Great for travelling business professionals, a weekend away, visiting family, and tourists!

What a fab space to stay in for a couple of nights. It was really clean and comfortable. The extras like being able to have a cuppa and a biscuit upon arrival are small things that make such a difference. Claire was a lovely host, friendly and helpful. Saffron Walden is a gorgeous town, there is lots to do and it is easily walkable from Claire’s place. We loved it!

Debs and Lucy are great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at Drake Cottage. Set in a lovely quiet part of Saffron Walden but within walking distance to the the town which is full of great shops and amenities. The cottage is fully equipped with everything to make it the perfect stay. I thought the bathrobes were a nice touch. We will definitely be making a return visit.

My parents stayed for a few days and had a great time. They said: We would give Hollyhock Lodge 5* it was cosy and quiet but still only a short walk over park to town and beautiful gardens. Found property clean and well fitted out. Off road parking a bonus.
