Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Livry

Gathered as a family of 8. Given the gloomy and sometimes rainy weather, the indoor pool was used a lot. Close to the landing beaches and Pegasus Bridge. House furnished and tastefully decorated. Suitable for 8 people. Very nice rental.

A wonderful house in a tranquil location in the middle of nowhere. Our young boys thought it was the best house ever with a fantastic garden, climbing frame and footballs as well as the children’s bedroom which was full of fantastic toys. The house was immaculate with plenty of space and was exactly what we needed. The 2 shower rooms were lovely and although there was only 1 loo on the ground floor (all bedrooms on the first floor) it didn’t matter for our short stay. The only thing to note is the open tread staircase is tricky for small children, particularly in the dark at night.

Aurélie is always very responsive and very friendly. The accommodation is really cute, and is even better in real life than in the photos. Neat decoration. Lots of amenities. I recommend it and will definitely come back for a future stay. Thank you 😁

We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

Very spacious, very well-equipped and welcoming accommodation. Some chocolates were waiting for us on arrival: we found this small touch very thoughtful. The space was perfectly equipped for a long stay. Great for a long stay.

Fantastic location! If you love history, nature, quaint shops and restaurants, beautiful surroundings, and historic archetecture, you will love it here. It was my favorite stop in my travels through five countries over three months. The town is magical and of course, the town is a short drive or bus ride to the Normandy D-day beaches and quaint fishing villages/harbors. The loft is spacious, well-appointed, and has great views of town. The building is old (about 400 years old, I think), so you must forgive it some rough edges, so to speak. But, it was warm (I was there the month of January), comfortable, and met all my needs. Wonderful, warm, responsive hosts. Grocery next door, restaurants and pastry shops up and down the street. I could not have asked for more.

The host was welcoming and gave us the information to access the listing. The location is perfect because in the heart of Bayeux and 2 minutes from the cathedral. I would definitely recommend the owner and the space.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Milene’s place. It was so clean, just as pictured, plenty of coffee, comfortable beds. We could not have found a better place to stay. Conveniently and centrally located with great restaurants and attractions nearby. I would totally recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was flawlessly cleaned and really comfortable. The bathroom shower is particularly great and we enjoyed the view of town from the balcony and the farms out the back window. The place made for a great home base while we explored some of the surrounding area in Normandy. Would recommend!

We had a great weekend at Frédéric's, the apartment is modern, well laid out, well stocked, nothing was missing! And what about the exceptional location with this balcony and its sea view. All this just a stone's throw from the center. Frédéric always responded very quickly and was very accommodating. We were greeted by Michel on arrival who was very welcoming. We'll be happy to go back!

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Accommodation completely compliant and even beyond, David thought of a whole bunch of very practical small equipment. Ideally located, with your feet in the water! Quiet! And top-notch bedding (which is rare on a sofa). Would definitely stay again.

Great convenient place to stay. Only thing of possible concern is the narrow flights of stairs to the top floor. Would be difficult to get big bags up.
