House holiday rentals in Lixouri

Wow. We highly recommend this villa! The best view in Lourdata overlooking Zakynthos and the stunning blue sea . Our hosts were amazing, recommending local services and always responsive to our questions . To make the trip even better we made a friend in a cat that was always there to say hello in the mornings. We would recommend you hire a car or get a taxi to most places as the region is very mountainous which only adds to its beauty! Other than that there was nothing to fault !! Hoping to return soon😁

What an amazing place!! Cannot wait to return…Kefalonia and the villa was amazing. The villa is even better than the pictures. Really clean, modern, private and relaxing. Great location for exploring the island. Pantelis provided lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The cleaner also provided a wonderful service and worked really hard keeping all four villas in pristine condition. There’s a lovely little beach 5 minutes walk from the villa. Argostoli capital is a 15 minute drive away and is a lovely place to visit, head down there early and see the fisherman feed the turtles. We fell in love with Kefalonia and the villa and would definitely return.

J'ai absolument adorée cette villa ! Un bel accueil dès notre arrivé ! Il y avait tous et encore plus pour nous recevoir ! Beaucoup d'eau, bière, vin, glace, café ..... Tous était hyper propre ! La vue est extraordinaire avec un piscine de rêve pour observer le lever du soleil ! L'hôte Amalia répond immédiatement à tous vos questions ! N'hésitez pas à reserver cette villa parfaite pour deux ou un couple ! Deux salle de bain privé dans chaque chambre un gros luxe ! Merveilleux ! Merci !!

Lovely holiday villa, well located on S coast, not far from airport. Well equipped and comfortable. Within walking distance of 2 beaches and tavernas. Local contact, Barbara, was responsive to our enquiries.

We spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is comfortable, cool, had plenty of space for our family of 5 and all the amenities we needed. The kitchen is great for cooking, though we often ate out too. Lahos, where the house is located, is close to Stavros, Exogi, Fríkes, Kioni and all the northern beaches (with a car). It’s quiet too, save for the bell of the local church and the sound of goats and sheep. The pool was a welcome place to cool off. Many thanks Serge.

We spent an amazing ten days at this lovely property. It took us by surprise on arrival, photos really don’t do it justice. The rear is nicely enclosed, and the front overlooks an olive grove. The garden around the property itself has an olive tree, several fruit trees, flowers and even a couple of tortoises. 🐢 Some local products were left in the kitchen for us when we arrived, always helpful! The area is not touristy at all, which we liked, but a car is essential if you want to explore the island properly. Good central location. There is on street park close by. Would definitely stay here again! 💙🇬🇷

Absolutely loved our stay here! The location was so peaceful with such a stunning view! There was a good choice of restaurants and cafes nearby and Spyros also shared recommendations. The facilities were great - everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break on this beautiful island 🙂

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is absolutely beautiful and the views are outstanding. Lots of great beaches and restaurants are easily walkable. William was a brilliant host, sharing recommendations and helping us with restaurant bookings. Would highly recommend staying here!

Octopus Garden stands out as one of our all time favourite Airbnb locations! Ideal in every way! My son and I felt instantly at home! Agia Effimia is a tranquil, cozy village away from it all, yet Argostoli was an easy drive that we made several times to beauty spots on the other side of Kefalonia. The proximity to Sami was a massive plus, as there are tons of sights and lovely shopping. The house is spacious and had everything that one could possibly need. My son enjoyed having his own bedroom and bathroom. The wash machine was extremely handy. Thank you so much for leaving so many goodies for us. It was nice not to have to run out immediately for supplies and groceries. We didn’t do a lot of cooking, as the restaurants in town were amazing! Amalia and Cafe Fior D’amore were our go-to’s. I will miss doing my yoga on the terrace overlooking the bay and listening and to the morning song. We loved the sweet, black cat who always greeted us and shared our sun spots!

Lovely house in perfect location (beach and Argostoli center within 5-10min walk) and amazing facilities - kitchen and bathroom amenities, jakuzi on the rooftop, even cards and little games to play in the evening. Very clean as well. Dennis was so kind and always available to help us :) 10/10 recommended

Nous sommes enchantés mon ami et moi d’avoir séjourner chez Memi. C’est un bel appartement très confortable et très bien équipé avec un grand balcon avec vue sur la mer! Le jardin a l’arrière est charmant. Le logement est idéalement situé pour visiter les différentes parties de l’île. Merci Tish pour votre accueil chaleureux. Ce fut un plaisir de vous rencontrer. Je recommande vivement à tous les futurs hôtes!

Great cosy place with modern furniture and many amenities. Walking distance from Lixouri central square with many restaurants, bars, shops and daily cruises starting points. Quite (with exception of Sunday morning that could hear the local church bells!!) with relatively easy parking taking into account the proximity to the central square. very near the sea and the ferry for Argostoli. S clean nice house that makes your life in Lixouri nice and easy!!

The house was really cosy, very clean with all necessary kitchen equipment for a family stay. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of room for our child to play inside and outside. We could park our car exactly in front of our house which was really convenient when you have a child and many things to carry. The yard was really large, very clean and you could also go for a run or walk in the morning or evening. Maria and her son Petros were very friendly, supportive and gave us great instructions for tours and places to visit. Felt like home. We will definitely visit them again !!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Orianthis Beach House. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer, man überquert wirklich nur eine kleine Straße und ist schon am Strand. Dieser ist wunderschön und recht ruhig, bietet aber viele Möglichkeiten, für wenig Geld eine Liege zu mieten, was aber nicht nötig ist, denn man kann auch im Garten der Unterkunft bleiben und von dort die Aussicht auf das Meer genießen. Kinder haben hier eine kleine Schaukelanlage und genügend Schatten. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es hat zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder und ein großes Wohnzimmer. In der Küche könnte es etwas mehr Auswahl an Geschirr und Kochutensilien geben, das Wesentliche ist aber vorhanden! Wir haben die Gastgeber zwar nicht persönlich getroffen, aber Chara hat sich sehr freundlich per Telefon bei uns erkundigt, uns Tipps für Kefalonia gegeben und stand bei Fragen jederzeit parat. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt, perfekt für Familien!

Eu si iubitul meu am avut o sedere foarte buna si frumoasa. Ne-a placut mult, atat insula cat si casa, foarte intima si utilata cu tot ce este nevoie. Am inchiriat un scuter si ajungeam foarte rapid in centru si la magazine. Cel mai mult ne-a placut cum casa era atat de aranjata, atat arhitectural cat si estetic. Singura chestie in locuinta ar fi faptul ca patul era mult prea moale fata de cum suntem noi obisnuiti, caci noi dormim pe un pat semi-moale este mult mai potrivit pentru coloana/corp ( ceea ce a provocat dureri de spate) si uneori gaseam prin casa gandaci de bucatarie, ceea ce ne stresa, caci trebuia sa ii omoram. In rest a fost super!

We spent a wonderful vacation at Kritamos Home. Maria is a great host (along with her husband). On one day, she even delighted us with a traditional home made greek meal. The house is very nice, perfectly clean, AC working well. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen had all the things we needed, the bathroom was pretty nice and provided enough space for us. Finally, the living room was beautiful. All the furniture in the house is of high quality. There were three tables (two inside, one outside) where we could eat. The village of Pesada has a very nice and easy accessible beach (10 minute walk from the house), but a bit crowded in the afternoons. There is a single store in the village, so a car might be useful (but you will want one anyway to visit as much as possible of Kefalonia). Argostoli (the capital) is the nearest town, a 10-12 minutes drive. But the entire island of Kefalonia is worth exploring. In all, I recommend with all my heart a vacation In Kefalonia at Maria's place.

We loved our stay at the villa, it was perfect. The pool was fantastic and the villa itself had everything, and more that you needed for a fabulous holiday. We did walk into the village and got a taxi back as it was quite a steep walk - next step we'd hire a car. We loved getting the ferry across to Agostoli. The cleaner was lovely and changed the beds and towels twice whilst we were there, the place was spotless. It would be helpful for future guests if a 'how to guide' was available. We didn't know that you had to press a button to get hot water, we struggled with the washing machine as it kept going on about wi fi and apps and the sink in the kitchen didn't have a plug so we felt we wasted a lot of water. We loved every minute of our stay and thank you too for the sorting out the boat trip for us - we loved it, a really fun day.

The house is located 5 min to Lixouri where you can find everything (supermarket, restaurants, etc). Also Theo’s place is located around 20-30 min to very beautiful beaches. On top, Theo is just great and loves the island! Everything was just perfect during our stay!

The apartment was very nice. Incredible views. Zee was very attentive to our needs during one of the hottest 3 days in history, even leaving cold drinks for us when we checked in. The apartment was very clean and exactly like the description. The house is located in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was a breeze on the street right in front Thanks for a great stay!

Had a really amazing time here. Love the area of where it is located. Perfect if you want a more authentic local experience. Great beaches nearby, great restaurants, and lixouri just 10 mins drive away. A car is a must tho. Lovely cats, beautiful sunrise view in the mornings. Very helpful and responsive host. It is a 5 star from my side but this place might not be for you if you: - need fast and reliable wifi - want to be in a walkable busy area

Πολύ καθαρό και άνετο κατάλυμα, εξοπλισμένο με τα απαραίτητα. Σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, μόλις 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι του Ληξουρίου. Η οικοδέσποινα πολύ φιλική, μας έδωσε λεπτομερείς οδηγίες για την τοποθεσία του καταλύματος και ήταν πάντα άμεσα διαθέσιμη να μας απαντήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαζόμασταν.

Wenn ich 6 Sterne geben könnte, würde ich! Unser Aufenthalt in Kefalonia war wirklich fantastisch! Panteleimon war ein sehr aufmerksamer und zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Er hat super schnell geantwortet und Tipps für die Gegend gegeben und hat sich angeboten, Auto, Boot, Reservierungen und alles zu checken. Wirklich toller Service schon vor der Ankunft. In der Unterkunft erwarteten uns Snacks und Souvenirs, sowie zwei entzückende Katzen, die uns sofort ans Herz gewachsen sind. Die Lage des Hauses ist ein Highlight - komplett privat, mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen und der nächstgelegene Ort Lixouri bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und es gibt keine angrenzenden Häuser oder Nachbarn, die wir mitbekommen hätten. Ausgenommen Schaf- und Ziegenherden, die auf dem Feld gegenüber weiden :) Der Garten ist riesig und bietet zu jeder Tageszeit schattige Oasen. Auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir träumen schon von unserem nächsten Aufenthalt hier!

Σας ευχαριστώ για την υπέροχη διαμονή για 2η φορά, αν και μόνο για μια ημέρα λόγω επαγγελματικού ταξιδιού. Ελπίζω σε επανάληψη σε καλοκαιρινές διακοπές. Τα πάντα στο κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρα, ενώ με καλοσωρίσατε αν και ήταν νωρίς το πρωί.Είστε ένας καταπληκτικός οικοδεσπότης!
