We stayed for 2 nights and it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we had. The place has a very unique character to it that made us want to spend as much time as possible in the property itself. We loved the garden with varieties of fruits and flowers and it has a lot of places where you can sit and relax. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and condiments for full fledged cooking. Zelda was very communicative and provided us with everything we asked. She also provided a detailed guide on what to do and where to eat which was extremely helpful for planning our stay in Mendocino. It was a memorable stay, and we would love to visit again.

We were a family of 3 with a kindergartner and loved our stay. The house is clean and beautifully put together.. there were so many little details that felt like someone thought through everything.. down to board games and books to read and a little mirror where I could keep my earrings. The place is spacious and relaxing. We enjoyed playing corn hole and relaxing in the hot tub. Deer regularly visited us in the evening. Location is perfect as well… quiet and private but a short drive to Mendocino. Lori was very responsive and had great recommendations. If you’re looking for a place to relax with your family or a place to work in peace don’t hesitate to book.

This listing has a magical charm to it. The views are stunning and creates a space for both kids and adults to enjoy. We ate a few meals at the house but also drove up to Mendocino as well. Weather was perfect and we got to spend the mornings and afternoons at the nearby beaches. When we got back to the house, the kids had a great time playing with all the toys, games and puzzles. This listing truly created a wonderful home-base for our family vacation.

We had a great 1-night stay. Lynn and Peter were friendly and responsive hosts. The property is off the beaten path, and they provided thorough directions for getting there. We arrived late at night and they had turned on the outside lights and fireplace for us. We appreciated the snacks and drinks they provided. The bed was very comfortable and the towels super soft. A trail leading to a tranquil forest is steps away from the door. Just a note that many of the windows do not have any coverings, so you may want to bring a sleep mask. 😊

This Airbnb was adorable and even more cozy and comfortable than the pictures! It was great being a few minutes from Mendocino and close to Fort Bragg. My friend and I wanted to be more in nature and not in a hotel and this spot was perfect! 5/5 stars… would stay here again!

If I could buy this place (and the extended garden) I would. It’s the first Air BnB I have stayed in that felt like a home and not a Pinterest pin. It was peaceful, homey, and quirky. Being in it with the all the windows open for the sea breeze was wonderful.
