We really enjoyed our stay in le bugue. Emmanuelle and Scott are absolutely amazing hosts. They are so so helpful. They recommended some beautiful restaurants and would help us whenever needed. The accommodation is in a great location. It overlooks a beautiful river. It has access to a lovely garden. Would give this 20/10 if could. Would highly recommend.

Pleasant apartment, well equipped and well located. The parking space is a real plus. Caroline is available if we have a problem. We got all the information about the property and the services offered in advance. And before we arrive, an email explaining how to get there and the market to follow for keys and parking. We're excited.

Nice and clean place to stay.

Despite the language barrier, we were very well received. The environment is very quiet and the hosts are unfailingly discreet. All the equipment is at our disposal and nothing is missing. The sound of water is very present in the accommodation, but very regular, a natural lullaby. Thanks

We had the most wonderful stay at this location. The hosts could not have been more welcoming including cookies for our boys after a long journey. We were blown away by the panoramique villa so requested a change to this villa which was accommodated in a wonderful friendly way. The pool was fantastic and safe for our children. A playground was there as well which kids loved. All cleaning and bins etc were managed by the hosts so we felt like it was a real holiday and able to leave relaxed. The area is beautiful. Peaceful French village but with restaurants, cafe, market hall and river side area. In walking distance for our 3 year old, with promise of ice cream! So much to do for children in the area - caves, Lascaux, lake swimming. The local museum is incredible with a lovely free experience attached. I cannot recommend this air bnb, hosts and area enough. We would love to return!

We had a great stay: Denise and Claude's welcome was very warm and the setting beautiful! We were able to enjoy the pleasures of the terrace, the canoe and the nearby river.

At first, when we booked a place on Airbnb, we were really immersed in the life of a family and a home. Well, that's still the case with Jean Philippe. This house is for you if you aspire to a true and friendly exchange with a beautiful person in a beautiful place.

We had a good time in Dominique's place, it is in excellent condition, impeccably clean, and very well designed preserving the privacy of each occupant and the decoration is pretty, it feels good. The proximity to the lake is a highlight. In addition, the welcome and responsiveness of the people taking care of the check-in and check-out is also to be noted. Maybe we'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay in Gaby’s gite! Beautiful decorated, good bed and bathroom, everything we needed was there. We thoroughly enjoyed the private patio which was very peaceful. The use of the beautiful pool area was also very relaxing! The dinner and breakfast Gaby made were delicious. We would like to come back some day to this amazing place!!

From the moment we opened the door of our car, we fell in love. The house is very charming and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our son loved the wildlife and was constantly on the lookout for new bugs, birds, and lizards. The loirs was no doubt his favorites. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the pool, which was bigger than expected and very nice. We had parents and inlaws coming to visit, a total of 8 at the most. We were very comfortable in the house, if you needed some time alone there was always possible to find a quiet spot inside or outside. We found it as a good base for daytrips in the region, there is a lot to see and do, but need a car. We have been to many places around the world, having an international family, and it is the first time we have been really sad to leave. (Even the kids that was looking forward to Disneyland). Abigail has been a great host, quick replies and very helpful. Many thanks again for letting us live in in your beautiful house.

Our family spent a wonderful four days in Jean-Christophe's place, and we were very sad to leave. The garden and the view of the chateau are gorgeous, and we took good advantage of the walking trails through the woods. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable, especially with the wood fire. The village is very small, but it is an easy drive to Sarlat and some of the most beautiful towns in Dordogne, as well as the many painted caves in the Vézère Valley. Highly recommended as a quiet retreat and as a home-base to explore the region.

A perfect stay, from the first contact to departure. A great, lovingly renovated and furnished house with a beautiful terrace in the middle of the village... in the morning at breakfast the view of the first excursion boats and canoes, in the evening hot air balloons just above the river and village. We enjoyed many hikes and sightseeing in the immediate vicinity and then always looked forward to "coming home" to the vacation home. The contact with Anne was nice and uncomplicated… everything great and highly recommended!

We had an excellent family vacation (4 generations). The setting is beautiful, quiet and pleasant. There are activities for all tastes within a reasonable travel radius. The accommodation is spacious, enough space for everyone. The playroom is very nice. Thanks to Nicolas who is a very friendly host. It's not a cliché: holidays in Creuse, happy holidays.

This is a delightful property to stay in with fantastic garden and a lovely large pool area. Even in height of summer the apartment is cool inside and there is lots of garden seating & outdoor eating areas. Our teenagers adored the pool and easy access to the beautiful Dordogne river for impromptu paddle-boarding! The location is literally a few minutes walk to 2 fantastic family-friendly river-side restaurants and Pessac’s local shop. Cat was a super helpful host and lives in the adjoining property with her family, so is always on hand if needed. She will be also be offering retreats in 2025 - I can’t imagine a better location for one. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time. Patrice is very attentive . Great apartment with beautiful lake views and it is very functional . Very family-friendly resort! Hiking, skiing , bar, restaurant, bakery, local products... We put our bags down and enjoy!

Carolyn’s gite was a find, very well equipped, the views are breathtaking and Carolyn and Paul were very accommodating and friendly. We were fortunate enough to stay during the towns medieval Festival where we enjoyed the fireworks over the bridge. Another plus was the beautiful dogs they own!

Château La Barge offers a peaceful break thanks to very welcoming hosts, in a nice setting that allows you to enjoy a beautiful pool. Thank you to Elisa and her husband for welcoming us so kindly and advised us on the area.

Very functional apartment for 1 couple with 1 child. We had a very good stay! In winter, shuttle nearby to go to the heart of the resort, restaurant less than 5 minutes walk.... Thank you very much!

A nice little studio for the few days spent discovering Auvergne. Located in a ski resort, local shops are often closed in the summer season. The studio itself is easy to find with the instructions given, well located and a parking space easy to find as well. It contains the bare minimum for a good stay.
