Room in peaceful house with great transport links.

Comfortable family home, all modern conveniences, rear garden. Near O2. Detailed directions from major transport hubs (rail and air) please see the arrival guide for visitors. 3 cats in residence, all friendly. We have an Old English Sheepdog, big, noisy and bouncy, very friendly. House is warm in winter, cool in summer. Guests asked politely to be mindful of current pressure on energy, costs and supply, and be considerate in their usage of shower etc. Toiletries not supplied. Towels are.

The house is 5 min away from Thames River pathway. Near to the house is the bus station and from there buses can get you to Abbey Wood Station . From there Elizabeth Line takes you to the heart of London (Bond Street) with total journey time 45-50 mins. 02 Arena is 38 min away. Canary Wharf is 35 min away.

Lots of buses to North Greenwich for O2 Arena. Free parking on weekends. Weekdays I can arrange visitor parking for duration of your stay, just let me know! This lovely house has a private drive for 3 cars, it is just a few minutes straight walk to the Bexleyheath Train station and local shops. Bexleyheath town centre is only 5 minutes by car. The house is spacious and comfortable with a large family friendly garden. There are 2 double beds and a single. There is a microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, stove as well as free WIFI and a smart tv with Netflix, Disney and Prime.

Akins place was conveniently located near Abbey Wood station which allowed us to travel anywhere in London via the Elizabeth line. He helpfully let us drop our bags off early when we arrived in London around 9am, however the check in time from 3-5pm was a little strict. The room was cosy and had lots of amenities, though the bed was a little firm and was quite squeaky.

Super nice, clean , cozy and quiet place to stay. many options to get in there. Iza was super helpful all the time. such a beautiful person. everything was perfect. The fact you can use the kitchen and the washing machine is very helpful. If I come back to London soon as solo traveler definitely I'll be looking forward to stay here again. Thanks a lot 💖

Probably the best airbnb room that I’ve been to. Everything is so thoughtful, it’s like a Japanese flat - they managed to put everything you need in a limited space. Lots of touchy feel decorations, one won my heart - it’s about sunshine. I appreciate the amount of time and care the hosts put into it. I would say it’s more like a piece of fine jewellery than a room. It’s pity it’s so busy and booked - I would love to stay there again. The river bank nearby is perfect place for running, it’s full of wild growth and flowers and deserted. If you want to go supermarket- Lidl has very European chic. Netflix will help you to relax at nights. Blankets are very warm and cozy, not cheap linen. Ah yes, in the morning you can hear dogs from nearby breeder. They are actually worth listening to - they sing like symphony orchestra- just listen and enjoy. It’s only 10-15 mins but if you don’t like symphonies- there are ear plugs. Definitely would stay again!

We stayed across three nights and had an amazing first time in London. Malik's kindness and helpfulness always ensured we felt at home, providing us with incredible sight-seeing recommendations (like Greenwich park), advice about how/where to travel to (using an oyster card), morning chats, allowing us to use his fridge for our food and use his kitchen, doing all washing up, and helping pick up bottled water for us from the shops. There needs to be more Airbnb hosts like Malik; polite, genuinely caring, and very well accomodating. The place was perfect, with a comfy bed and lounge. Cupboards and drawers for clothes and personal items helped keep the room organised. We came on the way to study on exchange so the desk was particularly useful also. Thank you very much to Malik. Our best Airbnb experience ever. Highly recommend.
