Het huis van David-Paul is de ideale uitvalsbasis om het hele eiland te verkennen. Het is heel mooi en met bijzonder veel smaak ingericht. Het kan regelrecht uit een boekje komen. Alle materialen zijn kwaliteitsvol en het bed beschikt over een bijzonder goede matras. Ook 's avonds is het er heel gezellig. De tuin is groot genoeg om in elk hoekje te kunnen wegkruipen met een goed leesboek en een tasje koffie of aperitief. Een zalige plek om te vertoeven. Als we nog terug in de buurt zijn, komen we hier zeker terug. Onze laatste dag was het niet verhuurd en mochten we uitchecken hoe laat we wilden. Bijzonder attentvol van David-Paul. Een topverblijf. Dank je wel, David- Paul !

Heerlijke vakantie gehad met de kinderen. Ontvangst door Isabelle en Eric was heel vriendelijk. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en de locatie is perfect om het eiland te ontdekken. Dorp en winkels zijn enkele minuten lopen en binnen een paar minuten fietsen ben je op het mooie strand van Le Bois Plage. Bedankt!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Laurence. Nous avons apprécié la décoration de Noël, ainsi que l'équipement (cuisine). Très bon contact téléphonique avec Laurence.

We loved the house... incredible location close to the sea and the centre of La Flotte, but away from the noise and bustle. The house sits in the middle of its own walled garden, safe for pets and very, very private. Lots of space to park 2/3 cars as well though the little road to the house is quite narrow. Our mini fitted fine! Audrey and Catherine were super responsive too. Thank you La Flotte for a wonderful holiday!

Wild Dunes was even better than we expected. Clean, bright, airy with good size rooms and air conditioning in the main rooms. A beautiful garden, with a great pool, loungers and furniture plus outdoor games (petanque court, chess, darts, table tennis). 10-15 mins by bike to the local boulangerie and port. 1 hours walk to the lighthouse which was great with the dog. Clara and Pascal were lovely hosts. Always willing to help and make suggestions, without being obtrusive. While it was not an issue for us and only my opinion, the garden is great for adults and older children but not what I would call 'foolproof' for young children or 'excitable' dogs. Various steps, flagstone paths with pebbles and only a small grassy area offer some risk of accident. Having said that the pool was great, with good safety features and our dog had a great time communicating with the other dogs and there was plenty of room at the front and sides to sniff around. So maybe I'm over thinking it.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Ferien in dieser kleinen Hütte direkt am Meer – die Lage ist traumhaft und genau wie beschrieben. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Hütte ist wirklich sehr klein, mit eher bescheidenem Stauraum. Durch die Lage im Wald und in Meeresnähe ist die Luftfeuchtigkeit spürbar hoch, was sich auch im Innenraum bemerkbar macht. Es gibt einen typischen, leicht erdigen Geruch, wie man ihn von alten, feuchten Häusern kennt. Die Sauberkeit war für ein Haus dieser Art und Lage absolut in Ordnung. Wer allerdings einen sehr hohen Anspruch an Hygiene oder Perfektion hat, sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es sich um eine einfache, naturnahe Unterkunft mit viel Charme. Ein Highlight war für mich das Schlafzimmer: klein, aber wunderbar harmonisch eingerichtet – mit einer ausgezeichneten Matratze ohne diese unangenehmen, plastifizierten Matratzenschoner. Ich habe selten in einem Airbnb so gut geschlafen!

Just back from an incredible 5 day stay to celebrate my birthday with friends. This is one beautiful place which is even prettier in reality. The location is excellent in order to walk to the town and the beach. There is a bus service to and from the airport and La Rochelle within a 5 minute walk from the property. It’s a must visit place on a stunning island.

La maison de Kasia et Anthony était parfaite pour notre week-end entre amis. Le terrain est immense, bien entretenu. La piscine et la terrasse sont très agréables. Et les chambres sont très confortables avec une excellente literie. La maison dans son ressemble est vraiment décoré avec goût et nous serions bien restés un peu plus longtemps ! Toute la communication avec Kasia et Anthony, et avec Sandrine sur place, s'est très bien passé, tout était simple et fluide. Merci beaucoup

Très belle maison dans un quartier résidentiel paisible. la terrasse et sa piscine sont à considérer comme une pièce supplémentaire. Merci à Mélanie pour sa réactivité et sa disponibilité!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans cette villa, accueillante avec sa décoration raffinée, son beau jardin et sa piscine de belle taille. La plancha et la terrasse abritée sont ideales pour des repas d'été.

Très jolie maison, très propre avec équipements de qualité. Endroit calme . Nous avons rencontré un petit souci avec la piscine et Thibaut à été très réactif pour essayer de régler le problème à distance , même si le problème n'a pas été complètement résolu, nous avons pu toutefois bien en profiter et passer de bonnes vacances.

We all enjoyed your beautiful house. We appreciated the artistic style of the place and the relaxed feel of somewhere that is loved very much. We appreciated the design of the place and the inside and outside spaces, the generous amount of wonderful kitchen equipment, the games cupboard, the dartboard, and most of all the wonderful swimming pool was really enjoyed by everyone. We enjoyed the location very much. Being able to easily walk to the daily market, to the beach or to cafe's and restaurants lent joy and ease to our stay. Thank you very much we would love to come back again .

Séjour en Famille très agréable avec le beau temps, tout le monde à bien profité de la piscine sécurisé pour les enfants, location très propre avec trois salles de bain avec douche, donc pas de perte de temps à attendre tout le monde. Marie-Noelle est une personne très chaleureuse et accueillante. Je recommande la location, car très calme et près des commerces.

House was very well equipped with everything you could need. Nice location within quiet residential area with easy access to lots of facilities. We cycled to the beach, bakers and to town centre and beyond. Safe cycling routes. An amazing selection of bikes too, we took our own but didn’t need to. The pool was lovely, a real sun trap, being fenced off was a must for us, very safe, with child proof latch. The tiled floors throughout mean sound travels so not ideal if your children are light sleepers. All in all brilliant week.

Our stay at Emilie’s place was great! The house is very clean and modern with a lovely garden area which was perfect for our little one. 10 minute walk to the beach was perfect. Lovely quiet town which was walkable from the house. Great location to get to nearby towns. We couldn’t use the pool unfortunately due to it being very cold, I would be mindful booking this time of year again as the heating was not on in the pool. Would have been great to have this. Emilie was a great host, very responsive to our questions and very accommodating. We would come back again as a family for sure. Thank you for having us.

We had the most fantastic family holiday at this beautiful property. It has a total wow factor - a superbly renovated, classic Re house tucked away behind gates and in a walled garden with a large pool and stunning outdoor eating area. The house is open, elegantly and easily furnished, and the kitchen is an absolute dream - very large and open, every appliance you could want, a breakfast island you can actually sit at and a wonderful wooden table and pews. Even on the odd rainy day it was a joy to be there. The beach and great cycle hire are 5 minutes' walk, and the lovely little village of Portes en Re 6-7 mins walk - easy for the morning boulangerie run. If I could transport this house and its stunning interiors to London I would be very happy - but sadly I think the house would not. Thanks to Richard for being so responsive and kind, and to Nicolas and Jonathan for the great welcome and advice throughout. Currently plotting our return which cannot come soon enough.
