Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lincoln County

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

This place blew our mind! We went as a family with kids and loved everything about the house. So many fun things like kayaks, paddle boards, outdoor games, etc. We loved it so much we tried to stay an extra night. We've stayed in a bunch of rentals and this is our #1 favorite of all time. Highly recommend! Comfortable, quiet, fun, beds great, plenty of sitting room, fun outdoor areas. Will stay here again.

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

Great place. Very responsive host. Loved the covered dock with table/chairs for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. All the necessities were available in the kitchen, very well stocked. Good fishing (bass and bluegill) right from the dock and backyard, great for kids. Multiple kayaks and paddle boards onsite with an easy launch from the backyard and numerous life jackets available. Very pleasant location in a quiet cove. Would stay again.

Perfect spot on Lake Norman with everything you need inside the house. McKenna was a great host and would recommend the place to anyone!

I have nothing but great things to say about Julie and the house. She was always very responsive to questions and very nice. The house was amazing! The views were amazing! Inside the house it was clean and very inviting. Everything was super comfortable. We spent the entire weekend enjoying swimming, kayaking, and fishing. My daughter even pulled in a 10 lb catfish right off the dock. There isn't enough nice things to say about this one. Julie is an amazing host with an incredible place.

The space was great, host was flexible with me needing to check out earlier than I had originally scheduled. I would definitely recommend this space. Wasn’t over priced at all.

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

This is our second time with Sabrina. The apartment is perfect for us and we enjoy having a workout area in the clubhouse. Close to restaurants and our son’s home- great location.

The place was great, It was quiet and comfortable. It met all of my expectations and I would 100% stay again if in the area!

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. The property was close to everything i had to get . It was clean and spacious. Everything about the place was perfect. The host responded to all my text soon after sending them. I'll definitely be back.

Great place beautiful property

This airbnb is only 4 miles away from The Barn at Blue Sky Farm which is why I chose it to stay while attending a family wedding at that location. It is clean and very peaceful. Church bells play faintly off in the distance mid morning. Full kitchen with oven, stove and full sized fridge for anyone that wants to cook any meals. The guest is able to turn on either AC or heat and set the temperature. With the weather in the 70s during my stay I found AC in the late afternoon kept it comfortable and having the window and doors open earlier in the day rather than AC was best. I didn't meet the hosts, but it was easy to access the unit on my own. As parking is under the large deck, the car stays shaded and cool. There is a nice clothing rack and hangers to hang up your formal wear if you are a wedding guest! I'm really glad I chose this location to stay at for the wedding and would recommend it.

What a wonderful getaway with me and my children. With the river running right in front of the cabin and the community vibe, it was just what we needed!!

This was place was just something else! The surroundings were astounding, and the home was very spacious. Not only that but you even get to be with a cat in there, the most gentle and calm cat I have ever met. I would absolutely recommend this house and would love to come back.

It was a delight to spend a few nights in this darling cabin with such a spectacular view from the back porch. Everything was as described by the host, and I would definitely stay here again!

I want to say this place was so at home. I felt we were in cabin and being rural, at the same time so close to whatever we needed. the surrounding was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was so clean and equipped. My son loved the fact he could stay in loft by himself, and still being close to us. we loved to hear birds, and rooster singing around and we also meet some locals and neighbors; very friendly. Robin and Jay were so kind when I needed to talk to them and John helped me to find the local event, even though we didn't go (we had so much fun just being at cabin). We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private A-frame cabin! Tucked away in a serene setting, it was the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Our pups felt right at home and loved exploring the quiet surroundings. We truly appreciated the privacy and calm atmosphere, and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with their furry companion!

Our family of 6 had a great time at this beautiful location. We usually venture away from mountain cabins to explore but we were perfectly satisfied staying on our private beach on Henry River with the kids tubing the ~500 feet that we could see (they weren’t supposed to go around the bend). And Bett’s swimming hole was one of the nicest mountain creek swimming hole’s we’ve ever experienced. It was also nice to be able to get to the cabin easily with no crazy windy roads or steep driveways. There is one nice house across the driveway you can see but we still felt secluded, safe, and immersed in nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Exactly what you would think of for a lake house. Will definitely return when in the area.
