice personal touches, a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived, some chocolate and even some Welsh cakes which we tried for the first time. Definitely would stay again if we were in the area.

'The Owlet' -Luxury Poolside Glamping Dome Retreat

KatieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wow - this was by far the best “hot tub” break we have been on and we have been on a few. The dome is so unique. You have the luxury of a full kitchen and bathroom, electricity and WIFI coupled with the secluded rustic countryside setting. There is so much open space around the dome with no one else around. The pond is amazing and we went paddle boarding/canoeing everyday using the equipment kindly provided. There is a wood burner in side the dome and a fire pit outside with plenty of wood supplied free of charge. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

Right on The Shropshire Way Remote & lovely views

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The snug little pods are a perfect place to stay, overlooking open dales with sheep and cows, ducks swimming on pond right outside. Michiala could not have been more welcoming and helpful. we had all the peace and quiet we needed but she was always ready to assist as soon as we needed anything. Her cats and dogs were as friendly as Michaela herself. our neighbours in the other pod were super friendly too ..but with two bathrooms and a perfectly equipped little kitchen between us it never felt crowded. we loved being able to bring our own bedding because we don't like thick duvets, this meant we slept really well and felt absolutely at home.

Unique handbuilt cedar log cabin hot tub & Sauna

GemmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely cabin in a lovely location. Directions given beforehand were spot on. We had no trouble whatsoever. The cabin and amenities were perfect & we felt right at home with the little welcome pack. The hot tub & sauna were enjoyed by all - a really nice touch 👍🏻 We didn’t have the best of weather but walks through the woodland and down to the river were enjoyable - the kids had fun trying to skim stones. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Mariella but it was great to meet Nigel & Rufus, both were very friendly. The later checkout time of 11am was brilliant, especially when you’ve got 4 kids to sort! We would highly recommend. Thanks Nigel & Mariella

!NEW! Birch Banc Retreats - Pen-Rhiw

HannahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A stunning setting and so peaceful! You feel immersed in the countryside surrounded by birdsong and sheep baa’s. I absolutely could not fault the place, it was so clean and tidy with everything you could want! She even made sure to include milk and bubbles for the bath! Her instructions were super clear and she was responsive with any questions. She even popped by briefly to make sure we had found everything to be ok which was so lovely of her. Despite 2 neighbouring cabins close by, it still feels intimate and private. We would love to stay again, we just wished we booked for longer this time!!

The Old Smithy, country retreat

nAyeAhRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely stay in the Smithy! The owner created a wonderful place with many original features, and the accommodation was spotless clean. Dominique and her family are kind hosts, very helpful and reachable if needed. The market town Llanidloes is just a five minutes drive away, where one can find a superb bakery and shop for local products. All in all, a very good position to explore Mid-Wales and the bordering regions. Peaceful and calm, a truly beautiful place. Don't forget to book a tour at the Welsh Mountain Cider!

Brook Cottage

CraigRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Brook cottage was a great base for all the walking and exploring we wanted to do in the area. The cottage had everything needed to relax in the evening and an excellent shower after a day of walking and a really comfortable bed. The road is busy as mentioned but didn't bother us, best advice is to reverse onto the parking space so it's easier to get out. The host always responded quickly with exactly what we needed but all the instructions were accurate and there's information at the cottage. Also nice to have a beer, Welsh cakes and teabags provided. overall we had a brilliant weekend with everything we needed. Thanks

Train carriage on the hill

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Location was absolutely amazing, cabin is nestled in the corner of the property with amazing views, surrounded by forest and mountains. Short drive from Machynlleth (which was lovely, surprisingly lively and quirky) and 30 mins to the beach. Meg went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. Cabin was beautiful, extremely comfy bed, lovely little log burner, kitchen with all necessary cook ware and there was cooking oil. Sink has cold water only and is outside the cabin under shelter on the deck. Shower was lovely and hot, and is down the hill a little from the cabin. There was no running water on arrival, but bottled water was provided and it was sorted by the next morning.

A great stay. Matt was very responsive and gave comprehensive and clear instructions on how to find the accommodation. It was exactly as described and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
